Thanks for the video! My car dont have mutch live left, its tempting to skip the water pump. But if the pump dies before the car i will regret to not have change the pump when i do the timing belt now.
God bless you my friend.Excellent video, very very helpful! In my city many so called mechanics when they hear of japanese cars such as mine Mazda MPV 2.0 diesel they are afraid of working on these cars, after i've seen this video timing belt and kit changing on Mazda seems to be much easier(and not only seems,it is much easier) than changing on a german car,for example a Vw Passat where you need to take all the front side of the car out for reaching the timing belt components.
@@mechanicigor Man,it is unbelievable what i'm living now,i'm at the mechanic for changing timing kit and he is trying to remove the water pump without taking off the metal plate(that with timing marks)from behind the rollers.I told him it is not ok so,trying to show him your video,he doesnt even wants to see it,he is telling me that i'm not learning him how to do his work,IT is not possible to talk like this with a customer which is paying you,not asking to do the work for free.He is also asking for extra money(almost 1/3 from the total cost)just for replacing that rubber ring seal from behind the roller.Unbelievable!!!
That is unbelievable he shouldn't react like that in my shop customer is always right,my I ask you how much money he wants for changing the timing belt

Crankshaft sensor it s the one you remove down there?i have a problem with it and i have the same engine Mazda6 2.0 diesel and i cant find where is it.
That's usually customer choice but the thing is is the pump fails after certain time you have to pay the same amount for changing the timing belt again
@@mechanicigor i see your point, as this point of view did you change tensioner bearing ? Or idler bearing or just check them with your hand and listen, i didnt see them replaced new ones, just rubber and mechanic pump ? thanks
@@mechanicigor Hi, I broke the timing belt on the Mazda, as in your video, can the timing belt be replaced or do I need to check the valve HEAD? Thank you

A good tutorial shows how to remove and put the parts in the image and your video has many detours to see the change of strap, in short it is better to see the manual and not come to see you as you describe the work without doing the specific thing to change the strap distribution A good tutorial shows how to remove and put the parts in the image and your video has many detours to see the change of strap, in short it is better to see the manual and not come to see you as you describe the work without doing the specific thing to change the strap distribution
