I loveee the gallery wall and I also agree that it would have been too busy on the other wall. I think it would look sooo good if you hung a large mirror on the open wall! It would really open the space and still fill that wall without it being too much.
Just to answer the building question, when you are calculating the dimension of its structure you have to take into account what is called usage overload which basically depends on the use that the building is designed for (residential, offices,…). So yeah, basically the structure always has a security margin just in case. :))
I love the victorian-French aesthetic ✨✨ but I think the vase would look really good on the pedestal and will distribute a little accent onto the bigger wall as well
just to say, it's not to be harsh but that's all but the victorian french style it's like 70-80's french style nothing more (i'm a student in art history)
I'm all for mixing different styles! I think the gallery wall looks great bc the colors work together and I personally prefer this kind of eclectic style instead of a perfectly organized modern one. I think it was the cat that sold the gallery wall to me lol
it's a really small detail but i think centering the sideboard with the wall instead of pushing it to the wall would make such a huge difference especially since ur gallery wall is centered with the wall already !!
I loveee the aesthetic! Also, if you want fresh flowers your vase you could move the fake flowers to the gallery wall by pushing them through the racket holes in the badminton racket and cut of the stems so that way it adds some color to the wall. And then you can switch out fresh flowers easily in the vase on the table. Just an idea. ;) Love your videos Jenn, can't wait for more!
So, so excited to see your apartment coming together~ Your gallery wall is aesthetically pleasing that it looks like it can be found somewhere on Pinterest :’) and your dining area really shines in the sun ☀️
Jenn this is your era, you look like you're finally growing into your skin and you look so comfortable and smart. YOu look great, everything is really fitting into place for you!
girl put the flowers and vase on the pedestal. It will fill up the right side of that wall when you are looking at the room from the living room area. And look so great!!
the goosebumps i got while watching the before-and-after. you've come a long way and it's so great watching everything finally turn out the way you like :)
Jen! Your question about the structural integrity of the building in relation to the heaviness of objects inside is not stupid at all! Typical items like furniture, millwork, and appliances are taken into account by structural engineers. If you were to add a particularly concentrated load like library book stacks, large file storage, or an automobile, you would need a structural engineer to analyze the building to make sure what you are adding won’t affect it or if you’d need additional structural support.
Ahhhh gorly I love all the colorssss the browns and tans and different shades. I love the mix of all the different things going on on the wall. I feel like it’s so much fun and has sooo much personality. Def agree with having that cabinet darker color. Even small pieces like choosing a different shade of smth really makes a big diff. The furniture looks soooo pretty and sturdy I’m in love😍😍😍so well done and so happy and proud of you!!
it looks soooo pretty!!!! i feel like a gold rimmed mirror would look beautiful on the blank wall if you want to add anything else! it'd still match the theme bc gold and it'd just reflect all of your decor. it'd also make the space look bigger and more open! if you found something that'd work at a thrift store it'd look awesome there!
at first i was like idk about the gallery wall but i actually love it so much!!! it looks so good! but the most important thing is that you like it 💓💓 can't wait for more
Hi Jennifer! I just wanna say that I’ve been watching your videos for a really long time now and I am always so happy when you post! I also love your songs, they are literal BOPS and the lyrics are always so meaningful. Also, the dining room looks gorgeous and so do you!
I would love to see that back wall a really gorgeous dark colour. Including the cupboard door. Then the room would recede and give your space more depth and your aesthetic a moody flair :)
im so jealous about the gallery wall its gorgeous, I think you should put like a giant mirror with an antique gold frame around it on the other wall!!!
The pedestal that was added at the end definitely adds that perfect finish, I know it can be hard to maintain real plants but a hanging plant would look really nice on top of it. Perhaps a glass vase with water in side would help with the maintenance (not a pot with dirt plant). Overall looks great Jen!!
