@@athomas1569 have you already started? The only way I know to get thicker locs with thinner hair is to make the parts bigger when starting. Some people combine locs but it gets tricky and I would advise having a loctitian do it

I love your process of breaking down the build-up and allowing the ACV to sit on locs prior to washing it out. I have to develop a tolerance for this process to get out the buildup in my locs. Gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous. thank you for sharing.
Yes!!! I’ve been doing this even when I had a relaxer and continued when I went back natural in 2013! This works so well with my problematic scalp! And thank u so much ma ma!! ❤️

I love love love the fact that the baby hairs wernt never invited to the party lol. To many people force the front of their hair and end up regretting it. They truly look amazing girl.

if you're having issues using just oil, try looking for a butter version of your favorite oil. I use only castor oil but in butter form and it works great for retwisting. No other foreign products necessary. Love your locs they are thick and beautiful

My bf's locs look exactly like yours and I used your method today for his first retwist. I loc'd them 2 months ago and that was my first time locing and today was my first time retwisting . Yes it is easier. It probably wouldn’t have work if I had extreme buildup tho. So good thing I don’t. And it’s cool that you’re able to get them professionally managed. I want to start 😫

Your hair is beautiful sis! I'm allergic to almost every hair product. But I've found that using a similar routine with just acv, water and oil works best for me as well. That castile soap is no joke! I add mint and tea tree to mine.

You mixed the castille soap with water in an applicator bottle. I had so much trouble using the giant bottle when I used the soap to wash my hair with last week. I have applicator bottles and didn't even think to use it for that purpose! Smart moves! And I feel you on twisting instead of palm rolling. It's just such an awkward angle when you have to do to hair at the back of your head, it's so not the move when you're doing your own hair unless you got mad flexibility haha.
Yesss use those applicator bottles! And I know. I still don’t palm roll my hair to this day 🤷🏽♀️ my hair still be looking good tho lol

Yea. Do the ACV on your scalp! Don’t focus on your hair so much at this point if they are still very new or short!

What oil did you use to retwist and do you not use acv after the dr bronners wash aswell? I heard your supposed to so your hair cuticles can lay back down as dr bronners is highly alkaline
I used madebysomi.com herbal gold hair oil and no I didn’t use acv after I washed my hair and my hair has been fine honestly
