I love what you did with the room! If the look of the curtains bother you, you could always add more curtains (like probably another full size of the ones you purchased) so it creates “ruffles” which could give out like a rich condo aesthetic. The current situation would make it a bit flat even if there’s light.
I agree! I've seen people suggest having sheer curtains that are twice the length of the window, this way there are always "ruffles"/texture, even when the curtains are closed.
In love! Maybe get some curtains with a warmer/more neutral tone or maybe even ones with a pop of color! I think it would tie in with the room perfectly
the room definitely looks exactly your style and very cozy! I would put the mushroom lamp on the pedestal tho and maybe add a light green and beige pillow to tie everything together even better. someone else also said the rug should be bigger and that you could add warm stringlights to the room (maybe along the curtains) and I agreee!
While this was a major upgrade, I def think you need a bigger rug to really ground the whole room! Also, you should put that wicker light somewhere else and put the cute mushroom lamp on that pedestal as it looks out of place where it is ✨ love the star decals!
Great makeover 🎉 I would maybe like a small shelf under the clock, where you can style some frames and personal stuff you collected. The upside is you can easily change it once in a while.
I can’t wait to have my own place and decorate it. Your place looks so put together 😍 i recommend to get a knock drill, don’t know if I translated it correctly, but it’s a drill that moves up and down a little so it drills more easily in cement walls. Also buy a drill bit for cement walls :)
OMGGG!!!!! its just giving midnights..... the stars and the clock please.... and she said "checkered patterns never go out of STYLE..." I lovvveeddd its sooo good!!
I really thought you wouldve used cricut for your curtains lol but I get it, doing it on the wall is much wiser. And I let out a relieved sigh that you chose to stop at the clock. Another gallery wall will too much because the two will be in technically one room. Now it really compliments the dining room's decorations
I love your aesthetic...you really have a knack for interior design. I think the clock and stars are perfect (I hope you don't mind that I'm going to copy that look!😉😉) Thank you for the great videos...I just subscribed tonight (full disclosure), but I actually started watching you when you began your renovation videos. If I had your space I don't think I would breath outside air very much either! It's beautiful.
I'm still up to the curtain part of this video. The white sheer curtains you got are pretty. You should add some solid coloured ones on the outside of the curtains so you have a solid and a sheer and it adds colour!
for the curtain situation, just adding warm toned color string lights - the curtaicould be a decent one.. but.. also adding two gold-ish type of curtains alternatively (this way - 🤍🧡🤍🧡- imagine the orange heart as the gold-ish curtains) could tie up things together really well i believe.. or adding some diy green details to the curtains to match with the rug like you did for one of the bathroom curtains..
I'm so amazed at the frames you find at the thrift store bc all the frames at my local thrift store are like regular ass modernish frames like not a single one looks antique/vintage or ornate they're just plain metal. so jealous
But tbh it kinda washes her off like it's a fresh breath of air to see her in a different colour but this one particularly is not doing it and is definitely off
Just wanted to let you know that I recently started following you (I have heard of you before) because you sharing your music on your youtube videos is an aspiration for me. I'm almost done with my music degree, with emphasis in music production (by chance more than by choice), I've been on youtube since 2010 and I want to work for myself and be able to travel around with my cat. Thanks 💗
Love it! I was concerned at first about the decals but it looks super cute and I think you've done such a fantastic job pulling a mix of styles together 😊 my only feedback is to size up x2 on the rug - imo it needs to anchor the couch and will make the room look bigger.
I think the curtains would look better if they were a little but more sheer? That way the white colour won't look as opaque, loving the apartment though! 🫶🏼
I agree with you on everything but the rug. I feel like it needs to be bigger. It'll make it feel more put together. Just a thought. But honestly I made all your decisions the same as you did so ❤❤
I do believe you can drill into cement with a special drill bit called a masonry bit?? I would recomenned getting a drill set with all the different bits for different things! Love your makeover videos as always! ❤
I think the reason the curtains look bare is bc of how they look at the top (there's nothing on the top). So I suggest, you get a small curtain thingy (I'm don't know the name) basically the one which cover 1/3rd the curtain (in some shade of brown or maroon) and since you like vintage, it'll look amazing!!
I noticed the tissue box is gone in the after and I just wanna say CROCHET A COVER FOR IT!!! it's so easy and looks soooo cute and you can keep the tissue box for practicality but it can fit your aesthetic
The moment you show that clock I knew it was going to look soooo nice en the middle, it really put everything together so nicely
(also Midnights vibes)
my mom had that exact clock in our house for years! it was never styled as good as this lol
I hadn’t seen your hair yet! It looks so good!!!!

