The dealer quoted me $500 and a local place quoted $350. Thanks to you I got it done for $45, a couple of beers, and about 1.5 hours of work. Thank you much
You all are wrong you loosen the bleeder cuz the brake is at the lowest point and all the settlement sits at the lowest point over time and when you push that back into your system you can get away with it so many times then there's gonna be the one time you mess up the master cylinder or the antilock system that's why uyou open up the bleeder. This is the difference between a back yard mechanic and a professional mechanic.
When you guys squeeze the calipers back you should open the bleeder add a hose and loop it over the strut so you won't get air in your system but the very important reason is that dirty oil in your calipers can damage your ABS Valves.
only a hack would use a wrench to pry against a brake rotor! OMG that is a precision surface turned to very tight tolerances. Its your brakes for gosh sakes! Use a non metallic item if you have to pry an old pad off!

Very easy job to do just takes a couple of man hours and you save $500 or more
Thanks man I appreciate you taking the time to make the video.
No problem. I hope the video was able to help you some.
Don’t touch the bleeder valve unless you are actually needing to bleed the brakes. Just loosen the cap like you did.

Great timing for me. Good explanation and tips.
