What about the verse in the Bible that says many people say Lord, Lord I have casted out devils in your name ect… and He says “depart from me “ this has always confused me .. and when we get saved we are to turn from sin - so if you die in sin I don’t think we’re making it? Am I wrong?

But notice, he told them, depart from me, I NEVER KNEW YOU and calls them workers of iniquity, because they preached a false gospel. Notice, what are this group of people pointing to? They are pointing to their works. and not faith alone this is why Jesus rejected them.. Jesus didn't say, I used to know you, he said I NEVER KNEW YOU. these people were NEVER saved because they were trusting in their works, and not just in Jesus alone, because, once he knows you, He knows you forever.

Either Christ's death, burial and resurrection was sufficient for one who believes in Christ's work through faith or you believe you contribute something to preserve your salvation. Sanctification is when the Holy Spirit sets us apart as holy and conforms us to the image of Christ. It's a life long process. If we aren't worthy enough to earn salvation, then we are not worthy to keep it. It's all Christ, and apart from Him, we cannot achieve righteousness on our own. "Even if we're faithless, He remains faithful" is from 2 Tim 2:13, but I'd like to point out that the phrase right before says "if we deny him he will deny us."
The word "faithful" is referring to God's constant character and goodness, not His willingness to grant salvation unfairly to everyone or to people who reject him.

Well the gift is eternal, but there is still a possibility to throw away that gift. You can by your actions loose the gift.
If you read the Bible, you know the gift is conditional. You must obey the Lord, you must do works of faith, or else Jesus will take away your gift.
Seriously just read the Bible, and ask for wisdom.

@@PeaceunknownandunspokenJesusthere are no conditions on salvation. Just re read John 3:16 - for whosoever BELIEVES in Him shall NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.
If you had to do something to gain your salvation, I believe He would have said that. He did not say, for whosoever believes in Him and does good deeds or helps the needy shall be saved. I agree that once we are saved we should be doing good works. But salvation is not based on your works, it is a free gift, with no strings attached and no works to do.

You must read the entire Word in order to obey the Word.
If you only take some words you can twist it.
In James it is made very clear that faith without deeds is dead.
Many that believe will be thrown into hell fire because they do not do the will of God.
We are told to strive to enter in at the narrow gate.
We are also told to pick up our crosses and follow Him.
You can believe, but that doesnt mean you are a follower of Jesus Christ.

[47]Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like:
[48]He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.
[49]But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”
      NKJV Bible. James 2:14-22
[14]What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?
[15]If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food,
[16]and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?
[17]Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
[18]But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
[19]You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe-and tremble!
[20]But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
[21]Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?
[22]Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?
      NKJV Bible. Matthew 25:31-46
[31]“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.
[32]All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
[33]And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
[34]Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
      [35]for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;
[36]I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
[37]“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?
[38]When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?
[39]Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’
[40]And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
[41]“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
      [42]for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;
[43]I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’
[44]“Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’
[45]Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’

that's not what the Bible teaches. you don't receive salvation until you die that's why Jesus said we must endure until the end. he also said to abide or else you can wither up and be cast into fire. he also said to cut out that which makes you sin here on earth than to enter into hell with it. the Bible clearly teaches that many can and will fall away from the faith. Jesus' sheep hear his voice and FOLLOW HIM. that doesn't mean follow for 19 days then fall back into a life of sin. Paul said to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. otherwise what is the point of listening to the Holy Spirit when it convicts us of sin? what's the point of putting on the whole armor of God daily if once saved always saved? this is a false and man made doctrine conjured up by John Calvin in 1509. once saved always saved wasn't taught for over 1500 years. John Calvin did not show up with the truth. he that is born of God sinneth not. why do 99% of churches these days push this doctrine of devils? doesn't the Bible says the path to eternal life is narrow and few will find it? this false teaching will send many to hell because it doesn't teach repentance and it is a license to sin. endure until the end.

Many denominations interpret the Bible in different ways. How I view it is 3 steps in this exact order. Steps to achieve heaven:
      1. Put your Trust in Jesus, have confidence he is god
      2. Ask for salvation through grace. salvation is a free gift through Jesus’s sacrifice
      3. Do good works/repent
Good works and repentance are expected as apart of the process but they are not what ultimately saves a person, it’s accepting the free gift of salvation that god offers by his sacrifice on the cross.

I knew there is nothing I can do to lose my salvation, which gave me the confidence to explore the possibility I was wrong without fearing hell.
This led to me coming to the conclusion that I don't have sufficient evidence to believe any god exists, and if the Christian god exists (taking the Bible literally), he is not worthy of praise due to his wicked character.

