“We don’t have petty fights” .... proceeds to have petty fight about tacos on podcast. Peace and love friends. Lol
Hahaha!
Cristine is right. You should definitely check the bag before you get home to make sure your order is correct lol
Seriously, I always check in the drive thru, I'm so paranoid from getting complete wrong orders or missing stuff so often.
Once I ordered a cheeseburger with no pickles and didn't check it. They gave me a patty in a box. Just a meat patty 😂 ALWAYS CHECK
just happened to me the whole order is there besides they have me a chicken sandwich instead of nuggets like how
@@lilleeshy666 😅 that's awful lolllllllll, how did they make a mistake like that!? No one would just order the cooked beef patty oil?
As someone who works in a restaurant, always check. We won't be offended, but just don't check at the cash register cuz it holds up the line
“You big dum dum” made my day lol
As someone who works in a restaurant, always check. We won't be offended, but just don't check at the cash register cuz it holds up the line. You don't need to open each container, but at least count the containers to make sure it's the correct amount.
As someone who works in fast food, I agree! Don't check at the window, especially at peak times (12-2pm or 5-7pm) because it holds up the line. Just park quickly and check if you want. Then you can call the store (or go in if the place is open) with your receipt and tell them something was missing
as someone who's very anxious about ordering takeout primarily due to situations where I feel I need to confront ppl, thank you for saying it is no big deal at all XD
@@redvinesron yep, exactly!
@@LuciaLiArt no problem. I completely understand. I was the same b4 I started working @ this job. Honestly, I'm still feel bad confronting ppl but just I remember that I'm not doing anything wrong & I paid for my order
Can we talk about why there is i picture of tom Holland on the thumbnail i just suddenly realised
Omg same! Like for me being obsessed with him right now I tought I'm going crazy.
I wanted to see if anyone would comment this.
I assume to "spill the tea" lol
Probably because he's drinking from a giant coffee/tea cup. So Cristine/Ben are "spilling the tea" on their relationship.
The checking the food argument is what I get irritated about too😂
My bf hates it because he just wants to hurry home, but then he gets REALLY angry if we find they messed up the order. How many times have I asked to please check it???? smh
lmao
"we don't get into petty fights"
immediately gets into petty fight
These guys are an awesome couple.
Am i the only one that now looks at Ben's hair in the thumbnail thinking cristine must have to cut out all those tiny pieces of hair sticking out 🤣
You can always call the business and tell them what was missed (and have the order number/items/time going through) ready to tell them.
From a fast food supervisor, we put it into a credit book with your name&phone number if you don't want to come back to get it, so it can be replaced another time.
What I assume they fight about-.how much to save for Menchie's college fund
Always check the bag!! Otherwise, they keep your money for services not rendered.
You must always check! Rookie error.
I think that checking your order before you leave may seem like something obvious and simple, but some people have problems with it outside of just being lazy. My dad gets in trouble for this constantly, most often when we place a really big order somewhere, but when I go with him to pick stuff up, my anxiety immediately kicks in and I can't stop thinking things like "We've been here too long", "We're holding up the line", "We're taking up space", "This makes them look bad", etc. and I'd rather just take the risk that we may need to call them up later and pick up the missing items or get store credit :P Multiply this by 1000 for pandemic times making me want to get home as soon as possible.
One of the most perfect couple online!!! Wish you lots of happiness!!!
Stopppp, sometimes I hate the RUclips algorithm. I thought this was a new episode for a second but then I saw that they looked different than they do now and saw it’s just an ep from 3 years ago😭
My husband and I are in our 30's and watching from Western Australia. Are you our Canadian doppelgangers? 😂
There is 1 fast food place that I don't check the bag before I leave. Chick-fil-a
For me, it's Culvers. So far, they are the only ones who have consistently not screwed up my order. Anyone else? Nope, better check it. Even take out from restaurants.
Funny. Just ordered from them only in NJ the other day. Got there 15 minutes later. They said they didn't have my order at all. I had to give them my phone and waited for them to make my order right there and then. Might as well just ordered at the drive through 🙄
@@vaaance710 Chick-fil-a or Culvers?
@@danielleking262 chil fil a.