This. The white in the one she has is a little too cold.
A couple warmer white ones in the middle and the same green from the rug on the ends would look so good😍
I can’t believe it’s been about 8 years since I first found your channel and it’s still fun to watch❤
Ahh this means so much to me, thank you!!
The star decals I’m obsessed 😍😍😍 I agree each detail and piece really works well together! Cant wait for part two 😊
the room definitely looks exactly your style and very cozy! I would put the mushroom lamp on the pedestal tho and maybe add a light green and beige pillow to tie everything together even better. someone else also said the rug should be bigger and that you could add warm stringlights to the room (maybe along the curtains) and I agreee!
Maybe you could put a large, ornate, gold floor mirror on the blank wall in the living room
My thoughts exactly!!
I'm soooo happy you went with that color for the stars!! It is the perfect little touch for the room, I never would have thought of it!
I feel like if you put just a few small stars near the clock, it would tie the stars from the other panels in nicely!! Good turn out, too cute!!
While this was a major upgrade, I def think you need a bigger rug to really ground the whole room! Also, you should put that wicker light somewhere else and put the cute mushroom lamp on that pedestal as it looks out of place where it is ✨ love the star decals!
I do wish the rug was bigger too! I looked for a larger one but they didn’t have a bigger one 😭😭
yess exactly what i was thinking

the stars on the wall are so aesthetic
OMGGG!!!!! its just giving midnights..... the stars and the clock please.... and she said "checkered patterns never go out of STYLE..." I lovvveeddd its sooo good!!
the third frame in the haul is my favorite, very pretty
Love all the apartment content!
Holy crap, this one is SO stinkin' cute, I think it's my absolute favorite of your makeovers!!!
I really thought you wouldve used cricut for your curtains lol but I get it, doing it on the wall is much wiser. And I let out a relieved sigh that you chose to stop at the clock. Another gallery wall will too much because the two will be in technically one room. Now it really compliments the dining room's decorations
GIRL the stars and the clock together are gorgeous GORGEOUS
love it, turned out really good!! want part 2 pleaseeeee
I love the rug! , All the mini accessories 🎉and the vintage ⌚ can't wait 😄 for part 2❤

Another Jen video we have been so blessed lately
vertical stripe curtains would look cool
Hard work, great advice and a top notch sense of humor. Love it!
your apartment is so nice im obsessed
You really are an artsy gal, well done. Love the new decor. It's not too much either
I feel like your aesthetic is more ecclectic.. its like a veautiful marriage of organic vintage modern & victorian. We luv it! Thanks for the inspo!❤
Honestly idek what to call my style haha I just see things I like and put them in a room together, but I like the way you describe it hehe
I'm still up to the curtain part of this video. The white sheer curtains you got are pretty. You should add some solid coloured ones on the outside of the curtains so you have a solid and a sheer and it adds colour!
Girlie omg I need that chess set 😍
YES YES YES JEN POSTED. you post when its 2am for me every time, which is perfect for me
💗💗💗
The green shirt at 8:48 is such a good color on you!
It looks so nice & cozy, Jen! ❤

