2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 A/C Problems

Has anyone seen this before. It only happens on real hot days when my truck is shut up all day. Seems like an electrical problem to me. Chevrolet engineering said this seems normal to them, and the dealership want even look at it.

Just got a pre-owend 2018 Z71...doing the same shit and I was on a road trip in Laredo Tx...Hot AF!😲...what was the issue with yours?...was told they are notorious for the welds on the condenser to leak🤔

We just unplugged the battery for a few everything is working even moter temp gauge that was off

Does anybody notice when you do the remote start that the AC runs differently hotter? I’ve also have a Chevy 2018, 1500 LT Z71 I took my truck in at 40,000 miles and had them do a Freon exchange. It came from the dealership or Chevy with way too much Freon in it I think about 6 pounds and it needs 5 pounds ever since then it hasn’t been blowing as cold, but I was worried that this would cause damage to the system and have leaking problems. I kind of regret doing this. It was very expensive and probably not worth it. Even on low my AC is not very cold and it’s 60° right now in Waco Texas. It should be freezing me out. I’ve also put in a new in cabin air filter.

Exactly what happened to my 2018 today.
I like GM's but starting to wonder.

If you take the glove box out, theres a white spindle and widget looking thing, it doesnt turn all the way after time. If you move it manually while turning the temperature down you can move it, but you cant move it without turning the temp knob, so its a lil bit of timing. Or just replace the part.
