So NO you do not always have to fight for love or fight for the one you love. Now, from what I've seen from polyamorous couples some people are truly fine loving more than one person & them all living together raising kids etc. Also there are plenty of people who Fight for shet that doesn't want them, or who seem to like them but then leave them later on anyway so consider that. Dating is different from a relationship, and neither is entitled to sex... If it's put that way then I get it and agree but Steve has a point. If in a already established relationship, everyone is allow to date and entertain others and seek out new opportunities, it seems like it could cloud the progression of the relationship. Accepted distractions doesn't encourage someone to make decision and be more committal, but can result in time being wasted.

I'm actually in a similar situation now. I've been in committed relationships and it was more stress than need be. Ive been with my current guy almost 4 years now, and just knowing there no pressure to get to a "point" in our relationship has been enjoyable. Alot of people dont understand it but we have an agreement and it works for us.

He was the one who initiated the open relationship but once we got close to 5 years I guess he realized he put himself in a situation he didnt want. In most situations, people dont like ultimatums and tend to break it off with those people. We live in a new age now. Back then, the traditional boy meets girl, boy chases girl, boy loves girl, boy marries girl is old to young people dating today. Now a days, men feel like they are the prize and feel women should start speaking up on what they want and making the first move instead of the guy doing it. It's so different now plus tons of people hold so many different standards. But I think what Shan was trying to convey is the possibility of being in a relationship with someone you consider your prime option towards marriage and starting a family while still exploring other options to really see if your prime option is truly right for you which is HER own choosing. Not all women do this so for the guy hes able to have his cake and eat it too so he likely isn't going anywhere anytime soon. years ago, when I drove a school bus, one boy asked if it was wrong to date more than one girl. I told him that it was ok as long as you were open and not giving the impression that she was the only one.
I actually feel that dating one person is best. The reason is if a person has mulitple people to get to know its hard to try to figure out who may or may not be right for you. If you are dealing with the one person you can have more focus on the one person and nine times out of ten you spot the right person for you or/and you can spot the red flags there are any and get out. Another thing people need to do is pray. Pray to God and ask for him to bring the right person in your life and keep the wrong person away from you. When do that, you have to really pay attention and recieve the message.
I personally couldn't be in an open relationship at this point in my life. But it's like with her she dont want to limit herself with just one love, shes a free spirit that doesn't want to miss out on other possible strong connections. Dating is different from a relationship, and neither is entitled to sex... If it's put that way then I get it and agree but Steve has a point. If in a already established relationship, everyone is allow to date and entertain others and seek out new opportunities, it seems like it could cloud the progression of the relationship. I'm actually in a similar situation now. I've been in committed relationships and it was more stress than need be. Ive been with my current guy almost 4 years now, and just knowing there no pressure to get to a "point" in our relationship has been enjoyable. Alot of people dont understand it but we have an agreement and it works for us.

He was the one who initiated the open relationship but once we got close to 5 years I guess he realized he put himself in a situation he didnt want. In most situations, people dont like ultimatums and tend to break it off with those people. We live in a new age now. Back then, the traditional boy meets girl, boy chases girl, boy loves girl, boy marries girl is old to young people dating today.
Now a days, men feel like they are the prize and feel women should start speaking up on what they want and making the first move instead of the guy doing it. It's so different now plus tons of people hold so many different standards.
But I think what Shan was trying to convey is the possibility of being in a relationship with someone you consider your prime option towards marriage and starting a family while still exploring other options to really see if your prime option is truly right for you which is HER own choosing. Not all women do this so for the guy hes able to have his cake and eat it too so he likely isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Hell it could honestly be a turn on for them both which keeps their relationship fueled

She knows what she wants and what works for her just as much as any of us. A person's choice is greater than your opinion. Not everyone wants it the way that's popularized on TV on in pop culture. Stop trying to fix something that isn't broken. Just because it isn't your way doesn't mean it's broken or doesn't work. There are so many paths to happiness and successful relationships. Too many people develop their "relationship goals" based on what they see instead of what they want. She knows what she wants and that's clear.

years ago, when I drove a school bus, one boy asked if it was wrong to date more than one girl. I told him that it was ok as long as you were open and not giving the impression that she was the only one.
I actually feel that dating one person is best. The reason is if a person has mulitple people to get to know its hard to try to figure out who may or may not be right for you.
If you are dealing with the one person you can have more focus on the one person and nine times out of ten you spot the right person for you or/and you can spot the red flags there are any and get out.
Another thing people need to do is pray. Pray to God and ask for him to bring the right person in your life and keep the wrong person away from you. When do that, you have to really pay attention and recieve the message.

I've never dated multiple people as well. However I'm starting to think it's not a bad idea, that way you don't get emotionally to attached and worry about why this person didn't text you a certain time or whatever.
