- Today me and Dad cruise down the Knowle Locks, towards Kingswood Junction, the junction between the Stratford Canal and the Grand Union Canal. But unfortunately, we can't go on the Stratford canal, as a lock has broken, which will take months to repair! So we must change our plans! But then we hear an alarm go off, from the boat's dash. It was the overheating light. This only meant one thing. A belt had snapped.

Hi there its Diane. I was down Ilfracombe with my daughter Amy for 4 weeks as she had a baby boy called Noah 4 weeks early do there to help her. Noah was in hospital for 3 weeks but strong now and doing well thanks 😊
@nb.silverfern1 that's true.Noah our daughters baby was born 4 weeks early and was in hospital for 3 weeks of that time. Mum, Dad and Noah are all doing well and I am back aboard Olive now.

The flowers on the bow are so pretty. Any herbs in there with them? I can not be certain. Lovely cruise. you do fly the drone well. Looks like it was not too difficult to replace the broken alternator belt. Whew! Good you could stop when you needed to do that job. Good to rest a few days.
We don't have any herbs in the bow pot but do have some on the roof in a pot Nancy😊

Hi there its Diane and this was a few weeks ago now and I was still down with Amy. Stayed with Amy for 4 weeks as Noah was in hospital for 3 of them so helped her out with him when she got him home as its her first baby. Loved spending quality time with them

I watch a lot of NB vlogs - and ive never known any other boater have so many disasters !! Why ?
Taylors bad luck and most of the other vloggers don't show any of the bad things that happen to them but we do. We like to show the ups and downs of narrowboat life not just the ups.
Narrowboat Life as it is, a rollercoaster of ups and downs which Josh portrays well. The drone footage, editing and Mother Nature make these vlogs a joy to watch 🙏
