now catholicism did put together their horrendous version of 'bible'. it has missing verses and added apocrypha - totally disregarding God's basic rules in Deuteronomy 4:2, 12:32 and Revelation 22:18
sentence 2 - this was important for me to understand before i was able to leave catholicism.
Scripture shows multiple ways that it's impossible for Peter to be the focus of that passage. would you like me to walk you through some of the many reasons, so you too can see this Fact?

The Church known as Catholic in the 3rd and 4th Centuries A.D. is the same Church that existed in the 2nd Century A.D. and that Jesus Himself established in the 1st Century A.D. Not only is the Jesus you believe in a different Jesus than the Jesus of the Bible, but the Church and Bible history you believe in is different from the Church and Bible history of reality.
It is always hilarious when people try to say that Peter, meaning rock, was not the rock Jesus was talking about when He said, "You are Peter/Rock, and on this rock I will build my Church."
Catholicism has some heterodox doctrines, but the Scriptures prove that you and your sect are liars, and if you can't even get basic facts of history correct, why should we trust you when it comes to the Sacred Scriptures?

The Catholic church appears to have helped spread Christianity, but they also seem to forget to teach a lot of what is in the bible, such as about the end times, the tribulation, the rapture, and the whore of Babylon. I think God allowed Catholicism and Protestantism knowing both would do many good things.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
It seems to me it might make Jesus angry to know the Hail Mary is taking attention away from Jesus. The Catholic church also calls Mary the Queen of Heaven. The bible tells a story of God being angry at his people making some woman into the Queen of heaven. They were praying to a different woman but still it doesn't seem good to be doing the same with a different woman.
And in Luke it even appears to me we are not supposed to raise Mary above other good Christians. See below.

28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
Also look up the Vatican snake head building. It looks like a snake inside and out. And there's a throne statue that is supposed to be Jesus but it looks like a serpent rising out of the smoke or flames of the hot place. That is no accident.
I didn't want to believe bad about the Catholic church. There are things about it though that are not good. They even have Satanic art in the basement, a mosaic of Satan riding a chariot behind a horse. They even admit it and justify it as being held for historical reasons. It needs to be smashed before they bring it out one day to use it for who they are.
As for me now, I am just reading the bible, a bible believing Christian, and I have no interest in any denominational church. 3 John is a half page long and it basically tells Christians to get along. Bible readers can likely figure out who is sincere and who is full of baloney. Since we are to speak not much when we pray, it probably means to listen more, and read the bible. John 1:1 says, IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The bible was written by men filled with the Holy Spirit, so it must be the word of God. It is backed by about 25,000 original manuscripts.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them; he it is that loveth me. And he that loveth me, shall be loved of my Father: and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
A definition of manifest is: reveal
It appears to have happened to me soon after giving my life fully to God in a prayer. I had awake visions of things I only later realized were in the bible. I was amazed. I only later learned of the above verse and that it happens to many Christians who become born again, which is basically what I had done. Demonic spirits can trick people though. I've run into at least two women who were telling others how they were talking to God. I realized they were both being misled and I informed that of what I knew. Later I couldn't find either of them where I thought they would be and I think they realized they had been misled.
One should be so lucky to have friends like these who love to pray! 💙

I love, love, LOVE being Catholic...once I got to know what my Catholic faith is truly about and how I had to live it.
So, all those priests who favor a watered down version of the faith, like what Pope Francis promotes, are dead wrong. The deeper we understand our faith, the deeper will our love be.

I also love being Catholic. Though I find it difficult to model myself on Jesus, I love being inside the greatest tradition of love and wisdom in the history of humanity. I am currently bringing 7 people into the Catholic community, and they are people who want to deepen the spiritual side of their lives, but also to have some structure. I love living the seasons of the liturgical year and observing my development as a person who can add salt to other people’s lives (Matt 5).

Preach true Christianity, let everyone know about early Christianity, how the Martyrs and Saints who died for Christ should be honoured along with the Mother of God, Mary. Teach the young ones to revere Jesus in the tabernacle by jeneflecting; which gave me the goosebumps, don’t see much of this these days. Are these guys Canadian. They are like East Coast US youth of the 1950s/1960s. None of my cradle Catholic Canadian relative except for my botrher (US by birth, dual citizen) are observant Catholics and have explicitly rejected Catholic teachings, wuith no regrets. They lead good purposeful kind livees.
This faith tradition works well for those who get emotional comfort from traditional religious worship practices and who are straight. On the other hand it is often very stressful for LGBT people.

Following the ONE and ONLY Church that Christ founded is the best. Following Luther and Calvin or other humans, or whoever is making money at the latest mega church, isn’t consistent with Christ’s prayer for unity. Putting one’s faith in Luther and Calvin is especially misguided because most Protestants don’t even accept their doctrines today. It stone to call it one Protestantism - 30,000 plus churches teaching different things, while all claiming to be Bibilical. It’s obviously false.
Church isn’t something you follow. Jesus is the one you follow & as a result of following Him you become His church.
