This literally just happened to me last night and I have been basking in Karma Sunlight ever since. My Ex Girlfriend dumped me a year ago and was super selfish and mean about it and a year later (last night) text me crying about how sad and hurt she felt because the guy she is super in love with just out of the blue DUMPED HER!! I did take the high road and was super empathetic but secretly I was grinning the whole time knowing she was exactly where she left me a year ago. Would you really want to take someone back who had to test the waters of new people instead of working it out? I mean it's kind of like your their back up plan.
