  • This is a review of Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue. Released in 1999 for the PS1, N64, PC and Dreamcast, developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Activision and Disney Interactive.
Toy Story is a very special series to me, having grown up in the 90s, being a huge fan of animation and being a bit of an introvert who loved playing with toys, the films really appealed to me and have stuck with me through my childhood to become some of my favourite films of all time even today.
Of course, I was also an avid fan of video games too, with my console of choice being the original PlayStation, so you can imagine how excited I was to get my hands on the Toy Story 2 video game for my favourite console. At the time I loved every second of it and I remember it being such an incredible experience being able to explore and interact with the locations from the film.
We all know that the films have aged incredibly well and are still as relevant today as they were back when they released, but can we say the same thing about the video game? Well let's take a look and find out!
