I appreciate Rob Lowe's honesty & advice, "You could save money going to Stanford Univ. You can go from Jamba Juice straight to show business."...Noted!
7:58 - i’m 52 years old and I gotta say Rob Lowe looks freaking incredible. He is like I feel like he looks like he’s 50. And that’s how old I am and he was older than I am so this is weird.
Ohtani wants to pitch next year and I cannot wait to have that special part of his talent back! The narrative that he is hitting so much better now that he is not pitching is just not true. Despite missing the last month of the season last year he still led the AL in HR. His slash line last year was .304/.412/.654 with a 1.066 OPS, versus this season currently at .316/.400/.635 with 1.035 OPS. And he was 10-5 on a bad team with a .184 OBA. Nobody wants to see him get hurt again but he has already proved twice that if he hurts his arm he can still hit at a high level.
When Rob said about the Austin Powers movie that he realized in the Dr Evil Lair scenes that "he was in the prescence of comedy from God on High," I thought instead that God MUST have been HIGH when he created Mike Myers! And the Platypus, of course.
He was excellent as Sam Seaborn! Really appreciated his talents in that role. Sad he left in season 4 b/c he felt "undervalued" (salary not high enough). Hmm, he was the Brandon Aiyuk of The West Wing. 🤔
Rob Lowe fan, love his 'Battle of the Network Stars' references. I watched all of them. I'm really surprised that 'About Last Night' was his favorite. I thought that movie was horrible.
22:22 - I’m just going on record right now to point out that Rob dodged the question. Rob, the question was, how do you not break? We’re still waiting for the answer.
Rob has always been that guy. Good looking, smart and still looks young. I love how he threw Farley and Spader under the bus for fighting over him. Spader is a great actor but I could see how he could probably be a drama queen. I could listen to stuff like this all day when it's this entertaining. What a life to have lived.
Maybe it’s because we’re around the same age. Maybe it’s because of his longevity. Maybe it’s because we’re from the same hometown. I don’t know what it is but I know I really like Rich Eisen.🤷♂️
But let's be clear...the best role and character he ever played (by far), he ended up leaving because he thought he wasn't being treated well and wasn't getting enough screen time. That's always bothered me about Rob Lowe. Sam Seaborn was the peak of what any actor could ask for and he whined.
Rob Lowe is an absolute legend, great movies, great storyteller, and was an absolute swordsman back in the 80's! Great 30 minutes ......
Rob Lowe is such a cool dude, my aunt met him 100 times at a restaurant she works at and literally had nothing but good things to say about him.
Nobody has better stories than Rob Lowe. I just finished his first book. A legend in my book for sure.
Rob Lowe always has a smile and and is so great infront of the camera. Rob Lowe has the best stories
Rob lowe is such a person and I love him talking about Ohtani
LOVE the throwback convo about the Battle of the Network Stars!
"About Last Night..." is still SO underrated. Love that film
So do I! It’s one of my favorite movies of all time 🩷
He is consistently the best guest and best stories. His first book is awesome too
The guy is always box office, every interview. Has the best stories, you forget how long he’s been doing this
Forevvvvvvver
I appreciate Rob Lowe's honesty & advice, "You could save money going to Stanford Univ. You can go from Jamba Juice straight to show business."...Noted!
I truly admire Rob not only his career but his openness about sobriety.
Rich, great show as always. How in the hell does Rob Lowe look that good at 60 years old? The man is beautiful!
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar pitching against Billy Barty. That is hilarious.
The image of Spade and Farley wrestling over Rob (and a turkey sandwich), multiple times, is hilarious! "I'm the pretty girl" 😂
Two favorite Lowe movies: 1. Youngblood 2. Oxford Blues
Can't forget the Outsiders!!
Outsiders come on man!!!
good ones...i would add in about last night w jim belushi
Great guest with great stories.
I don't know how Rich so effortless gets the best humor out of his guest.
Because he gives the guest a little question, then let's them just go wherever they want with it.
I love Rob. Just watched a old TV movie of his called Thursdays Child. He was so young. And look at him now. So freakin gorgeous.
Love all Rob's actor drops. Billy Barty Legend in Hollywood. Did a lot behind the scenes for little actors.
Great show, love the nostalgia. Taking me back. LOL all the way through.
Enjoyed this so much.
Outsiders and Breakfast Club are timeless
Great stories! New Hollywood and old Hollywood he covers them all!
Youngblood anyone? I own it and love that movie. Rob is truly underapreciated in my opinion.
His recurring role in Californication was brilliant.
Fantastic "Battle of the Network Stars" review.
This was such a funny interview. And I'm old enough to get all the references about Battle of Network Stars, etc.
What a GREAT interview!

