They have really expanded the boundaries of traditional A Capella. They also do 1 take medleys that are astounding.

You really need to try Hallelujah next, it’s so beautiful it brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. I grew up liking Iron Butterfly, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, etc., but have become a Pentaholic in my old age (68)!

This is a very small but delicious taste of their amazing talent. I really hope you do more pentatonix reactions very soon. Here are some suggestions. They've won 3 grammys for the following songs...daft punk, dance of the sugar plum fairies, and jolene w/dolly parton. Some originals are sing, love again, and new releases happy now and be my eyes. also there is bohemian rhapsody (quite simply the best cover of that classic song)...the wizard of ahhhs ( a montage of 16 songs made to tell the classic story of the wizard of oz)...attention, i need your love, hallelujah , god rest ye merry gentlemen, you're a mean one mr. grinch, just to name a very few.....also there is an album which was recorded entirely in their own homes separately and then mixed together...they include home, blinding lights, break my heart, dreams, when the party's over. I hope to see more pentatonix reactions from you soon.

If you thought THIS was hard to believe, that they used no instruments? You're going to be blown away with what their baby selves did in a kitchen w/a $400 video budget. =D I know I still am!

You're going be a bit flooded with requests for more Pentatonix, I'm afraid. We Pentaholics, as we're called, LOVE our group. We are the definition of the word fan: fanatic. We're pretty harmless as a group, though. I don't even think we bite anymore. 🤣 Dropping into the world of Accapella music you're going to hear four names thrown around a lot: Pentatonix ( who you've just listened to ), Home Free ( a country accapella group ), Voice Play ( a fun and super talented group ), and Voctave ( a powerhouse of an accapella group ). Any of those groups are amazing to listen to. Some are a lot of fun to watch as well as hear. And, so far as I've seen, you absolutely CAN NOT go wrong with anything they or any of their members have done. If you decide to react to some of Pentatonix's older videos two things to note: #1) You're going to want to pause the videos occationally, if you don't you run the risk of copywright strikes. And, #2) There is a member you don't recognize, that would be Avi who left the group for personal reasons a few years ago. There were no hard feelings when he left, we miss him, we all still love him, and we're all super grateful for Matt. You'll also have a hard time recognizing Mitch and Kirsten from time to time. They're our two chameleons, their look is always changing. That's about all the advice I have about PTX, other than, perhapse, putting names to faces. Otherwise that no biting rule may change again ( I'm kidding ). Sean?????, I see you made it here before most of the rest of us again. How DO you manage that? Lol.

Here is another suggestion...check out 4 sisters called the 4th Impact. I would suggest starting with their cover of Hello. Aside from the fact that you will be treated to a great performance...there is the added benefit that you will draw there legions of youtube followers called Dreamers to your channel. Try them once..if you like them then listen to a few more of their videos..and then watch your subscriptions explode-:)

Welcome to the new world of a capella. Pentatonix and Home Free have rewritten the book on a capella worldwide. All of the suggestions for more songs to listen to are great. Pentatonix has 3 Grammys, one for their "Daft Punk Medley" (Daft Punk) which you listened to, one for their "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" (Tchaikovsky), and one for basically being Dolly Parton's backup band(?) on "Jolene". Also, try "Hallelujah" (Leonard Cohen), "Imagine" (John Lennon), "Bohemian Rhapsody" (Queen), "Mad World" (Tears for Fears), and of course, any of their Christmas music. For Home Free may I recommend their "Man of Constant Sorrow", "Ring of Fire" (Johnny Cash), and my favorite, "Helplessly Hoping" (Crosby, Stills & Nash) (and then a quarantined Italian Youth Choir's cover of Home Free's arrangement).