Since many will seek to enter, but will not be able to.
Only a few number of people will be saved, even after being born again.
Read the Bible. Or listen to this man that tickles your ears and with false doctrine may lead you to hell.

However, that is not to say that the person who claims to be saved was ever REALLY saved:
1 John 2:19: They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us
And Christ say to this person, in Matthew 7 (in verses 22-23): Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Guys/Gals: a few thoughts...
Andrew covers all the implications of everything he just said and all of the main scriptures that "seemingly" contradict eternal security in many more long format teachings.
This clip is just a small snippet. Many of the verses that ya'll are saying contradict the ES doctrine actually don't when you go deeper into understanding what groups are being spoken to and what their understing of which covenant they were under was. Paul constantly was astounding and having a hard time himself to even grasp or understand all the implications of the new covenant as he was writing about it...
The bulk of scripture speaking to the new covenant supports ES doctrine. And the smaller hand full of scriptures that Paul writes that "seemingly" contradict have to be carefully understood through the context of the majority of scriptures (which are clear amd specific) that affirm this doctrine, not the minority that "seemingly" doesn't, which are often pulled out of the broader context.
Having a thorough wholistic hermeneutic on this doctrine takes a long time and a patience in faith to pursue over several years. Andrew has done that. I promise if you continue to study this doctrine for the next few years with an open mind to re-read and cross reference time periods, groups, covenants, and specific contexts, you may not end up totally agreeing with Andrew but your views will definitely be challenged to grow in one way or another.
And heck, even if you still don't have even one belief changed in a few years of studying this subject, we're still family that loves God for different reasons, and thats okay.. Jesus is King. You are loved.

Many scriptures show that followers of Christ must endure faithfully to the end in order to be saved. Matthew 24:13 (NIV) says: "The one who stands firm to the end will be saved." In Revelation 2:10, Jesus tells us, “Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.” Also, why would Jesus tell his followers more than once to "keep on the watch" if they are “once saved always saved”? 2 Peter 2:20 says: “If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.” Hebrews 10:26 says that if we practice sin willfully after having received the truth, we will be condemned. Even the apostle Paul said that he disciplined his body and kept it under control so that after preaching to others he wouldn’t be disqualified. (1 Cor 9:27 ESV)

Incorrect. If we can’t lose salvation why did David cry out to God in Psalm 51 begging not to lose the joy of his salvation and begging God not to remove His Spirit from him?
We are saved as long as we remain in obedience to His word after we have repented, and are born of the water and spirit (John 3:5).
Doesn’t exist once saved always saved.

[5]and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,
[6]if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

      [15]looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;
[16]lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright.

[18]For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
[19]because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.
[20]For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
[21]because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

[20]For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.
[21]For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.

[23]For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.”
[24]Then Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned, for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice.
[25]Now therefore, please pardon my sin, and return with me, that I may worship the Lord.”
[26]But Samuel said to Saul, “I will not return with you, for you have rejected the word of the Lord, and the Lord has rejected you from being king over Israel.”

so why isnt satan and 1/3 of the heavens fallen angels still in heaven? didnt they worship and serve God himself in heaven?
why does it say in galatians not to be entangled "again" into the yolk of bondage, while it talks about how when sin is finished it brings forth death?
what about matthew chapter 7 when jesus says not every one that comes to him will make it, even those that had the holy ghost and performed miracles in his name?
why is the entire new testament teaching and warning against sins that we are not to do because it will keep us from heaven?
what about whenever jesus tells nicodemus that unless a man is born of water and spirit he will not enter the kingdom of God?
what about in acts 2:38 whenever it was asked "what shall we do to be saved?" Peter answered and said to repent, be baptized in jesus name, and recieve the gift of the holy ghost, yet there are people that dont believe or apply the requirement of water baptism in Jesus name?
your right, Jesus is perfect, his sacrifice was perfect, and his love is perfect and cannot be taken from us, however the word of God is riddled with teachings and passages that will clearly explain that we can reject salvation based on our lifestyle.
It is, in my opinion, dangerous to teach the idea that we can say a one and done prayer of repentance and then live a riotous sinful lifestyle and expect to be saved, and not even be doing things in the name of Jesus like they did in Matthew chapter 7 and still got rejected for living in iniquity.
it is at its core, false teaching, the bible says the blind lead the blind and they both fall in the ditch.
it also teaches against false teachers giving into fables chasing itching ears, and once saved always saved is a theory that didnt even come around until like the 1600s and it is because people dont like the idea that they can miss out on heaven and are afraid to sacrifice their life, just like the rich young ruler that Jesus teaches about.
Salvation is never achieved before you hear the words "Enter in thy good and FAITHFUL SERVANT".

