I left Cov for London and Kent in 1972 but I still associate with this song and its words. You can take the kid out of Cov but not the Cov spirit out of the kids - now older fellas. Yes, I was there along with 36 year old son who 'watched' the cup final as an eight week babe in arms. LAST PUSB!

Spoke to Utd fans on the way back to Coventry on the train who said pretty much the same thing. These few minutes mean a lot to us.

It was amazing. Gave me a lump in my throat during the chorus. We then joined in for the United song. A brilliant day, with a crushing end, but I'm so glad I was there. And yes, we'll live and die in these towns and that's just fine.

Thankfully it's not me on audio. The person who's got WLADITT going from the start is Stu, he's got this as the anthem. In terms of it being played in full, that'll be a production schedule discussion and where the club and Stu think it would work best. In it's current spot (between teamsheet and KO), there's not enough time, so would need to be earlier in the schedule if that was to happen. Thankfully, that's not my call 😅
