Good video guys, the S650 is a big improvement in every way. Ford engineers enhanced >113 areas of the S550 to deliver the S650. The reason Ford called the EV a Mustang is that the EPA/CAFE restrictions and mandatory gas economy was met by the Mach E thus increasing more wiggle room to continue to use a V8 and actually increase the horsepower knowing that the gas mileage was going to decrease. Ford was forced to reduce the horsepower on the 21-23 Mustangs. But now having the Mach E in the Mustang family Ford could build the 7th generation V8 Mustang car!!!! So as Mustang enthusiasts we need to thank Ford for their planning and inclusion of the Mach E which meets CAFE standards & EPA standards. Cheers Gentleman!!! 👍👊💪😎🇺🇸
The mach e being under the same name plate is the reason why we have the v8 still.. Because of the mcah e they're able to say the mustang has less emissions.
Great video, guys! I have a 2024 GT, that should be delivered this week with the 10 speed. Mine has the performance pack which gives you the get the drift brake. It’s not just limited to the 6 speed manual.
I paid 59300 for my GT no dealer fees, auto, active exhaust, nite pony and performance pckage. Oxford white btw. Out the door was 63k because of tax and plates and all that.
I love this car. I didn't at first, but seeing it in person really made the difference for me. Looking to trade in my 2020 Ecoboost for a new GT next year. Thanks for the review 😁
Well you certainly have to give FORD credit where credit is due, they have never stopped production of the Mustang and then brought it back just to kill it again.I wanted to buy the Shelby 350 but wouldn't pay the markup they wanted and I've always liked Camaro more anyway.
Guys I think the drift brake feature is only part of the performance pack so even on manual or automatic without that package you won’t get it. I might be wrong but that’s what I’ve been seeing
I mentioned about the rear end of the car as well. Why wouldn't Ford paint the rear end. Who in the hell wants black plastic for the cost of the car?!?!?! IT LOOKS SO CHEAP!!!! Bad call on that. Maybe they'll change it for 2025. It's a no brainer.
Mustangs are now competing against luxury sports cars. BMW offers a better warranty -4yrs and free maintenance for 3 yrs. I purchased a 230i coupe for about $40k. It was a great ride and looked like a German Mustang. Check it out. The M240 gives you great performance and costs about $55k. They are both rear wheel drives cars with cool looking style exteriors and interiors. Better fit and finish and higher quality for a more refined ride. Same price point as the Mustang. Frankly the only reason to buy a Mustang now is the V8 sound, the manual, and of course the cool styling. The quality isn’t as good but who cares! It’s totally subjective and in final analysis a personal decision. Which one do you like best? I loved my Mustang Bullitt but the 230i was fantastic. More nimble and nicer quality build and less money!
My 22 1LE Camaro, that was $48,483.. runs circles around this car.. Sadly its done and gone after this year, but its the best car under $50k by far for the last 7 years.. So, pretty much a low optioned Mustang GT is $55,000 dollars.. OMG.. This spec of a Gen 3 was under $40k.. I bought a 2017 PP1 Mustang GT for $38,600 in 2017..
They both have pros and cons. Yes the camaro handles Better out off the box. Mustang is more practical while still being fun. That’s why it has survived. Coyote is also vastly superior to the LT1 when you want to make big power with boost.
I saw the new GT Convertible today and it was nice! Race Red.with black trim looked good. I’d get the GT coupe in race red with the Nite blacked out pkg, Premium pk.of course for leather and single screen.
He might change his mind wanting that BMW after the first oil change which will cost double what it costs on the Mustang. Every item on the BMW will be ridiculously expensive so even if you bought it for under $50k you'll make up for it doing routine maintenance. SMH.
Routine maintenance for new purchases or leases is FREE for first 3 years, so oil change is not charge. New BMW 2 door coupe rear wheel drive turbo 4 is about $40k for base coupe. M240 with powerful turbo six is about $50+. So look at the BMW too! There are some good buys and Mustangs are actually very expensive these days.
@@rembo183 Mustangs are more expensive, but only on sticker price. Maintenance costs still are reasonable for what it is. After the three years are up and you have to do those oil changes, you'll see how expensive it is. Not to mention that when anything has to be repaired get ready to pay double or triple what everyone else is paying. BMW parts are expensive, just like all European cars.
@@thullraven1 - true. But you are driving a BMW after all. It’s an amazing car. Plus dealer maintenance isn’t necessary for your maintenance ie oil changes. The basic maintenance is more expensive but independent repair shops are reasonable. But you’re right that European high end luxury cars are more expensive to fix or repair than American make cars. I may simply trade every four years or get an extended warranty.. It depends on how much I love my car. I could buy cheaper but nice Mazda C5 when my X3 warranty expires or trade for a new one. The reason the Mach-E has a Mustang logo on it is because the Mustang Team designed that car.so they slapped a Mustang logo on it. I wish they didn’t but they did.
A bit too little driving impression, but at least the wonderful sound is conveyed well. The endless verbal contributions should be at least half as short. Descriptions of the design, which everyone can view and evaluate for themselves, are largely unnecessary and should be kept to a minimum.