Do you know there is a difference between being saved and entering into YHVH’s Kingdom?
Many are taught and believe that once they believe and say "the sinner’s prayer" that they are automatically accepted into His Kingdom.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
    Something to consider:
What we have as scripture today is both "old" and "new” testament. However, What was scripture BEFORE the "new" testament was written? Hint: only the “old”.
The statement: “Once saved, always saved” is a true statement. However, the doctrine that statement presents is false.
The Israelites indeed were saved from the slavery of the Egyptians. But because of that first generation's rebelliousness, they did not enter the promised land. Only the descendants of the first generation got to enter the promised land. Likewise, we are saved from the slavery of sin. But when we turn from YHVH’s Law and are rebellious (lawless/iniquity/anomian) we will not enter the Kingdom of YHVH. Let that sink in.
Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
What is the will of our Father? because ONLY THOSE WHO DO IT WILL ENTER THE KINGDOM.
    Matthew 7:22-23
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
These are saved people He will be saying this to! They claim Him to be their Lord and do all these things in His name AND HE TELLS THEM HE NEVER KNEW THEM! Let that sink in.
Since working iniquity causes our Messiah to say He never knew us, what does it mean “you who work iniquity”? let's find out…the Greek word used was anomian. Strong's #g458 states that anomian is the Greek word for lawlessness!
Following YHVH’s Law is doing the will of our Father!
The book of Revelation gives warnings to saved believers:
Revelation 2:4-5 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; OR ELSE I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
Jesus is talking to a congregation of saved believers and yet tells them to repent OR ELSE. Let that sink in.
Revelation 2:14-16 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.
Repent; OR ELSE I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
Jesus is talking to a congregation of saved believers and yet tells them to repent OR ELSE. Let that sink in.
Revelation 2:20-23 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
Jesus is talking to a congregation of saved believers and yet tells them to repent OR ELSE. Let that sink in.
Revelation 3:1-3 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Jesus is talking to a congregation of saved believers and yet tells them to repent OR ELSE. Let that sink in.
    Revelation 3:14-16 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Jesus is saying to a congregation of saved believers that He will spew them out of His mouth!

Read the Bible, press in to the Kingdom of God and fast.
You dont want to loose your soul to sin.
      NKJV Bible. Hebrews 3:7-19
[7]Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you will hear His voice,
[8]Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness,
[9]Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, And saw My works forty years.
[10]Therefore I was angry with that generation, And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, And they have not known My ways.’
[11]So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’ ”
      [12]Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;
[13]but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
[14]For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,
[15]while it is said: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” Failure of the Wilderness Wanderers
[16]For who, having heard, rebelled? Indeed, was it not all who came out of Egypt, led by Moses?
[17]Now with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness?
[18]And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey?
[19]So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
      NKJV Bible. Hebrews 4:12-16
[12]For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
[13]And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Our Compassionate High Priest
[14]Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
[15]For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
[16]Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Ask for strength and mercy to overcome your sin.

I'm worried that I never had the Holy Spirit to begin with. Can someone please give some advice? How do I completely turn my life to Jesus? How do I repent? It feels like I've never known Jesus even though I've been studying the bible and praying, my devotion to God has gotten really weak day by day all because of my own laziness. I thought that maybe the Holy Spirit left me, but now I am almost certain that I never even had the Holy Spirit before. I'm so confused and scared.

      @Andrea-hf8hl Год назад

Maybe what you need is to fear Him more. Do you love your sin or do you hate it? is there a desire to turn away from every wrong you have committed in your life?
      Proverbs 14:27
The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life,
To turn one away from the snares of death.
      Proverbs 16:6
      In mercy and truth
      Atonement is provided for iniquity;
And by the fear of the LORD one departs from evil.
Increase your faith and put your trust in Him. Let His Word enter your heart..dwell on it and meditate on Him. Ask Him in sincerity for His Holy Spirit. He says repent and believe. You need to turn away from sin and turn to Him. Seek His help in keeping you away from giving in to all sin. To handle any temptation that may come to you..cut off anything you are able to that may be causing you to stumble. Stay in His word and let the Spirit work on you to grow in the faith and to give you the ability to keep His Word and to walk in obedience to Him.

