We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!

I just got the Aventon Adventure 2 and absolutely love it! I take on OHV trails and it handles them surprisingly well. One thing I would get is a good shock absorbing seat and good seat pad to make the ride a luxury ride.

Hello! I completely understand your preference for step through e-bikes, especially as we age, it can become more difficult to step over the frame of a traditional bike.
I wanted to let you all know that I just uploaded my latest video on step through e-bikes on Tech Gear, and it's definitely worth checking out.
I'm sorry to hear that you don't currently have the funds to purchase a step through e-bike. I hope that you are able to save up for one in the future, or perhaps even find a good deal on a used one. In the meantime, keep creating content and sharing your passion for e-bikes with the world!

Can't believe that there's no Ariel Kepler or Wired(Wicked) freedom/Cruiser in this video , oh well I guess it's not the most bang for your buck E Bikes of 2023

    • @-TechGear
      @-TechGear  Год назад

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It's understandable that you were hoping to see the Ariel Kepler or Wired (Wicked) freedom/cruiser in the list, but it's important to note that there are so many great e-bikes out there that it's impossible to include them all in a single video. The bikes featured in the video may not necessarily be the most bang for your buck, but they may offer unique features, high-quality components, and innovative design that make them worth considering for some buyers. It's always good to do your own research and comparison shopping to find the e-bike that best suits your needs and budget.

I think my fat tire ebike is the best bang for the dollar I have seventeen hundred miles on it with no problems at all it has 26 in by 4 tires and a Samsung 48 volt enter grade battery 500-watt motor and five level power-assist with throttle the bike weighs 61 pounds aluminum frame it has a front shock fork it's a 7-speed shimanto the brakes seem to be pretty decent mechanical I can do 40 miies on the power assist three level and gear number 7 I think the Samsung battery was a nice surprise..... Didn't care too much about the seat they put on I guess you can't get everything right... My bike is a hiland Rock shark GL cross mountain bike... And total cost tax shipping handling was $900

I just found. 60 volt fast. For.2100$ why is it not hear. 😮

    • @-TechGear
      @-TechGear  Год назад

It's possible that the e-bike you found for $2,100 with a 60-volt motor wasn't included in the video because the video was produced before the bike was released, or because the bike didn't meet the criteria or standards set by the reviewers.
It's also important to keep in mind that price isn't always the only factor to consider when purchasing an e-bike. The quality of the components, battery life, range, and other features can all impact the overall value and performance of the bike.
However, if you believe that the e-bike you found is a great value and meets your needs, then it could be a great option for you. Just be sure to do your research and read reviews from other customers before making a purchase to ensure that you're getting the best possible deal.

All of these bikes depend on 100 year old technology….the very inefficient chain.
Where’s the v belt drive , mid drives, hub drives…that’s where the real e-bike excitement is.

Imagine if only 25% of people start replacing cars with these efficient bikes!

    • @-TechGear
      @-TechGear  Год назад +1

Absolutely, if even a quarter of the population opted for electric bikes instead of cars, it would have a significant impact on reducing carbon emissions and traffic congestion. It's important that we explore alternative forms of transportation to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and make our cities more sustainable. The emergence of efficient and affordable electric bikes is a step in the right direction, and it's exciting to see the advancements in technology and design that are making them even more accessible and attractive to the general public.

    • @-TechGear
      @-TechGear  Год назад +2

It's great to hear that there are electric bikes being manufactured in the US, and it's important to support domestic production whenever possible. However, it's also worth noting that there are many high-quality electric bikes available at a range of price points from a variety of manufacturers, both domestic and international. Ultimately, the most important thing is to find an electric bike that meets your individual needs and budget, whether it's manufactured in the US or not.

@@-TechGear I appreciate that considering I’ve had my Magicycle just a little over a year now. But I have also refined it for my needs. Added a 20 ah battery on rear rack. And have battery blender so I can get extended range. I’m looking to get larger controller 40 ah. And eventually add some batteries to a trailer to achieve 30 +- mph for a total of 40 miles with half that distance carrying an additional 40-75 lbs in cargo. Currently with 22 ah controller and low profile street tires top speed on level ground is 25-26 mph a little slower than I expected. But once I’m certain the controller and display are compatible (stock or not ) then I will take the next jump.
