It's time to start the predictions series for the 2025 World Juniors, starting with Team Canada! Let me know, which players do YOU see making this Canadian lineup? And hit that like button if you want to see my predictions on other teams! #GravGang
OR, as an alternative, you actually don't throw your money away and potentially spiral into an horrible addiction (the later being the literal business model of that place, i.e. heavily addicted people). Just saying, that's also an option.
Will be a better team then last year and having 5-6 returning players compared to 1 last year plus home ice will help. Rehkopf is most likely a lock being a returning player plus having a strong year and summer showcase. Iginla and Sennecke showed good chemistry in the summer showcase as well so they might stay together. Canada could have a monster team in 2026 because of how strong this years draft was for them in the top of the 1st round. With most of those guys likely returning plus a draft year Mckenna plus some top projected guys this year like Martone, Misa, Shafaer.
Catton should be a lock and Rekhopf should be too. Rehkopf is an underrated one (Last year got ass minutes and produced...) He is rising a lot, and his development is being so good. + kid definitely knows how to score🚀 Caden Price is another underrated D too. Has good defense and is physical, and is a pretty good puck mover and playmaker. PD: last year Firkus shouldn't have been cut from the team, that was a huge mistake.
They should consider Matthew andonovski he was the best defensive defenceman in the ohl last season voted by all the coaches they need defensive defenceman
Can't wait for this tourney got my tickets for every game of the group Canada is in and the semis and of course the medal games can't wait and really hope Canada can pull through and get the gold
@@GravitehHockey Ya, I'm sure he'll be talking to his bro, Bedard before heading off to Ottawa...... From what I've seen of both McKenna and Bedard, I'm thinking McKenna is ACTUALLY faster..... What's your take on that Grav ???????
Michael Misa doesn't have a lot of love for the upcoming team but if he plays well for the first 2 months of the OHL season I think he's got a chance to make it on to the team as an extra F
Does he not realise that most of the viewers are kids or does he just doesnt care about them. Bro had been putting betting and gambling ads in every video, wow. Shows how much he cares about his viewers😢
HockeyCanada is as greedy as it sounds. I can't believe HC is selling tickets for games as a package from preliminary to final, not as an individual game.
Andrew Cristall not going would be such a huge mistake again, with no Macklin Celebrini he would probably be the most dangerous and skilled offensive player on that whole team, and as last year proved you need that element too not just decent two way players
Am I the only one who thinks saying the US have passed or at near minimum caught Canada is just flat out dumb Canada won back to back crazy tourneys which we one but what kind of world are we living in we’re the US win 1 championship and Canada disappoints once now there the champs like what let’s not forget that the US never even made the finals when Canada won those 2 just dumb in my opinion
Your correct. Mix of recency bias and people tired of Canada being on top (Winner fatigue). For example In the past u18 tournament were the USA has virtually everyone available including lots of guys who play together all year they still lost to canada who had most of their best players not available because of CHL playoffs. Plus look at this past draft and its not even close, USA had three guys in the top 20 and not single top 10 pick, were as Canada had 6 in the top 10 and 17 in the first round. Can also look at Hlinka gretzky and World juniors medal breakdowns. Plus no one can come close to the superstar potential that Canada turns out, Bedard, Celebrini, Mckenna, Dupont all in a 5 year stretch.
@@Buckwilder-ws1hq also we often don't have 3-4-5 players that are in the NHL... imagine casually adding a line of Benson-Celebrini-Bedard. US is very good but I don't see how they could handle that line lol. Canada will always have incredible depth.
@@gabrielnicolau862 exactly. For example, in the last world Junior people don't talk about how if each team had everyone available Canada would literally win every game by 2-3 plus goals. Potential first line of Fantilli- Celebrini- Bedard, plus Benson, Wright, korchinski.
@@Buckwilder-ws1hq exactly my point... lets switch up the scenario... take out Lane Hutson last year and their first line (2-4-9) and their number 2 center (Nazar). Now let Canada add Fantilli, Bedard, Benson, Wright, Korchinski. Oh also, Tristan Luneau and Molendyk were injured thats basically 3 out of the top 4 D-men. I really think adding 7 players including Bedard wouldve provided Canada with another gold medal tbh. Let any other nation lose 7 key players and you can see the results 100 %
bro is a closeted separatist. you found a way to include a grand total of 0 Quebecois. And thats like 20% of Canadas population and 100% of Canadas culture being ignore. Yeah they're behindpretty much everything Canadian things : poutine, maple sirop and french
I doubt Canada brings Yakemchuk or Parekh if you look at recent years Parekh is probably too small (Brandt Clarke didn't even make the team his draft +1 year) and Yakemchuk it's pretty obvious his skating especially backwards skating likely keeps him off the squad as well. Do I think they should be off the squad no but knowing how Canada builds their roster I don't expect either player to make it
I agree with Yakemchuk as its likely 7th defenseman or he's off. I think Parekh does make it especially because of his PP ability plus hes transition and passing game to play quickly and get it to the forwards. After Bonk I cant see 2 -3 RHD better than Parekh.
@@Buckwilder-ws1hq ya maybe based on history I'm not sure Parekh definitely should make it though, his offensive abilities should be too good to keep him off the roster

One name. Gavin McKenna
We shall see....
@jordanstreib3898 Bedard and McDavid both made the team at 16, Gavin is gonna make it
@jordan Clearly you’ve never seen McKenna play! He’ll be on the team!
@jordanstreib3898 we're talking about a special player here
If they were taking the best 19 year olds then he wouldn’t belong but they aren’t.

Yeah I debated putting Martone especially in the maybe section, I think he has a shot with the way he plays!
I think Hage could be a dark horse as well 🤷🏻♂️
Hage honestly has a great chance to make it if he pops off in the NCAA, he’s a great talent
Catton should be a lock and Rekhopf should be too.

Hage is way better than Luchanko lol
No he is not
A Habs fan here 🤔🏒
have a great hockey day guys
C. Ritchie was injured this past year, he wasn’t cut.
No Porter Martone?
Could sneak on the 4th line especially because of his size , but will be tough
Only if benson and bedard would play would be sick
Loves the WJC 🤝 Love ur content. Perfect vid pls do all teams.

Looking forward to the Junior tournament coming to my city. Cheers from Ottawa 🍁
I think Cristall has to be there. Swap him and Barkey imo
I like the 3 Saskatoon guys in the forward lines
McKenna just might be our best player when its all said and done....👍....
Wouldn't be surprised! Kids a beast!

This is depressing to see that no Q player is there, we don't produce much talent and it seems to get worse year by year
Desnoyers carboneau and guite are very good qmjhl guys for the future
Christall would be the most offensive player in the tournament. He’s also alright defensively
As long as Andrew Cristall is on the team they should be good
Stop the glazing
I hope they bring him, dude can be a WIZARD with the puck.
@@GravitehHockey for sure that offensive skill and production is off the charts and he hasn’t even been playing on good teams with good teammates
Is Schaefer not eligible?
I completely forgot it was in Ottawa this year. I work at the ottawa airport in the resturaunts, it's going to be a hell of a week 🤣😂🤣😂
No way me too what restaurant

I dont think Wood is a lock to make the team. Didnt impress me
Ben danfour and Noah Chadwick 3rd pair D calling it now