      Please read entire comment
Holy spirit comes from salvation. Believe me, I was once struggling with doubt, I actually still am.
What true repentance is, is a change of heart. You begin to feel disgust of lust, hatred of sin. Now this doesn't mean we wont like sin because it is imbedded within us sinners. There's no escaping it until Heaven. Your desire for the Holy spirit tells me that you are probably saved. Bible makes it clear the Jesus hears you, every thought, and he got the most brutal death in HISTORY for YOU. So, the doubt can come from the devil and that is something you gotta handle out. Trust me I cried literally cried to God to help me, he did in a way its hard to describe and he doesn't always come to you in a glowing white robe with angels as his bodyguards and through a portal in heaven, no. He helps you mostly in sneaky ways I notice in my life.
SO TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION: Turning your life to Jesus, means to:
      Get his desires
      Pray his Fathers will
      Obeying him
Following him (picking up your cross daily for him.)
The Holy Spirit NEVER leaves you because you sinned or messed up or have been lazy, otherwise all pastors would be long gone haha. I understand that devotion to God can be tough, but what is means is continuing in the path of God, we all fall down, we even dive into sin because we LOVE it. Its out nature, and we gotta change that. Another test you can test yourself with, is if God is in the center of your mind, does he control what you do? think if he would like it if you hanged out with these people today, or if he would be pleased if you fornicated.
      REPENTACE:
Repentance is not very challenging like people think it is. Ask God to change your heart, accept your a sinner in need of his mercy, and whenever you trip or fall into sin, go back to him, and confess it to him. That is how you grow your muscle of confession with God, the more you confess the more comfortable you are with God, but remember that God is... God. FEAR in God, but not irrationally like he will strike you down with lighting. Fear in God comes from respect. Not actually anxiety. God is graceful and forgiving and loving, and he is also righteous, just, and perfect. So my friend, I struggle with doubt quite a lot. This is what helps me.
1.) Take a nice warm shower, talk to God in peace.
2.) Get off the internet searching for answers and pick up the BIBLE! I still do this, I look around the internet and it can be good, and it can lead to rabbitholes and you can cry in fear that God condemns you.
3.) Pray that he may work through you, this can help a lot, I have yet to try it but I randomly came to mind and I think that this will work.
4.) Realize doubt can come from the Devil and from your own mind. And that doubt can propel you forward TO God.
My friend, this was a long comment. I hope you read everything but im not finished. I gotta clear something up that bothered me for a long time and it might be bothering you.
      FEAR. OF. HELL.
The fear of Hell trembled me for a long long long time and I hated it. I lead me away from God not to God. I began to Hate him and look at him with disgust. We must seek the truth of Hell and realize that demons don't torture you forever and ever in these dungeons.
FACT 1.) Hell is NOT eternal.
Jesus uses words to describe hell like "eternal fire" and "eternal punishment" but these all relate back to the souls in Hell being destroyed. Romans 6:23 describes the punishment for sin is death, and in Matthew 25:46 the punishment is eternal. So, the people in hell will perish from the flames (Malachi 4: 1 - 4, john 3:16 etc.) and they will be eternally dead, no comebacks. As well in Jude 7 it talks about the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah being consumed with an EVERLASTING FIRE, but of course those cities aren't still on fire are they? The destruction of the FIRE was EVERLASTING. Not the Flames.
FACT 2.) Satan and his demons are NOT in control of Hell.
The idea that Satan and his demons will torture people in Hell forever is COMPLETELY PAGAN. Satan and his demons will perish in the flames like everyone else because they have sinned.
FACT 3.) No one is in Hell right now.
In the book of Job, he tells us the dead are asleep and awaiting Judgment day. I mean, Judgement day has a purpose. What's the point of sending someone to Hell, taking them back, Judging them, and sending them back. It's pointless.
I hope this covers everything that you may wonder now and to come. Remember, Jesus loves you and he gave you his spirit so that you are his buddy and companion. You two are one now and it is forever. So what I suggest is talk to HS and respect him. And that God did all of this for........... YOU. Have a blessed day.

This doctrine is false, because though it is rooted in the power of the gospel, it neglects the law. In Matthew 13 Jesus declares that faith, like seeds that are not cared for, can be choked and killed. There are dozens of passages declaring the same, I urge you to study them. Wrong. That eternal life IS righteousness. The law could not give it so God gave it to you by faith in Jesus. Now you have actual righteousness as your nature and if you don't walk according to it you don't believe the Gospel. No, not perfection. There is some truth to judgment seat of Christ taking care of some sins. But to say that means one can go back to living more like the Old them than the new them and still be saved is not in scripture.