I am cracking while working because of the whole taco thing . I definitely can relate with her
She kept saying she only got mad for like 5 seconds. I would've been pissed the whole time until he went back to get the rest, lol
Ben. You have to check before you leave, at least to see that it's the right amount of stuff. Especially when it's tacos.
Please don't feel weirded out when I say this but I think you two as a couple are quite similar to my parents as a couple. Just FYI, I'm not a kid saying this I'm nearly 26. Lol.
My family and I attended a wedding of a cousin and during the reception some of the speeches were talking about how passionately they fought in the past (It seemed a little weird to us but whatever...). I overheard my Dad having a sort of deep realization moment and talking to one of my uncles and he was saying, "I've just realized that I don't think Miriam (my mother) and I have ever actually been in a fight before... weird. In 23 years of marriage (Now 26) I cannot think of a single argument. I think we just think too alike..."
I thought this was super interesting because I couldn't recall them ever fighting either. They'd get annoyed or frustrated and have little spats but generally they tend to agree on stuff.
I think they are so analytical and logical and they just think so similarly that there's nothing much to fight about. Also, if one of them were to drive home with half an order they're more likely to laugh about it or just shrug, It is what it is, then just go get the rest of the order.
Something that is interesting about their dynamic is that my Dad is the more "emotional" one whereas my Mother is pretty unemotional. She's not a sociopath or anything, she's just a maritimer from P.E.I and they're all kinda like that. I've seen her happy but not overjoyed, sad but not weep, frustrated but not angry. Out of curiosity I "forced" my family (including my siblings) to do an advanced personality test online because I was so curious. I can't remember what the name of her result was but basically it said that it's incredibly rare for a woman to be it and relationships are very difficult for them unless they find the perfect match. I think my parents really lucked out finding each other.
Additional fun fact: My Dad's younger brother and my Mom's younger sister ended up married too without my parents influence.
It's a general rule in life: Problems won't get solved by yelling at them (maybe except if you're 1984 Muad'dib), they get solved by keeping calm, picking them apart and working on the different little sub-problems one at a time.
Really random comment on the taco example but I always check the bag when I get fast food or something lol Just a quick feel around to make sure everything is there.
In the thumbnail Tom Holland he is my everything he is sooo cute🥰
And I love you Cristen and Ben i have been following you sense 2018 the first video i watch of you was the troom troom one and i loved you and you are a amazing person simplyyyyy!!!
Cristine was hangry. Lol
Sorry ben but you always check 😂
I’m going to have to agree with Ben, no one opens up containers and double checks them in the shop.
maybe not in a store, but, for example, in the setting of a fast food drive thru environment i always either check the order quickly in the drive thru or i pull over into the parking lot to check it before i go home because that kind of thing just happens in a big business. and it can be really frustrating to get home and see that half of your order is missing, especially if the restaurant (or wherever you ordered from) is far away.
Yea, um I do...🤷🏿♀️
I mean, you don't open every container, but you check that more or less there are enough for what you ordered. If half the order is missing then you can tell if you have too few containers
Tbh most of the time, I check my order in fast foods and there’s something wrong. I often find that when you order things in double, they don’t notice the x2 and only put one of it
Sarah Hardy
My ex would do that, b/c he's an Athol.
Just to be an Athol.
This reminded me of the Canadian South Park show, I’m not your guy, bro, I’m not your bro, mate
Ben’s a real Gerry Geirgich
Cristine is QUEEN✨👑✨
Apparently unpopular opinion in the comments, but I’m like Ben, checking the food seems like an extra step and makes me uncomfortable.
How do two of you eat ten containers’ worth of tacos?? 😆
I'm guessing maybe they had some toppings or other stuff in separate containers? Who knows. Tacos are something you can eat a lottttttt of, lol
Hey it’s 6am 😬
My question is were they tacos tacos or were they American tacos bc if they were tacos tacos what were they of ? Birria, pastor, pollo, asada, lengua, cabeza, tripa ???? Serious question Im very hungry and want tacos now 🗿
**by American tacos I mean Taco Bell hard shell ones
I love your videos Cristine but I don’t usually listen to podcasts but I clicked this one because of Tom holland in the thumbnail 😂😂🤣🤣 good clickbate right there (and yes I know that’s not hat clickbate is but it’s the only world I could think of that worked)
What kind of psychopath doesn’t CHECK THE BAG.
