Seriously great help! Save me the hassles to drop in the mechanic! Bless this guy!
Thank you! This worked on my Honda Ridgeline. I seriously thought I was going to dish out $200, until I figured I youtube it first. Came across this video, tried it and my AC was back to cold.
Awesome, glad it worked for you! 👏🏻
Fixed my 2015 Ford Explorer! Worked like a charm! Thanks!
This absolutely worked on my 2017 Cadillac XT5. I do appreciate that you took the time to make this very informative (and money-saving) video. Thank you!
You bet, very glad to hear that this helped… the dealership got nearly 3k out of me, and the problem still kept happening. So I started doing my own homework lol. 👍🏻
Hi, I have a 2017 XT5 as well with the same problem. I am going to try this procedure this am and I pray that this works. Million dollar question, is your a/c still working properly at temp out of both sides?
Yes, it worked and have not had the problem again, works great on both sides.@@Lou-uo2jh
Just went outside and had this problem on my 2008 Dodge Caravan that I use for work. All I got to say is thank you soooo much Man!!!! You just made my day and my Daughter and Grandson uses it when I’m out of town working. I was on my way to Advance Auto to try to figure it out but you saved me that trip. Blessings! It’s hot in Ga!!
Awesome, glad to hear it helped you!👏🏻
Thank you!!! I have a 2015 GMV Yukon that has been falling apart lately. This time, it was no AC on driver's side, cold on passenger side. I can seriously related to you when you say you never get lucky on things like this. I was ready to take this to the dealer and pay another $1,000. Appreciate you for posting this video, saved me bigtime!
Awesome 👏🏻
Had same issue with vents after replacing my steering wheel position sensor on my 2014 GMC Yukon XL. This video helped with my vent issues. Thank you for posting this.
You bet, glad it helped.
Hey,
I tried it. It actually worked. Thank you for sharing. Simple fix.
WOW, it actually worked. 2012 Silverado and it worked so good I had to turn up the temp it was so cold. Thanks man.
You bet. 👍🏻
Just wanted to let other viewers know that this advice worked for my 2014 Sienna....I appreciate the time and money you saved me! Thanks
Hey that’s awesome, glad to hear it! 👏🏻
Curious if that was a typo. Did you mean Sierra like GMC Sierra? Hoping so because I am having this problem on a 2014 Silverado and they are basically the same truck.
EDIT: nvm didn’t realize there was a Toyota Sienna.
@@FrankRoosevelt32 2014 Toyota Sienna
Thank you! Worked for me. Right side still cooler, but left side is cooler than it was before this fix
Dude, you are awesome! I was about to buy a new blend door on Amazon and thought I better double-check RUclips to ensure I diagnosed it right and came across your vid. Did what you said and it worked! SO EASY. Thanks again.
Glad it helped 👍🏻
Thank you so much it worked for me !! I was so frustrated my AC wasn’t cooling on the driver side but after this it’s working just fine , been weeks no 😊thank you so much 🙏
In fact, you saved me! I have been so worried about my driver's side heat blowing so cold. Your instruction just fixed it. Thanks a bunch! BTW, it is Lexus R330 2004.
Had the same problem with a 2013 GMC Sierra. Passenger side wold blow cold but the driver side just hot air. I followed your instructions in the video and it fixed the problem. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome, glad to hear it! 👏🏻
Hey mate thanks for sharing this! I have a Volvo C30 T5 that had the passenger side ac. Blowing burning hot and i thought i was going to have to replace the blend door actuator but i figured i would try this first and it work. Saved me about 180 something dollars plus trying to figure out where the damn thing is in the first place.
Awesome, glad it worked for you… I’m hearing that it’s working on numerous makes & models. 👍🏻
This worked on my 2013 ATS!!! Thank you for the post!
Awesome, glad to hear it! 👏🏻
Found out this problem can occur if your car battery is running low and needs to be replaced. After replacing the battery still had the issues hot one side cold on the other. Watched your video and tried it on my 2013 Lincoln MKX. First attempt didn't work without the dual button on. Worked like a charm after turning it on and doing the step over again. Car reset and saved me a bunch of money Thank you for your post.
You bet, glad it helped.
Thank you this video. Safe my life. My 2007 Honda Accord had the same problem. The day I was going to take it to the mechanic, I saw your video.. It works No my AC working like a champ.❤❤❤
Awesome 👏🏻
@@papajoeknows8355 is the car suppose to be turned all the way on

@@8killa209 yes, and leave AC on the whole time.
Hi it worked for my 2017 Nissan Rogue SV 😊 it saved me another headache 🤕 thank you to you and my friend that shared this video with me😊
Thank you for posting this I could not believe the simplicity of this. This was my situation….I had cool air on the driver side, but the passenger side was blowing out warm air.. so I did exactly what you suggested:
Fan on high-max heat for 5 min, & w/ fan still on high, changed the temp to max cold & within 2 min, the passenger side was just as cold as driver side…. This is awesome. You saved me a trip to my mechanic (who is a reasonable and fair guy) but with your help, I fixed it myself.
Awesome, glad it helped you. 👏🏻
Thanks! Nissan sylphy b17 2018 user here. same problem. this worked!
thanks! 🎉

Hey man just curious, does yours ever revert back to having the problem? Mine fixes itself when I do this trick but it often goes back to driver side blowing warmer when I get back in for my next ride. Wondering if you have same problem.
@@FrankRoosevelt32 I’ve had it happen 3 times, and this has corrected it each time. It hasn’t happened again yet, and it’s been many months now, so keeping my fingers crossed.
This really worked! I have a 2004 BMW E46 and the passenger side wasn't blowing cold but now it is. Actually, the ac seems to be responding better than it did before. This Texas summer heat ain't no joke! Thank you, good sir! 🤠

I sure hope this works on RAV4s. Sending this to my son to give it a try. Thank you for posting this.
Just had someone comment that this worked on their Sienna, which is also Toyota. So fingers crossed.🤞🏻
Did not work on Rav4. I can hear the flap inside moving from hot to cold or vice versa. My guess in my situation the flap is broken or the gear in between. I only have hot air on the right side.
I am going to try it now. Booked into the Toyota dealership for later on in the week
Thanks bro, this actually works on my toyota vanguard.👍

Just tried this, 2007 Odyssey. Turned fan on high for 5min. Then while synced, turned temp all the way up for 5 min. No change so then while still synced turned temp all the way down and within a minute I got cool air on driver's side so with that it worked. Thank you so much for posting this! Will let you know if it gets hot again .
