WIND+RAIN=ACTIVE TRUCHA BITE | TROUT FISHING @SANTA ANA RIVER LAKES | SPRING MARCH 24

New adventure at the Old Mudhole. In this Episode, Mother Nature was not in our favor. Rain, wind and the cold were a factor, but we did not let that get in our way. We still managed to get on those fish, caught with an assortment of baits. Thanks to Don Oscar and Caleb for sharing the shore with us. Also, Congrats to Don Oscar for catching that Toad. Sorry for the late reply, but baits that never fail are minnows for double drop shot and mini jigs. Also, line is very important, we use 2lb Izorline and that seems to do the trick, the last fish was caught on Mice tails which also work great there. Hope this info helps 🎣🤙🏼
