My Neighbors runs the Adolphus Hotel in Downtown Dallas if you have a chance go in there. It was originally owned by the Anheuser-Busch Family and built by them. They have a piano in there that only two were made The other piano was on the Titantic

The guy at the bookstall you filmed Stephen was the legendary Robert Groden who was employed by Time Magazine to process the Zapruder film of the assassination. He has wrote books on JFK and Lee Harvey Oswald and was a contributor to the Oliver Stone film JFK. I'm absolutely astonished you inadvertently filmed that.

Ooh, that was Robert Groden with the microphone selling books up by the pergola - he was the person who presented the Zapruder film of the ssassination to the American public for the first time on the Geraldo show in 1975.

I love Blackpool , 'But Blackpool really needs every building repainted at least, 'The streets need a serious revamp from the front the streets behind especially, Can you imagine if blackpools tourist sea front was as clean as hear , The whole town would benefit, Won't stop me ever going but it definitely would be better for business and locals,' Blackpool needs to really clean up compared to other sea side towns , If only it was more cared for like some countries, or other uk sea side towns , It's one of England's iconic places after all. Gets some palm trees on the sea front Blackpool, plenty of other sea fronts do, Still love Blackpool ❤ definitely would bring in more if the place was a bit Cleaner. My thoughts on this is 2 shooters from that book depository no shooter from the knowel obvious set up not a lone gunman. I've been fascinated since JFK with kevin Costner came out brilliant film. Thanks for showing us around ✌️

Enjoyed that. In 2017 i was seconded to Nissan staying in Jackson Mississippi for 5 weeks. My 1st weekend i drove North for 3 hours to visit Graceland. My 2nd weekend i drove 3 hours South to New Orleans and on my 3rd weekend i drove 4 1/2 hours East to Dallas. This video has brought back loads of happy memories. Cheers Stephen ......

Fantastic trip. Will your stopover on the way back give you time to go into New York City. It would be very boring to spend all those hours at the airport followed by another flight. Dallas has some nice buildings and, yes, the Downtown is looking like Canary Wharf in London with the tall glass buildings.
I may stay at the TWA Hotel at JFK. Will see

A much nicer looking city than LA and San Francisco over here but the summer weather there is a right bugger unless you enjoy stiffening humidity.

I was thinking of visiting Dallas one day thank for the Tour but I keep Visiting Las Vegas love the Hotels the strip but I do go to Gamble I worked in the Gambling Industry It's mug game. But in Las Vegas they do have a Tower Anyway have a great time
I read the book called "On The Trail Of The Assassins" by Jim Garrison, the District Attorney who took the accused to court. It is a very deep book. The film JFK was based on this book and Jim Garrison himself played the judge in it. Kevin Costner played Jim Garrison. One of my fave films ever done about JFK! I also visited his sister's grave in Derbyshire where he visited 3 months before he was killed. He called his sister affectionately Kick, her name was Kathleen and she lived at Chatsworth House, UK, there are many pictures of her there! I could go on but I found it very moving!

Clean, green, trendy, arty, modern and well kept old. The real conspiracy is where do UK taxes disappear to because it isn't visible in our towns? Was that fountain place near the end at 27.20 in? That was also featured in Dallas TV series.

looks really nice there, i would be one of those going to the place were kennedy was assassinated,watched a few documentarys on it and i believe there may be a cover up on who shot him, i find it interesting.

I had the opportunity of flying Concorde to Dallas for £350. From memory there's airshow there and that's the reason why it was so inexpensive.
Sadly I decided not to go.
We were there just a couple of hours after you! You missed the Giant Eyeball which was right next to the fancy shop. Great video!

Excellent video Stephen. I have been in Dallas a few times, most recently 2009. I was there several times in the Army band I was a member of in the 1960s and remember the band bus going past that School Book depositary. But I've never seen the sights like you show in this video. Thx

I have been to that part of Dallas where JFK was shot. When I was there, a friend of a relative said that they believe there was someone on the grass and that there was two shooters, one of them being in the book depository ( Where the government say Oswald was, but many have doubts that it was him, as well as confusion over which window the shooter was in.) I would also recommend Lemmino's video, which goes through a number of theories on where the shooter or shooters assassinated JFK from.
Hi Stephen, The Red Courthouse building was a restaurant/Hotel in the 60s and it was discovered that Jack Ruby had booked a table with a view of the Presidents motorcade just where you were looking inside, if i find it in a documentary i will send you the title, it was unbelievable that it was overlooked.😮

If you go to 57:17 Thats where you were at the window that they mention of the Building ok. Lots of good facts also relating to Marilyn Monroe. Apparently, a bullet graze can still be seen in the concrete surrounding the manhole right ahead of you at 8'40'' and at 10'12'', thats Robert Groden selling books, THE ONLY guy to speak to about JFK assassination, one of the worlds most, if not the most respected resarchers who interviewed almost everyone before they died, from officers to those who worked on Kennedy and Oswald. great vid

“It’s kicking off in downtown Dallas”. A long way from home Stephen but fabulous vlog the city looks very smart and attractive. Not too sure about all the conspiracy theories over JFK’s death but it’s one to still ponder over. Great walkabout Stephen you should do more of these overseas trip vlogs.
