Quick fix at on Earls bench …it’s run time !!! 🏎🏎🏎. I use speed square on flat surface and match tire to edge of square…but if we want our tires to last gotta treat them like full scale cars and rotate and recheck toe and camber regularly …

Thank you for video 👍😊 i highly recommend red or good blue loctite the pins and set screws at the hubs ( i always flatten the set screw with sanding paper and cycle screw/ unscrew them as ther is always shit there from factory preventing you to really secure the pin), it will destroy your stub axles, the pins tend to fly out with high speed systems like yours ( Xlx2), for aluminum hub carriers, i tryed the cheapest and its more than enough for the rear( not front, TLR or VITAVON best for front) avoid FID as you will not be able to use stock parts. Last, if you don’t drive on sand, boots can be deleted with no problem and run dry CVD’s 👍, thanks you again for all vids, Love this car 😊👍😎

I took a dremal and shaved the inside of the six lugs half way which gives plenty of clearance for any lug wrench
can't hardly notice when lug is on !

Earl I’m extremely disappointed with my set of Masher X HP tires. Both right side tires (1 from each pair) have multiple indents on them 4-6 on each tire. Almost like the air was squeezed out of them when they got glued. Running them at full trigger didn’t change how they are. Since they are sealed tires I don’t want to put any holes in the rim or tire nor do I feel like I should have to do that after spending $200 on wheels and tires. 🤷‍♂️ I hope your tires don’t come like that but I know at least one other person this has happened to. I reached out to Proline so let’s see what they say. Problem is I just want to run them. I got my mashers for the 👑 of bashers! You know the XMaxx!!! They’re not quite as light as I was hoping for but damn they look good!!! Great video as usual! 👊👊👍👍

@@curt-1927 I get that part and I agree with you 💯 I just don’t feel I should have to fix them before I even use them. Exocaged RC suggested putting a small hole in the rim and using E6000 to seal it up. 👊👊👍👍

I put a center locker on mine. It has a lot more pep in it's step and at the moment, not sure if I'm going to keep it. I put it in the other day and tested it, a lot more pickup, the hesitation it had is gone and it loves to pull a wheelie now. But, I was pushing it pretty hard testing it, jump a few small dirt mounds (very small), flipped a couple times, then I noticed that both rear axles shafts were bent. Got some new one's on order, will be testing again on flat ground to see if it was the locker that caused the shafts to bend, the jumps (which I doubt) maybe a combination of both. If the shafts survive on flat ground, then I'm golden. I don't do large jumps because I suck at that. No need in breaking it any more than needs be.

I guess when you’re running these huge 5 scale RCs the shear weight of the truck has to play into damages being done every time you have a bad landing…. Like you’ve said it’s all part of 5scale RCing…. Also…. I don’t know if I’ve said it to you yet but these MIP speed bits you recommended are just plain awesome E …. Hands down way better than any other bits in my toolbox…. Thanks

Once again I‘m sure upgrading the hubs will cause an other part to break 🧐 so replacing a hub is not a big deal- if this new one and the next replaced are breaking after very short runtimes I would test an upgrade ☝🏻 If it’s a few packs each I think it’s not worth the risk breaking any more expensive parts 🤘🏻

earl i just wanted you to know igt got the center support bearing put in the limitless that is a super up grade that is not cost a lot off money i think it was 11 dollars that helps the the drive shaft spin a lot starighter and easy to put in thanks earl.

Good point about some of the parts only coming in sets. In the car I’m building, I’m using generic rod ends in most positions because of this. Some arms are even traxxas on one end and Losi on the other 😂
    So Frankenstein.

Hey earl quick question, what software do you use to edit your videos? I can’t seem to find any that let me zoom in mid shot, like how you usually zoom in for crashes or jumps... gopros don’t have manual zoom and I refuse to record anything but shorts on my phone 🤣