One of the best episodes by far
Welcome back, Rob! It’s been a minute!
Rob Lowe is a riot!
Been an Icon since The Outsiders, and he was awseome on Parks and Rec whenever he battled over heathly food with Nic Offerman.

LOVE the Who's Who of 1970s Hollywood😂
80's
Great interview!!
He’s like Bob Hope with all the celebrity references. Hilarious.
Rob is becoming the modern BOB HOPE, trippy.
Best comment “I’m looking these names up.”
Have him back! Great interview
I am absolutely LOVING the Battle Of The Network Stars material.
You forgot to mention Simon Sez... 😂
The spade impression 😂😂
I’m 54 and loving this!
😂😂 this made me laugh so hard😂😂
I got every reference! Hilarious.
That was really good!
Good stuff!
The Breakfast Club is timeless. Every kid in America should be shown it before they start high school. 75% would be less neurotic.
Rob, is Literally on You Tube now? I'd watch
I had low expectations for the Netflix series
Pleasantly surprised 🤯
😂
He was absolute gold as Chris Traeger from parks and rec.
I"m close to same age as Rich, and enjoy the heck outta these references!
“Shot of espresso” was that espresso white powder? 😂 Farley was WILD
Story-teller extraordinaire! Wow.
Can we have a TV series called "Conversations with Rob"? I could easily listen to an hour of Rob every week.
He does have his own podcast.
I just recently watched West wing he was great in that
He was excellent as Sam Seaborn! Really appreciated his talents in that role.
Sad he left in season 4 b/c he felt "undervalued" (salary not high enough). Hmm, he was the Brandon Aiyuk of The West Wing. 🤔
Great show, his son is great in it too
"I know a little German, he's over there getting pitched to by Kareem."
Top Secret!
He just said Gabe Kaplan!!!!
i just watched Saint Elmo's Fire this past Saturday. Great flick!
Lmfao @ me NOT finding any of the Stars mentioned were obscure!!!!!! Lmfao!!! It was a thing! It was amazing!!!! Iykyk
I used to love Battle of the network stars, Lynda Carter in the blue one peice bathing suit, it was great to be a teenager
I’m not turning it off. Love the memories of Adrienne Barbeau and Victoria Principal.
Class - hysterical movie
I didn't used to hate Ohtani.......but I do now 😂
Rob Lowe fan, love his 'Battle of the Network Stars' references. I watched all of them. I'm really surprised that 'About Last Night' was his favorite. I thought that movie was horrible.
Rob Lowe is the best and dammit, what is his non-aging secret?!
Sleeping with under age girls in the ‘80’s?😂 just kidding!! But he definitely did it!!
@@mariafrmdaBX 😱
what a great interview. Adrienne Barbeau
Ann Jilian - that's funny!
He does a really good Spade voice.
22:22 - I’m just going on record right now to point out that Rob dodged the question. Rob, the question was, how do you not break? We’re still waiting for the answer.
Can't believe Rich & crew didn't pick up on Matt Dillon getting shoulder on Rob and Patrick in that group pic.
They gotta analyze it like the coaches photo!
Rob needs to be on once a month at least.
Got every reference too.
Hope I never hear anything bad about Rob. He’s been a national treasure.
i just realized Albert Breer could play Rob’s brother in that netflix series. They look so alike lol
Real ish. Breakfast Club is the greatest
19:21 this story reminds me of Sam Jay’s joke at the Tom Brady roast about Chris Farley and fat famous white dudes 🤣
Tommy Boy is the best film ever made. There is no discussion.
Everyone watched Battle of the network stars for Heather Thomas,Locklear.
I was never a fan, but damn he was good in "The West Wing".
Nice Robert Conrad, Battle of the Network Stars reference...
My wife just watched St.Elmo's Fire. She thought it was dated in every way. She was born in 82.
60 years old. wow! "It needs a hat!" LOL
Literally
If only the great Buck O'Neil lived to see Shohei....
His sons are pretty brutal to him. It’s why he seems so humble. His name drops are my childhood.
No Rob!!! St Elmo is the best brat pack movie!!!!!
Barty was amazing in Masters of the universe
I'm 61 and get every single reference.
Im a Chicagoan and about last night is my favorite……..
Weird to think he is Keanu's age, both turn 60 this year. By looks I would have guessed later 40's.
TOM CRUISE = LEGEND 22:35
Maybe it’s because we’re around the same age. Maybe it’s because of his longevity. Maybe it’s because we’re from the same hometown. I don’t know what it is but I know I really like Rich Eisen.🤷♂️
Rob still looks young and cool.
OMG, I, too, know every reference.
If he doesn't pitch, then he's just a good hitter
😂😂😂
