The octuptarra (pronounced ock-toop-tarr-uh) tri-droid in this set is actually the correct scale. This is an octuptarra combat tri-droid, which is a much smaller version of the massive octuptarra magna tri-droid.
No man, for the small version this one is still a bit too big, and the small one never showed up in blue, so i would put a good bet on the lego designer having no clue in this case... especially bc the box art based on Christophsis, which only featured the Octuptarra Magna

The speeder bike reminds me of the quirky little ship I’d sneak with me when my mom would take me grocery shopping. I’d slap some figures and pretend that little ship or speeder was the fastest, most powerful thing in existence. Man, it’s a weak part of the build, but I could see a young person spending hours of imaginative play with it.

Awsome set super hyped to pick up a couple. Personally I love this style of "super battle pack" that allows one to army biuld both sides at once mabye Jan 2025 we could get one for the empire and rebels though it would probably only have 6-7 instead of 9 since it wouldn't feature droids.
I like the more evenly-matched stuff you get for both the Republic and Separatists for this battlepack. Also I would really like to have a First Order vs Resistance battlepack someday. Or maybe even Imperial Remnant vs New Republic since that's more relevant with Thrawn's return?

I also like the more dark/black approach they did compared to the blue or light grey ones they did back in the day. The speeder could be better, the turret could be a bit as well and the idea of the shield could also be improved more (since I’m clone wars we actually see clones with shields). The Stap looks good and the small octopura looks okay as well. It’s still a good looking set overall and I really hope they continue with these developments and improving their battlepacks. More figs, small builds are good.

I'd love to see a set formatted like this but with these things: -2 snowtroopers, 1 snow commander, Imperial officer in combat gear -3 hoth rebels, a hoth rebel commander with a mustache as a reference to TCS -An MTV-7 as the imperial vehicle and a rebel combat speeder, E-Web and a small snow bank. And another one could be: -2 first order stormtroopers, 1 heavy and 1 jet trooper -2 resistance fighters, caphex spy and ovissian gunner -A resistance speeder (similar to the 2016 one), An LIUV for the first order and a command post like battlefront 2. To add one more: - 4 random deathwatch mandalorians - 4 random super commando mandalorians - A larger mando speeder like the 2013 set, a smaller one like the 2011 battlepack and some various destroyed rubble builds to simulate the battle of mandalore
I find the fact that the helmet holes on the clones is making people avoid buying the set extremely funny for some reason, never seen such a petty fanbase lmao
This is probably one of the only battlepack where barely anything goes to waste, sure, you might not need the turret or speeder but everything else is a keeper. This set is perfect for clone and droid army building and I feel thst this will revive droid army building. This set has almost no flaws except for the seats of the speeder. I am definitely going to try and get multiple of these... 👍
the octuptarra tri droid you see in this set is actually the combat variant which if you google only stand 3.6 meters in height so this is actually pretty perfect scale wise for the droids (although yes scaled down a tiny bit) the one you're referring to I believe is the octuptarra magna droid which is the giant one which stands at nearly 15 meters tall, but overall amazing review and can't wait to get my hands on it aswell
Something i would've loved for the white p2 clones is a bit of battle damage on one or two of them (similar to the 212th battle damage from the AT-TE) but they still loom awesome and this is a top 3 battlepack for sure.
I never really thought there was anything wrong with the B2 super battle droids but if they are going to make a new mold it would have been cool for them to touch up the back side and remove some play from the shoulder joints. I haven't looked at them side by side but they basically changed nothing. They really showed that they can make great droid molds with Grievous.
Thank god for Mandrshop and GCC custom helmets I wouldn't know what to do without them 🤣🤣 Lego just can’t get it right smh, so if I have to pay an extra $2 per helmet for proper looking clones I’ll do it all day everyday
They easily could have done better by adding grey helmet gear and making that speeder bike not look like it's build from spare pieces but the set is still great.

The most bps I’ve ever gotten was the og 501st which I got 4 of. In 2 years. So I already beat that in the first 3 months of this year. I have 7 of these and I have no regrets at all.

That doesn't change the fact that it looks baad but at least that's an upgrade for the Gunship. The other stuff in this set is cool enough though.

Yeah man it’s been since like 2014, we NEED a new vulture droid, tri-droid, homing spider droid, hailfire droid, and tank droid.
I’d say the best way to fix the speeder is by putting the crate of detonators where the clone’s supposed to sit in the back

It feels weird seeing the shock trooper but not the 327th trooper. It's like it was suppose to be a recreation at one point but it just didnt happen.
Also a stap was included in the advent calendar 4:09

In my personal opinion helmet holes are fine accept when using a intenna, the helmets look very wierd with those and they fall out wayyy to easily
