Contractors were first contracted to build the hotel so no surprise it's going at warp speed. Later they were awarded the whole contract.
Think it will be a while before the cables change. Contractors say they will be mainly working inside to make huge concourses.
Good to see the steel work expanding.
We saw Everton and Nottingham Forest being bullied by the Premier League.
City are an extremely dynamic club and news is City are getting their retaliation in first by counter-claiming the 115 charges by suing the the Premier League. The hearing starts on Monday. Sincerely hope City break the Premier League politically and financially and sue them for every penny and spend some of it on further ground expansion as a visible reminder to the Premier League. At the very top of the new steelwork there are four round steel pieces, which are set at a slight angle from the vertical. Would those be the bases of the new roof cable pylons? Presumably they will attach the tops of the new roof pylons to these, so that the new cables can be raised above the new roof height. That would match the configuration for the roof on the opposite end stand.
Yes they are for the new roof cables , the existing cables are staying in approximately the same place as they are now as they support the east and west stand roof along with the current north stand roof.
How close can you zoom into the city centre from there?
