I’ve watched several of your knife review videos. Always well done, precise and straightforward. I like how you go over each aspect of the knives. Nicely done.

I have been daily carrying a RR431 trapper I got for $10 awhile back. One of the best knifes I would gladly pay a few times what I paid for it

Such a cool Trapper. You convinced me. Had to order one. Cannot believe there are still some available. Just hope mine is as nice as yours. Love the bone on these and no stamped front bolster. Not a problem that there is no half stop. My Case full size dont either and they are 5xs as much in price! Thank you Matt!!

That same Tobacco stained line has a really nice lockback trapper pattern.
I got 1 in the Classic Carbon, and I got to say, I like it a lot. When you take in that the knife is $10 , it blows me away.

Slippy that sure is a sexy looking knife it shows case up too as fit and finish is exellent as is cost proofing you Don't need to spend ridiculous amount to get good fit and finish case has been skimping on fit and finish apparently 🇮🇹👍🦊🐾

Definitely my favorite shield from RR. Although, I recently got a tortoise shell Barlow and that shield is giving the acorn a run for its money IMO. Cheers, buddy!

@@SlipjointSawyerit’s gorgeous and the fit and finish is better than some of my case knives. My new edc. The bone is a little darker than yours and it looks great. Mine has the new blade stamps so they must’ve started making them again. Would love them to bring back the series and have a sway back wharncliff with this bone and shield.

I just received one of these in carbon steel. The tobacco bone is noticably darker than yours, more of a honey brown. I cannot find anything wrong with the fit and finish, The walk and talk are fine, somewhat lighter than I've come to expect from Rough Ryder, but certainly acceptable. I checked the knife over thoroughly, gave it a light coating of oil and returned it to the plastic sleeve and the box. This one will be a collector.

So I have 2 trappers in the outdoorsman series, but it’s not this one. One is the mini version of this one, which is a great knife. The other is a 4 inch trapper, with a locking clip blade, and that one has a defect in the bone dying job, on the pile side, which most ppl wouldn’t like, but I don’t mind, I like that it’s a little different. Something about these older RR knives, they seem to have stronger pulls that the newer ones. I’m with you on this being a fav series, I think there’s a couple outdoorsman’s series as the numbers are far apart, so I’m thinking they had more than one. I’d love to get the sunfish in this series, but ppl want way too much for them on eBay, $40-$50 for a knife that we know only cost $15. I get that they don’t make those series anymore, but that’s just too high for a rough Ryder for me. There’s also a weird 4 bladed trapper in this series, that’s like a dbl wide knife. I’d love to see a video on one of those sometime. Another cool video man. Shame you guys have such draconian knife laws over in the UK. I’m in New York State, and trust me, it’s almost as bad here. lol you can have a switchblade, but only for fishing and hunting cuz we all know, fisherman and hunters use switchblades lol I understand the 3 inch blade rule, cuz of vital organs being 4 inches deep in your chest, but non locking knives seem dangerous to the user. Makes no sense. Keep up the good work

If SMKW would move away from making their knives out of 440A and make them instead out of 440C,,,,Case would crap their collective britches.
