I have a 2022 L4701. And so far it’s been a great tractor. Had no issues at all. Got remotes for the rear and am going to get a 3rd function for the front.
Almost got Me one of these "Rig's" 6years ago. Went with the MX5200, for the simple reason that the Loader ;the LA 1068 has Bucket-amplifing-linkage for WAY Better "rool-back & dump" articulation. ALL Other Kubota under this series ( except the "60" series) have DEPORABLE "Rool-back & Dump articulation CHARACTERISTICS"; including the BX's, B's,Lx's, & L's. Other Compeating Manufacturers in 90% of cases have "Amplifying Bucket-linkage assembly's" in their "small-tractor line-ups".l Like the "L series" BUT WITHOUT this "Must have-Feature" ,Kubota has COMPLETELY Disqualified Itself from my 25-35 HP tractor- Next purchase!! Thank you Sir for the Excelent vidio and happy safe tractoring. Best wishes with all your endeavours.
Just for anyone interested........the floor mat for the 4802 does fit the 4701.....just specify if it's the HST or Shuttle shift. The floor pan is different for each. The mat for my 4701HST took maybe 10 minutes to install. Perfect fit. And makes a noticeable difference in foot vibrations. Nice addition.
The MX keeps going up in price while the 4802 is going down, still getting more features. I priced them both and came to about a $4500-$6400 difference between 3 dealers. Just priced my 4802 HST at $31,500. Ordering tomorrow.
@@steeldriver1776 I bet you'll love that 4802. My 4701 has been fantastic. I love the HST for what I use the tractor for. No flaws. Easy to maintain. I installed a LandPride 3rd funtion valve myself. Took me about 90 minutes. Relativley easy and saved me about $500. I took my time and made it look profesionally done. I've since purchased a 60" Wicked Root Grapple from Everything Attachments. It has saved my sooooooo much time on clean up projects and obtaining firewood. IMO, this grapple is the best built on the market. At 400 lbs, it works extrememly well on the FE loader. Enjoy your new tractor.
@@joeyw4442thank you sir. The more I read and view about the 4802, the happier I get. Seems many are very satisfied. My budget was more the 3302/3902 and my want was more an M5400/6000. I think this tractor was a perfect compromise. I’m starting out with the HD bucket, a tiller, a grapple, forks and a trailer thingy - basically a multi use 3 point rig for 2 hitches, a hook, crossbar, etc. I’ll have to relearn tractoring all over again and most of these features will be entirely new. My grandpas old Ford had 2 levers, a throttle and 2 gauges. Still, I’m turning my property from raw land and under 30 yr old trees to fields this year. I can’t wait to get after it. I’ve gotten a lot of hate on the HST choice I’ve made from older gear driven guys. But honestly I want to keep my implements down, maximize my work time and not look like I’m directing traffic just to operate the tractor. I think the HST will be perfect for me.
Are the front tires on the 4701/2 bigger than the l2501/2 ? Curious because I’m thinking of upgrading for more power from my 2501 but would also prefer bigger front tires too
For clearing brush, grading, going in residential backyards would the 2501 be a better landscaping Tractor? Or is this 4701 with it’s bigger footprint and loader capacity be a better choice? Thanks.
I'm wondering if you could say the good and Bad on the 2620 Kobota 4×4 tractor with a cab and third function on the front and rear for a backhoe attachment and a grapple Loader with the Scide stear quick disconnect on the front of the tractor and I'm wanting a Boxblade for the Three point hook-up and a Brushhoge or a Mulching machine for the three point hook-up on the rear that would run Off of the Power take off from the rear of the tracker please could you send me some kind of a Brochure on the Ls2620 or best yet the M x 6000 Kobota Tractor OH yeah did I say anything about a Cab package with heat and Aircondison ?
I have l4701 I love mine no issues at all. But I do want telescoping lift arms. You have part numbers to update it to them. ? Local dealer says I cant or don’t wanna try. Thanks
I absolutley love my L4701HST.......it's the perfect size and power for my needs. Question though regarding the rubber floor mats, any idea if the mats for L4802 will retrofit the L4701 like the smaller L 02 mats do with the L 01 tractors? I'd love some floor mats for my L4701 but can't seem to find any that will fit correctly. Thanks
The ones for the other three new models are backward-compatible with their -01 counterparts, and the 4802 doesn't appear to differ from the 4701 in any way in that vicinity. So I would sure think they would work, but I haven't seen any video confirming it. I've also seen a few from third parties when searching for "L4701 floormat", but it isn't clear if they are still available.
@@DougDeden490 Thanks Doug.......I've done lots of research on the web looking for rubber floor mats that would fit the L4701 without requiring modification. Have come up empty. It would be great if the mats for the L4802 would be backwards compatible for L4701. I'll wait and see how that pans out. I appreciate your reply.
I have a 2022 L4701 traded my 2019 L2501 in on it and it has been nothing but problems from the day i got it i have been battling kubota for nearly two years over this tractor that the hydraulic filter is constantly full of metal the hydraulics do not work right and not work right from day one that’s even if you can keep the tractor running it has some kind of fuel delivery issue I have had to hire an attorney to fight Kubota financed price $42,000 that i regret every single day

It would be nice if you would would mention the PTO HP. That's one of the critical considerations when buying a tractor.

It's mind numbing how many different but overlapping models Kubota has. And different frame sizes within the same series makes it even more confusing.
I agree, but it makes it so everyone can find their perfect tractor! Just takes some work to figure out what that is haha
So are these left over 2022 models. I thought the L4802 was replacing this model.

How come no one talks about the seat adjustment in the back of the seat bottom
Wait what? Is there a seat adjustment I don't know about?
@@Elcostagus yes it's in the back like the ones that are in the front
Yeah I adjusted mine to my weight