It looks amazing!! U should try putting the tall grayish pedestal on the wall in between the 2 doors on the right.😊 also my favorite part of the gallery wall is the racket it's so cute!!!😆❤❤
The room looks so nice!! Suggestion: The dinning table side looks a bit empty next to that stunning gallery wall, I feel like moving the vase with the flowers to the table, or even adding a new one, would add a magical pop of colour 😍. Also, maybe painting the doors or the big wall a fun colour or putting up some wallpaper 👀. Anyway, excited for the rest of the makeover!!
I have loved watching your journey evolve through life and through your yt channel, the gallery wall came out sooo good !! It matches not only your ascetic but it just fits well on the wall x, possibly on the bigger wall , if it suits u maybe a full person mirror? , loving your vlogs 🤎
actually OBSESSED with the gallery wall omfg I really need to do something like that in my bedroom. wish I could find cute wall decor and victorian style frames like that at my local thrift store but it's always like generic metal frames
I absolutely love the gallery wall! ugh it's so beautiful. Also loveeee wooden furniture (especially like the dark walnut oof, but also the lighter shades) and it's so nice and refreshing to see someone else who loves wooden furniture as well
I like it. The gallery wall turned out nice, especially with the rod on it. The flower vase is also really cute. The only thing I would change is moving the pillar to the other side of the console table so that it's more visible.
looks amazing!! i'm absolutely OBSESSED with the gallery wall and i think he round table was the perfect move for this space. I can't wait to see what you're gonna do with the other rooms
absolutely love the whole vibe of your apartment jen! also totally agree that it would be to busy on the other wall. can't wait for the rest to be finished. love u💕
Just watching this video now and love your furniture pieces. A thought for your gallery wall - do half of the pictures on each wall, building out from the corner. That could be fun as a statement wall.
omg i was just binging some of jens videos while attempting to alter a pair of jeans and then this gets posted when im about to clean my room....i love when stars align or whatever
I would add a nice mirror to the one wall you left blank because it would make your space look bigger and it would add a bit of visual interest to the wall without being too busy! It would be so sick to see like a big Victorian one with like an intricate gold frame!
i love this series! its so fun and entertaining. and you have been uploading so frequently lately its unbelievable how fast you are. sending good vibes! love your personality btw✨
I think moving the small mirror on top of the cabinet to the right would balance out the mirror on the wall better so they aren’t both on the left hand side. That racquet is so nice and you got so lucky with the artwork at the thrift store that day!
The dining room came out so cute! love that you chose a darker color for it!... Side note: You don't have upstairs or downstairs neighbors either!? if so, i'm jealous! My downstairs neighbors like to throw loud parties and my floors literally vibrate lmao.
I am also moving out this month so these videos makes me inspired so much. At first I wasn't a fan of these paintings and furniture but in the end it looks stunning. Great job, loove it
Hi jennifer. you're dining room looks so good and love that you went for a wooden table and not glass table. i had a suggestion. Since you are getting a lot of deliveries, I assume there is a lot of packaging I hope you are sending it for recycling and not just throwing it down the garbage chute. cause there is going to be so much plastic. can't wait for other rooms and an update on the bedroom!!
I loveee the gallery wall and I also agree that it would have been too busy on the other wall. I think it would look sooo good if you hung a large mirror on the open wall! It would really open the space and still fill that wall without it being too much.
Oh that’s a very good idea!!
Yes! Big mirror would be perfect
I completely agree
Oh I so so agree! It would reflect the auspicious gallery wall for the win!
jenn’s dining room furniture is giving very much late 70s early 80s vibes and i love it
For having commitment issues, you committed to your design and it’s amazing! Love your new dining room!❤❤

OMG the gallery wall is incredible it is giving me inspo for when i move out, and defo reminds me of a Parisian apartment!!
Love the aesthetics of the room!!! You should totally DIY an intricate gold tv frame! I think it would match really well!!

I think moving the small mirror on top of the cabinet to the right would balance out the mirror on the wall better so they aren’t both on the left hand side. That racquet is so nice and you got so lucky with the artwork at the thrift store that day!
