I went and took the liberty of updating the thumbnail. The old one was fun since I wanted to leave the main game topic a mystery but after awhile it would probably do this video better if the title and thumbnail were a little more honest.
I've always adored the animations of this version of the game. This was really solid retrospective of sorts for this game. Hopefully one way it can a sequel or at least a modern rerelease on Switch.
Too bad Nintendo doesn't care Also uh they scrapped Peach in Punch Out to be the final boss because of the idea of punching women was controversial well now look at Olympic games. Well that was something lol
I know that motion controls are looked down by the gaming community, but this game with Wiimote and Nunchuk was soon much fun, it used to be my favorite exercise routine even after I stopped using my Wii for everything else. Sorry if I misspelled something, English is not my first lenguaje
I beat Mr. Dream (Mike Tyson's reskin) on 3DS virtual console, after 2 hours straight of attempts. I still haven't gotten far in Title Defense on the Wii game...
@@Mr.Welbig Honestly after the dynamite punches, Tyson/Dream isn't that bad. Harder than Super Macho Man and maybe Mr. Sandman, but far from impossible
@@fakesmile172 Exactly. The fact that one punch knocks you down is a bit ridiculous. Especially considering how the rest of the fight is pretty standard, WITH the same punches doing less damage.
Good video but on DMC1 in particular, it wouldn't have hurt to mention that Europe was at 50Hz and that regional versions complicate the best version for games on older platforms before we mention added or removed content. I'm not sure "reboot" really belongs here as well. Maybe I'm cursed as a DMC fan to always see reboots as something that ignores or disrespects what came prior on some level. I suppose you can consider Ninja Gaiden on Xbox to be a reboot but that can be said for most first 3D platformers which have to recontextualise a lot. Punch Out is in another space which is more like an adaptation from a comic to a cartoon. I see the New Super Mario Bros series to be similar as another NES/Arcade series with most inconsequential story. All that said, great video which got me really interested in Punch Out. I knew the Wii game looked good but it was mostly off my gaming radar besides NES based videos. Kid I cares Uprising is SOOOO good.

Only 45 views is criminal, great video!
Agreed, definitely deserves more even now
High quality content, good luck with the algorythm
Hey you have a talent at making these edited videos dude I hope you keep it up
Ahhhh there’s nothing like getting halfway through a video before finding out that’s it’s all about Punch-Out. Incredible video.
I will forever love how you say "comp-eye-ilation," sounds like someone on OneyPlays would say it lol

This game has always been cool to me. Would be cool to see an equally sick sequel one day handled with the same care.
I haven’t procrastinated for a whole month!
super high quality video and something i wholly was not expecting. good job from joe mammy
Been watching your videos and I gotta say I am a huge fan!

I beat him on Wii U Virtual Console twice. Couldn't tell you how long it took. I'd argue Wii TD is harder for Mr. Sandman alone and Soda Popinski.

Great video!
Fun watch :)
Good vid 🙏
Great video though I feel it would have done better if it either had more remakes to talk about or was just titled as a punch out video
