Snapping the supercharger belt will not leave stranded. You can drive the trackhawk just fine, but you have use light to medium throttle to not throw a code. 2018’s suffered the most from carbon fiber delamination. Also if you compare a fully loaded Trackhawk to standard X5m and so on it is not fair, because the stock don’t have all the options the Trackhawk has fully loaded, and when you start adding options to the others, the price goes up really fast. I would also like to add, that the Trackhawk is a lot less sensitive than the rest.
I just bought a 18 Trackhawk with 35k miles, for me it's expensive yes but it checked all the boxes I wanted. I had a charger hellcat that was great but good luck using any of that power on the bottom end. Had a shelby, supercrharged s550s all with the same issues unusable power down low unless you wanted to ride on a radial and swap tires every time the roads damp. The Trackhawk and the Jeep SRT were never advertised as a performance vehicle by Jeep. Most people don't know what they are looking at if they see one. However Dodge on the other hand pushed it performance vehicles to the public. If the Hellcat name was used on the Jeep , like on the Durango. They would of sold a lot more of them.
My guess is that Jeep intended to make the Trackhawk a limited run truck. 100,000 dollars for a Jeep? I couldn't believe they did it. Where on the trail does 700 hp come in besides nowhere? I think the Gladiator will be next. Another 80 thousand dollar Jeep without the impressive numbers to go with it. 80 grand for a Wrangler because it's a pickup truck? I don't think so. Their sales are almost half of what they were when they first came out. I think you'll also see similar numbers for the Ford Bronco, if it ever really does come out and it's not looking very good for Ford at this point. If they do stay with a Trackhawk, perhaps they'll supercharge the 3.6. That's another very stout engine.
Yeah that’s what I’m thinking, some kind of turbo 6-cylinder for the next trackhawk. But you’re right this one was just too expensive and the other $100-120k SUVs are super nice and amazing machines as well (just with less HP). Jeeps in general are just so expensive brand new these days no wonder sales are falling
Visually, it's the best looking one. The rest are kinda ugly EV technology is going to be funny when the country's archaic Electrical grid infrastructure from the 1950's will Not be able to handle the EV Revolution. Need about 5 more years & build up the electrical grid infrastructure first, before releasing all these EV vehicles coming out.
Naw.... the 6.4 is a VERY reliable and also is an extremely well built motor for its power. Its a torque monster! everyone has different tastes but the 6.4 is its own thing... you aint beating it off the line if you were to put it in the same car and compare just the motors
Lmfao the 6.4 does not suck compared to the Ls or Coyote. If you check the market, dodge not only inflated but sold more than Ford and chevy in terms of their muscle cars. Why would they kill what's making them money? And the 6.4 is reliable. They are easy to maintain and keep going unlike the coyote which sees an issue every 7k miles but you didn't even risk looking at that did you? Ik the dodge cars aren't the best of all worlds performance wise but you gotta respect what they've achieved community and stature. The gt350 was given up for a mach 1 with a slightly less cool factor in hopes of regaining customers to buy mustangs than other brands......so they went from a 5.2 voodoo to a 5.0 with aero packaging and vinyl.....but get rid of the 6.4.....riiiiiighttttt

New eco euro owners of Jeep are certainly showed their hand by putting stop on performance Jeep GC for WL. Jeep going soft. Time to move on to another brand if no performance WL surfaces.
Jeep isn't going soft it's called the times are changing everybody's pushing for electric vehicles blame the EPA and The Cafe regulations for strangling these automakers with these fuel economy targets
@@Blackout_1692 it was fun while it lasted. But the E cars are gonna be even more fun
Yeah you’re right, that’s a good way of putting it the automakers are being strangled to comply with the new fuel regulations basically. Their hands are tied
I have 5 21’s coming in lol
They couldn't sell Vipers, now they can't sell Trackhawks. I'm confused as to why.
the price
@@sliding_by8607 Nonsense. Benz sells G Wagons all day at twice the price of a Trackhawk. Ferrari and Lanbo sell their overpriced cars all day for more than a Viper. So it has to be some other reason than price.
@@carycoller3140 actually. Ferrari and lamborghini don't sell that well far above vipers. The cars get returned and resold due to owners wanting more or less. Once you hit supercar status, the cars aren't even cars anymore, they are just collectors items
@@nyckae8587 In 2017 560+/- Vipers were sold, 1,060 total Lamborghini's were sold, and 2,500 +/- Ferrari's were sold. The cancelation article says Viper was canceled because it couldn't meet upcoming safety requirements. If Ferrari and Lamborghini can build cars that meet safety requirements how in tbe world can a company the size of Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep not be able to build a Viper that meets safety requirements? I think they just didn't want to put the money into it to make it meet safety requirements.
I hate when people think I'm lying about Dodge having some of greatest (if not the best) stock launch control systems.
Europeans and their doggy doodoo infotainment centers, am i right... 😂
Be real if it's not a demon or super stock then the trackhawk is best hellcat
A 10 Speed would of helped!
I hated how the interior of the Trackhawk didn’t look as nice as the SRT. It’s a Hellcat but they didn’t want to make the interior nicer than the SRT
??? They have the same interior.
Electrification is ruining the enthusiasts car market.
trackhawk be back soon.
Where is the video about the RamCharger?
It's an embarrassment, so they probably cancelled it.
Stelantis and electrification can go to blazes, and anyone picking any of the foreign crap instead of this beautiful jeep is daffed! More money than brains!
They will bring em back in like 5 years
No they won’t… the law won’t allow it. Dude even Lamborghini won’t be able to make another Aventador that is N/A and look at how many they make… the Mustang GT is already done alongside the Camaro…. You really think Hellcats aren’t going to be gone too? Lol sorry buddy, but sadly the majority doesn’t care about cars and just want “the most features” and care free drive. Electric is taking over and that’s it.
maybe itll be a fully electric thunderhawk
Hola amigo nery ruano
Where is a 2021 Trackhawk for 80-90k?
Less expensive, more powerful than AMG, Porsche, Lambo, etc. More macho than all of them. That covers it - price, power, cool factor.
That thing had the fuel economy of a lawnmower
As is to be expected with AWD and 700 plus HP from a supercharged 6.2L 😅
idk i wouldn't understand if they did ever let the Cherokee L have a hellcat if they already have the Durango hellcat
Dodge is now the performance brand so that's why they did the Durango. That and 3rd row.
They wanted jeep to be the suv performance brand and they kind of succeeded but it is expensive as fuck
Yeah no way the L will have a hellcat, it’ll have a trackhawk I’m sure but probably something 6-cylinder
I love mines too much.
Nice😎
🔥
My dream to own a hellcat myself. Screw all this ima have to get a electric hellcat. Electric cars are worse for the environment also
These things just break down all the time
All I can say is: I am SO glad I didn't shell out the cash for this... Now on to the new Zo6.
Whaaaaat the Trackhawk is cancelled? 😭😭
It was in sport so it’s not giving all the power
Who in their right mind would pay 100K for any type of Jeep?? That's nonsense, lol
Visually, it's the best looking one. The rest are kinda ugly
EV technology is going to be funny when the country's archaic Electrical grid infrastructure from the 1950's will Not be able to handle the EV Revolution.
Need about 5 more years & build up the electrical grid infrastructure first, before releasing all these EV vehicles coming out.
Why won't they just TT like ford does and give it a SRT badge. They should also kill the 6.4 hemi. They suck compared to LS and Ford coyote😂
Naw.... the 6.4 is a VERY reliable and also is an extremely well built motor for its power.
Go check out my 06 Jeep srt8! The OG
They stopped making this. Gas Guzzler.
Stellantis is just the worst
