Yesterday I received my first watch purchase from Japan. Like you it was delivered in a few days by DHL. The watch was preowned and exceeded what I was expecting. The packaging was very much like yours except I did not get the watch in a box. However it was packed extremely well. I was very happy with the seller.

When you told us about you having bought a watch from Japan . I have it slightly wrong but Casio . Citizen and Seiko are Japanese and they seem to do okay Its just the way that most folk buy them that differs from the way you bought your watch.

I purchased a japanese watch. Wear it everyday. Only watch ill ever wear. Its a gem. An got it for under 300. I love japanese watches an culture. Would love to visit japan , but probably never will happen.

The Japanese are meticulous and care about what they do, that is why I have high regard for them and their history,

Wowow! I’d reccomend buying from Japan yahoo auctions. Great seikos there for like 1000 yen each (£5). Got an omega on there for £18. If you know what you are doing with a proxy and stuff it can be a great money changer!

Strange I never knew ik colouring did a collaboration with seiko ? Does the movement say seiko as well

I always package watches in big boxes as they are less likely to get lost in transit
