Going woke as a priest won’t end well. Leading the flock astray is such a serious sin. All we can do is pray they stop.

We can also stop going to those churches as a kind of protest. Yes prayers help but we also have to do something . I stopped going to the only Catholic Church in my city because I didn’t like how they were lecturing their missals. I now travel to neighboring cities where I prefer the way a traditional priest runs his church.

Catholicism has its own Bible and teachings, which are blasphemous to the word of God: the Holy Bible. As ye follow the teachings of man and not God; ye hear the pope, but not Jesus, yet ye claim to be his disciples!
These are but a few things I named ye dwell within; there are many more. I tell you now to repent of your sins, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and you'll receive the gift of the Holy Spirit upon asking the Father!
There are *NO* sub-divisions of Christianity. You're either a disciple of Christ or not. A Christian is someone who follows God's word, not a religion. Who obey the Father and follow his will; not man's nor their own heart's. Unless you keep Jesus' commandments, think not the Holy Spirit will dwell within you!
They who heed this message and did what was stated with an open heart to God...
Read the Holy Bible (KJV) daily and every time before you read, pray to the Father and ask:
"Lord I ask that you give me understanding of your word, that I interpret it the way you want me to, and none of my own. I ask you in Jesus' name, amen."
      Revelation 22:8-9 KJV
8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
      Acts 2:38 KJV
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, *If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.*

Everything must be smoothed out and put into conformity, whether or not you think the thing you're conforming to is intrinsically wrong, because otherwise people deeply insecure in their own lifestyles might be reminded for an instant of the fact that not everyone agrees with them. I converted to Conservative Judaism when I was 21 - since then Conservative Judaism has become extremely political and liberal- I feel betrayed- beliefs are not suppossed to change with social trends. The tragedy in the Jewish world, is that if you're not Orthodox but you're a traditionalist or socially conservative there's really no place for you.

However, I absolutely have fallen into a lot of political/cultural social media that drains my time & also stresses me out over the state of govt & culture, but if I take that time instead & use it for more productive things such as more prayer time, Bible study videos on RUclips, I’m sure I’d be less stressed & have less anxiety. If lots of Christians did that as well, the hot button, political issues wouldn’t matter because our spiritually-fortified presence in our communities would change the world regardless.
Everyone pray for me to take my physical & mental limitations due to my health issues & find out exactly how & what God wants me to do. Some days & periods it has to be prayer only because that’s all I’m capable of. For the days I can do more, is God’s will still prayer or is there something else I must do, & if so, pray for God to clearly show my stubborn behind what it is & help me figure out the best way to accomplish that goal. Amen. 💒

As a German ex-Catholic and long-term observer of the situation, I can only agree. And you got this with the church taxes fully right. On his last visit to Germany, pope Benedict XVI proposed abandoning the system. No one listened. Of course not. By the way: In Germany, you also have to pay taxes for the public broadcasting services, and it's the same mess: You have no say in what they are producing, and they have a clear political bias. Benedict's proposal was not reflected in most media, and the word of dissenters with the situation is twisted in their mouth and turned against them. Germany is really in a difficult situation in many respects, now, and a lack of discussion culture and openess is at the core of all the problems since it created a lot of illusions and simplistic thinking about difficult problems.

6:35 actually this was started by the Catholic church in the medieval age, some countries got rid of it, while others (i.e. Germany) didn't. But they used to call it a tithe. You're required pay about 10% of your harvest (since society was mostly agrarian) as tithe to the church, regardless of circumstances. This lead to corruption within the church and paved the path for indulgences.
A better method of collecting money would have been to ask people to anonymously donate when attending church events/sermons. Sure it may reduce income, but it would atleast keep it honest and reduce corruption.

A little history lesson on the German form of church membership taxation:
After a war with France, many church goods were confiscated in 1803 (= beginning of secularization: estates, abbeys, etc.) but since the small states of the time did not have enough money to finance church maintenance, etc., the church tax was introduced. Finally, with the increase in population and industrialization, the tasks of the parishes grew. In 1848 further "internal" services by the churches ceased. (Real and personal services attached to the property, i.e. tithes and other payments in money and kind as well as personal manual services. The church wealth holders did not receive any direct compensation for this reduction in the yield of the property.)
From around 1827, individual states introduced this "tax law" in order to have the means available to finance various church-related tasks.-- and also take their share of processing fees

I was convinced years ago by a civil and rational debate on Twitter that abortion is evil; convinced more recently by rational argument of Church teaching on homosexuality and convinced shortly thereafter to convert. I believe all of this happened with purpose. The Holy Spirit was guiding me towards the true Church of Jesus Christ. If all it took was a couple of civil debates to convince me, who was raised without knowledge of any kind of Christian belief or teaching, one has to wonder why those who were raised and catechized Catholic could so obstinately turn away from the truth. It seems the only answer can be malice. What else could convince someone with rational understanding of God and the teachings of God and the Church, and the consequences of knowingly and willingly going against them to do so, and knowingly and willingly lead so many others down that path?

