I love what you did with the room! If the look of the curtains bother you, you could always add more curtains (like probably another full size of the ones you purchased) so it creates “ruffles” which could give out like a rich condo aesthetic. The current situation would make it a bit flat even if there’s light.
I agree! I've seen people suggest having sheer curtains that are twice the length of the window, this way there are always "ruffles"/texture, even when the curtains are closed.
In love! Maybe get some curtains with a warmer/more neutral tone or maybe even ones with a pop of color! I think it would tie in with the room perfectly

A couple warmer white ones in the middle and the same green from the rug on the ends would look so good😍
While this was a major upgrade, I def think you need a bigger rug to really ground the whole room! Also, you should put that wicker light somewhere else and put the cute mushroom lamp on that pedestal as it looks out of place where it is ✨ love the star decals!
I do wish the rug was bigger too! I looked for a larger one but they didn’t have a bigger one 😭😭

the room definitely looks exactly your style and very cozy! I would put the mushroom lamp on the pedestal tho and maybe add a light green and beige pillow to tie everything together even better. someone else also said the rug should be bigger and that you could add warm stringlights to the room (maybe along the curtains) and I agreee!
I feel like if you put just a few small stars near the clock, it would tie the stars from the other panels in nicely!! Good turn out, too cute!!
Great makeover 🎉 I would maybe like a small shelf under the clock, where you can style some frames and personal stuff you collected. The upside is you can easily change it once in a while.
I can’t wait to have my own place and decorate it. Your place looks so put together 😍 i recommend to get a knock drill, don’t know if I translated it correctly, but it’s a drill that moves up and down a little so it drills more easily in cement walls. Also buy a drill bit for cement walls :)

Another gallery wall will too much because the two will be in technically one room. Now it really compliments the dining room's decorations
I'm so amazed at the frames you find at the thrift store bc all the frames at my local thrift store are like regular ass modernish frames like not a single one looks antique/vintage or ornate they're just plain metal. so jealous

I'm still up to the curtain part of this video. The white sheer curtains you got are pretty. You should add some solid coloured ones on the outside of the curtains so you have a solid and a sheer and it adds colour!

Love it! I was concerned at first about the decals but it looks super cute and I think you've done such a fantastic job pulling a mix of styles together 😊 my only feedback is to size up x2 on the rug - imo it needs to anchor the couch and will make the room look bigger.

For the curtains you could out a ribbon around them like half way and then leave the top part a little poofier if that makes sense :)

for the curtain situation, just adding warm toned color string lights - the curtaicould be a decent one.. but.. also adding two gold-ish type of curtains alternatively (this way - 🤍🧡🤍🧡- imagine the orange heart as the gold-ish curtains) could tie up things together really well i believe..
or adding some diy green details to the curtains to match with the rug like you did for one of the bathroom curtains..
please try a red/ornate rug too ❤ even though I love the checked rug ❤

I think the reason the curtains look bare is bc of how they look at the top (there's nothing on the top). So I suggest, you get a small curtain thingy (I'm don't know the name) basically the one which cover 1/3rd the curtain (in some shade of brown or maroon) and since you like vintage, it'll look amazing!!
Soup’s on is (I think!) a play on the French word soupçon which means a little of something x
You could even add a cute fringe on the curtains
I noticed the tissue box is gone in the after and I just wanna say CROCHET A COVER FOR IT!!! it's so easy and looks soooo cute and you can keep the tissue box for practicality but it can fit your aesthetic

I do believe you can drill into cement with a special drill bit called a masonry bit?? I would recomenned getting a drill set with all the different bits for different things! Love your makeover videos as always! ❤
