I used to commute through Hinsdale. I really liked the old homes, but it seemed like a lot of them were being knocked down for large monstrosities that didn't fit the aesthetic of the town. That was over 20 years ago...hopefully the town leadership got things under control.

The village board never did anything about the teardowns, and it's still going on. Seems like half the village is new homes.
