I appreciate that the writers are happily completing their story and wrapping it up. Shows that stick around too long tend to lose their charm. That being said, I would love to see more projects by Jason and Brendan. These characters are brilliant and the story has been beautifully told so far. Really great interview.
I want to say with all honesty I am beyond sad that my favorite show of all time is ending. I understand it’s staying true to who Ted is but it’s a show that has brought so much positivity and perspective to my life. I am truly heart broken that today is the final episode. Ted Lasso 4 ever!!
“The good feelings” The world needs more Ted Lasso right now. Thanks for what you have done, it’s been a blessing, just know we all could use a little more Ted Lasso.
Ted Lasso was and is one of the best shows out there. It was warm, funny, heart warming and the writing was simply incredible. It wasn’t cynical, it wasn’t duplicitous and it wasn’t cliched. It is a damn shame that it ended at three seasons and I genuinely wish everybody that was involved in the show all the success in the world as we’ve been introduced to great stars in the making and wonderful comedians.
What few Americans can appreciate about Ted Lasso is how true it is to English football. And fair enough, people can’t appreciate football at the smaller clubs or what the culture is, but the show does represent that in a very true fashion.
Ted Lasso really is the show that lucked out across the whole board, the story of Brett becoming Roy Kent and Hannah getting the Rebecca job. I literally can't picture anyone else in those roles.
The show was amazing. Fantastic writing and acting all through. I laughed, cried, yelled at characters and fell in love with this brilliant piece of work. The last episode was FULL of easter eggs from the entire run. Great work. 🥰
This is awesome. Only correction is that the guy in the hat in Super Bowl Shuffle was the punter, Maury Buford, not the kicker Kevin Butler. The fact that I could name them both and knew which one it was off the top of my head 38 years later and I'm not even a Bears fan shows how huge that team was and what meaningless nonsense is cluttering up my brain.
Just last night at work (cashier, grocery store, southwest Missouri), I saw a dude that straight up had a Diamond Dogs t-shirt. (I checked, it was definitely Ted Lasso adjacent - "Property of AFC Richmond".) I handed his receipt, and said, "I appreciate you barking with us today," and went about my day.
Jason thank you.... I'm on my 5th time thru... after the 4th I got depressed a few days later and said screw it in watching it again makes me feel so Good🎉🎉🎉
I’m not sure the British use "the f word" in that same way, considering it’s literally the slang for cigarette. But that’s nitpicking, I love the show.
@@benholt06 We do. It's also used sometimes to mean a cigarette, but that's becoming less and less common as a usage, and it's definitely also the slur just like other places.
I often say the show Ted lasso is like therapy happening in your living room that you don't have to respond to!! When I'm deciding something I now ask myself what would Ted lasso do?
Arrived here after I finally watched TL to see what all the hype is about. What I found ironic is there is a joke in the show about Hallmark Movies. After watching, this show felt like one giant Hallmark production. Too much schmaltz for my diet. Yech.
Love Ted Lasso, and Jason seems like a very nice guy. Unfortunately, quality has dropped a little in season 3 (still much better than most shows), so I hope they end it unless they have a hell of an idea for season 4.
Ted Lasso season 1 and 2 were great, S3 is mediocre at best, more about side characters less about football. They forgot AFC Richmond was a character as well.
Yeah it’s a shame. You have all these actors and characters with tremendous chemistry and for some reason they’re kept apart as much as possible. And the whole Jack thing was TERRIBLE.
The first season was OUTSTANDING. It slowly started going downhill, but this season saw no fewer than three characters be given homosexual B-Stories alongside PLENTY of BLM propaganda. Just enough "Hey Jude" to not completely ruin it, but it is a shame that they decided to take something unique and worthwhile and turn it into mediocre pap for the sake of virtue signaling. It was KIND OF edgy when Dawson's Creek did it in 1998.
You say woke as if that’s a bad thing. You must be a racist f**k and a trump supporter. There is woke and there is too far woke. Ted Lasso is not by any stretch of the imagination too far woke!

Couldn't have said it better myself. I hope there is a spin off or it continues.
Same!! I think there are millions of us!!!

Ted Lasso got us through the pandemic - and we still need it.
Being from KC and a huge Ted fan obscure KC references are amazing! 😊
This dude is super smart & witty. Cool interview.

No luck about it love pure talent oozing out of every single writer and actor and people connected to the show!

Jason seems like a brilliant man; so glad that he's finally earned his way to success.
This guy Jason Sudeikis (EVERY time I hear or see him), impresses more! What an answer. Complicated but seems super earnest. Last Q. in interview.

I want more please ❤️❤️ Positive Reinforcement is So Needed and this does in the best ways . ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The sketches with Bill Hader as Herb Welch always cracks me up no matter how many times I watch it

What a great interview.
The creative comments and slipping in “and my son was conceived that week too….creatively from both heads…”
😂
Love this guy. Love his work.
I love Ted Lasso sooo much.
Jason A Icon & Living Legend Great Interview As Always Rich💯👍

Love to hear it!
Wow , such a talented guy, And only about a million different ways
The last episode where mcadoo went into the stands had me in tears. The episode was so good
I also love Roy's press conference

@@Linkrules7 Fair enough, I just rarely hear it used like that. I'm exposed to quite a lot of British cultural stuff, but I don't live there.
“Maine Justice” is one of my favorites.
No way Jose 😂 he definitely has some Ted Lasso in him! 2:27
One more Lasso, PLEASE
What a great bit of info about Todd Stashwick! He just portrayed Captain Liam Shaw in Star Trek Picard.
“Bald, blue, anonymous and silent” 💙
Please make a season 4!
I’m going to make something from the Summer Memories book! I have pale blue gingham Aida!
The $15 thing is such a smart thing tho
"From my understanding of how time works?... Dr Evil sounds like Lorne Michaels." Lmfao

Could Rich get famous "tv coaches" to sit at a round table & talk how real players & coaches have reacted to them after their shows?
6:00 abt recruiting Hannah
Surprisingly Rich didn’t say how Ted Lasso is a good thing for sports. Challenges the status quo of how athletes are programmed to act

Dang these comments are sad, literally having gay characters is enough to set these fools off. What a sad life to live.
.
I'm pretty sure Jason Sudeikis qualifies for the term, "mensch"......
.
Is he looking at a timer? So fast.
I could watch Horrible Bosses 2 every day for a year no problem. I can’t sit through one episode of Ted Lasso. I don’t get it, what is wrong with me.
Not everything is for everybody. It’s ok! I know lots of people that is doesn’t resonate with.
I loved the show but I’m glad it’s over. This season has been pretty lousy. Trying too hard with messaging. Just be funny. That’s where you shined.
It has always messaged, stop being manipulated by mean people.

Please, do it! Maybe a woman's team?
Ted Lasso is a strange parody 🤔
Dont do another season please. 3 got real weak toward the end.
He seems high as a kite
Big time
Agree with some. Dont need wokeness in every damn show.
Woke is only an insult to ignorant haters. To everyone else it's a compliment.

Season 3 has been pure garbage. I guess that’s one way to make a show end.
Lasso went far woke, got boring.