I remember 40 years ago reading "Why Catholic?" (Ed. John Delaney), containing numerous luminaries such as Prof. Richard McBrien of Notre Dame fame, complaining about Church teaching on contraception, and ending "but leave the faith of my dear mum and dad?, never!". The issues then were a little upstream from now - but the same individualistic humanism (& Catholic "Existentialism") rolls on in its deconstruction of human nature.
St JP II undermined the ideology of Marxism and laid out principles for purifying and baptising western humanism. As the German "Synod" illustrates, and George Weigel's latest book, subtitled "the Vital Legacy of Vat II", argues, 60 years on we still need to apply them.

Fr Hugh, perhaps Pope St JP 11 discerned that a few more valid consecrated male female marriages vowed to God were needed given his repeating St Paul's opinion at 1 Cor 7: 25-34 in FC, 1981, 16 of "superiority" of consecrated celibate marriage to male female marriage after the purporting presuming this in Vat 11, OT, 1965, 10, Pope Pius X11's SV, 1954, 24 and St Ignatius of Loyola's "Rules for thinking with the Church" in his "Spiritual Exercises", n.356.
Pope Francis noted on 15 June 2016 that "the great majority of sacramental marriages are invalid" as I believe referred to by him on 10 June 2021 as a "worldwide catastrophe" in causing the occult as hidden, incest connected as substitute mate, sexual abuse worldwide of psychologically and or emotionally vulnerable family members by church and state supposed to act as helpers of the family within the family by their grooming by 'familyist' family persons with non-economic false status inducements, e.g., "higher vocation" (TTMHS, PCF, 1995, 35).
These valid consecrated marriages are needed to add to those of Mary, mother of Christ at Luke 1: 29 & 34, 38 and 45, whether celibate or male female, exercising an absolute power of simultaneous authorisations requiring respect for applications of ensuring and insuring valid construction of human nature in consecrated male female marriage in keeping its inseparability and equality in quantity and quality with the spiritual nature of consecrated celibate marriage of Christ in Real Presence or the present moment.
Vat 11 did apply "inseparable" in HV, 1968, 12 on requiring of this by Colin Clark (awarded a Papal Medalion by Pope St Paul V1 and described by Keynes in c.1931 as "quite first rate" as an economist and statistician) in 1964 in a consecrated male female marriage with my mother from 1946 as simultaneously required by him of the UNO Food and Agriculture Organisation on his conclusion from his research from 1931 on the multiplier in economics of "just about paripassu rate of growth of population and food supplies in the developing countries" ("Colin Clark Reminisces with Bruce McFarlane and Derek Healey", Adelaide University, Australia, 1 August 1977, p.29 of transcript of audiotape".
Pope Francis has completed HV, 1968, 12 by de facto on 10 June 2021 after at least my completing my requiring of him on 31 March 2021 on my father's reference point in his ensuring in the Cardinal Angelo Becciu and nine other Vatican state citizens/employees' matter his procreation gift charity donations and his insuring in the "Zan" anti-homophobia bill matter his need of union of his identity with those of his Jesuit religious order consecrated celibate family members adding 'qualitatively equal' to "inseparable" for union and procreation in consecrated marriage.

2:40 The analogy is heavily faulty.
    Doctrinal stances aren't personal tastes.
The Church is not a club. It is a "necessary society" - there are three of them, and of these the family is an imperfect society which cannot provide for all its needs in its domain, without looking outside itself, while Church and State are perfect societies, which, each in its domain, and apart from the overlap where they have to look to each other, can both provide for their own needs to provide for human necessities, without looking outside.
Before you can discuss either my or Cardinal Marx' dissents from the guy I call Antipope Bergoglio and he calls "too centralist" - one needs to discuss:
    * is YEC, Geocentrism and abstaining from praying with non-Christians mandatory or heretical? Or somewhere in between, like neither nor?
    * is ritually blessing gay couples mandatory or heretical? Or somewhere in between, like neither nor? (Meaning obviously a ritual specifically for gay couples - not giving a sacramental blessing to two persons up to now involved in a gay couple _because_ they say they will try to make a partner exchange with a lesbian couple - the latter is obviously not what Cardinal Marx or Georg Bätzing want)

Why we cannot understand and still not wanting to understand the truth of Jesus is not my way, my want, my style, my preference.... if thats all I want, why do we need Jesus??? Jesus came to set us on 'fire', to make us 'uneasy', make us 'change from my want, my way, my style, my preference....mine mine mine...' , it is because only that can we indeed and TRULY be free and be happy. Else we remain as who we want to be then Jesus came for ??? SILLY.