I think an overhang arch lamp that would arch over the couch would look better to fit the space.
14:30 “In dry condition? Me.” 😭😭
U need 2 more curtain panels to give it the full effect. The ruffles will help with the look you’re trying to achieve.
The wall def gives off Peterpan movie vibes
Soup’s on is (I think!) a play on the French word soupçon which means a little of something x
Oh gosh I love this so much Jen! It looks amazing ❤❤
I really like her decor of your place
For the curtains you could out a ribbon around them like half way and then leave the top part a little poofier if that makes sense :)
I hope you don't drop that mushroom lamp jenn...💖❣ Love love love the decore!!!!!
Omg knocking on wood
THE STARS ARE SO CUTE I NEED TO TRY IT
I love it, it matches the vintage tv and the dining area. Love the pop of green with the carpet .🥰☺️
I loooove your sweater zip-up Jen! 😍❤️
yayy it's a good day when jen uploads!!
Love youuuu
that was a amazing makeover 😍😍. Love u jen!❣
I'm so amazed at the frames you find at the thrift store bc all the frames at my local thrift store are like regular ass modernish frames like not a single one looks antique/vintage or ornate they're just plain metal. so jealous
Off topic BUT your hair is sooo pretty!!!
still can’t over how good your hair looks!❤ ok i’ll shut up now and watch the video
But tbh it kinda washes her off like it's a fresh breath of air to see her in a different colour but this one particularly is not doing it and is definitely off

the diy queen is backkk
Love the wall of stars
Hey, you could stain thr curtains in the livingroom. Maybe with some Coffee or onions for a slightly Beige tone 😊❤
Watching Jen is like watching a baby HGTV show 😭😭😭 im absolutely obsessed
I think the curtains would look better if they were a little but more sheer? That way the white colour won't look as opaque, loving the apartment though! 🫶🏼
I love your grey zip up!
I agree with you on everything but the rug. I feel like it needs to be bigger. It'll make it feel more put together. Just a thought. But honestly I made all your decisions the same as you did so ❤❤
You could even add a cute fringe on the curtains

I think a large fan would have fit great on a wall with your decor
Babee I swear u bought the condo only last month
Love u Jen ❤
Just finished the first class video ❤
Love Your New Look ❤❤❤
maybe bows on the curtains could be cute
I'm thinking about getting a Cricut when I move and it will be easier for myself to do my own room.
I love how everything turned out! Where’d you get the rug from?
the rug should be bigger but i love the checker pattern!
loving this so muchhhh
you should do crochet art
I noticed the tissue box is gone in the after and I just wanna say CROCHET A COVER FOR IT!!! it's so easy and looks soooo cute and you can keep the tissue box for practicality but it can fit your aesthetic
Soooo good!!
So, I loved every thing except the gold stars, and for the curtains u need to have four not two so u it can folds and not being straight.
Love!!!!
I aspire to be as aesthetic as you.
where’d you get your rug from? it’s soo cute and i’ve been wanting a rug like that but can’t find one that’s good 🥲
Love ITTTTT
PLS MAKE A BED ROOM MAKEOVER PLS LOVE LOVE
where did you get that cloud cardigannnnnn
I think I have the same mushroom light but my led bulb didn’t fit. What brand did you use?
Hey @JENerationDIY when's the part 2 coming? :D
Ok is it a condo or apartment? I get so confused! I watched all the videos and she goes back and forth. Anyways I am excited!
Technically a condo haha but I kinda use them interchangeably
Where is your cardigan from?!
i LOVE it
Not that I need my dad 😂😅 4:38
I love everything !!! but the rug. I think that it's very different than the rest and too small 🫤
Oh interesting!! The rug is actually my favourite part! I do agree it is a little small though
Justice for middle child 😩
This was a month ago wheres pt 2 😭🙏
big slay
i have the same clock
get some accent pillows
it is not a condo makeover without busting out the cricut!!
where's the fake floral arrangement from?
It was actually a real floral arrangement from a wedding that dried up!
pretty!@@JENerationDIY
How do you like My life with the Walter boy’s?
I’m sooo obsessed with it I just love me some bad acting and a cliche romcom plot line
I trying not to hate the haul... not sure why
QUEEEENNN
