There is also a Scooby Doo point & click adventure for the Sega Mega Drive. It has the spirit of the series and looks like something from Lucas Film Games in terms of presentation. It even has the iconic door chase scene. It's pretty enjoyable overall.
By all means, take a look at it. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Especially the slapstick in this one. Alas it also has some convoluted puzzles, and it's actual SCUMM-ish point and click with a D-pad. But it actually controls pretty well and you can also move freely. Your video made me take a look at the GBC game btw. And I must say, I'm impressed what they managed to do with the limitations. I really like the GUE Story System concept.
I'm glad to hear it - I still think it's a bit underrated, despite it's issues. And I will try to play Scooby-Doo Mystery one day too by the way! Thanks for watching.
To make a good scooby doo game you must make sure there a hub world or something where you drive to the location in an open world to the level where you could replay by going back there and looking for clues choosing to play as all the characters and having to do puzzles must be long
Nah id say Night Of 100 Frights is definently the best......the ONLY problem i had with it is how dark the lighting was and i cant really complain since it was made in 2002
I love Scooby Doo and I think the two best games are Night of 100 Frights and Mystery Incorporated. Night of 100 Frights pulls monsters from a couple of the different series, the game looks good enough for when it came out, the games setting and world are very true to the series, The game being a platformer also suits he series. Scooby plays well and the story is good. Mystery Mayhem is more subtle with the monsters with a few that are completely different from the ones seen in Night of 100 Frights and the show. The story has more depth in Night of 100 Frights, there’s more involvement from the Fred, Velma and Daphne and each level is completely seperate from the previous one which pays homage to the show.
Picked up this game because of this video. Really liked this game. It was short, but cheap and fun. Some puzzles were kinda lame, but some were really fun and funny. The sausage puzzle was a favorite of mine
My personal favorite was Scooby Doo Mystery Mayhem. I enjoy Classic Creep Capers, Cyber Chase and Night of 100 Frights (the only other three I've played so far), but I just find Scooby Doo Mystery Mayhem to be too good.
@@wbtydinasour3311 I fully agree, and with Activision remastering a few of there old IPs, maybe just maybe... They might. I hope they will though, it has it's kinks and I'd love for them to add some bonus content with the possibility of some Scooby DLC
I've played so many Scooby games, and been so disappointed with many of them. But, I totally agree with you here. This was probably one of my favorites! I really wish we could see a new point and click Scooby adventure today. It could look as nice and classic as the actual cartoon.
Great video once again! I really like your review type videos, I hope to see more of them in the future. Retro news roundup is great, but sometimes I miss your regular videos :( And is it a follow up video to this one I smell?
Yeah, I prefer these types too tbh - I've just gotten lazy. Thanks for your kind words though, and hopefully I can start cranking them out a bit more regularly from now on. Also, regarding the ending....stay tuned!
I prefer scooby doo mystery Blake's hotel (I played on genesis but there is a SNES version as well) generally same play style as this one but much better graphics.
Scooby Doo on the CDI was the best Scooby Doo game, wait what? It doens't exist? Oh all right, in that case Mystery Mayhem on the PS2/GC/Xbox is a pretty fun game. Solid 3d platforming with Luigi's Mansion type ghost catching

I will have to check that out - I think a point and click style adventure is definitely the right way to go when it comes to Scooby-Doo games.

The best is Night of 100 Frights.
WRONG! it’s 100 Frights.

Great video as always. You are the only person on YT who really care about those old and forgottend Game Boy titles. Cheers.
No problem - thanks for watching, I really appreciate it

I'll have to check those out, thanks for the tips!
Same there. I used to play them all the time on my PS2.
Loved that Zero Escape music
I’m glad someone else loves the very awesome GBC Classic Creep Capers! It really outshined a lot of Scooby games, despite being an older game.
We need more Gameboy Advance reviews! Have you ever played Rayman Advanced? That was my favourite when I was a wee child :)
Picked up this game because of this video. Really liked this game. It was short, but cheap and fun. Some puzzles were kinda lame, but some were really fun and funny. The sausage puzzle was a favorite of mine
Good choice, but my favorite has to be Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase (though it was a RIDICULOUSLY difficult game)
My personal favorite was Scooby Doo Mystery Mayhem. I enjoy Classic Creep Capers, Cyber Chase and Night of 100 Frights (the only other three I've played so far), but I just find Scooby Doo Mystery Mayhem to be too good.
Mystery mayhem gives me the dark open world, spooky tone of a true scooby game
To me , only Night of 100 frights rivals it, which is in a close second
Cyber Chase was awesome, but had no right to be as difficult as it was.
I thought this video would go over each game and say what is the best for each system or generation of systems
Sorry!
Would "Scooby Doo Unmasked" be the best console title Scooby Doo had?
My favorite Scooby-Doo games are either 1st frights or the spooky swamp
I reccomend on checking out night of 100 frights
Ford Prefect they need to remaster this beauty for the next generation

I only have one question, how has no one hacked this and converted it to become "Clocktower: GBC Version:
and thus the search for a truly good Scooby-Doo Game continues
PS1 Cyber Chase is good because I really enjoy banging my head against a brick wall
I used to have that one

Mystery mayhem won’t disappoint
The only issue is that it’s a bit short

Scooby-Doo Unmasked (PS2) is the best game of Scoob for me.
I prefer scooby doo mystery Blake's hotel (I played on genesis but there is a SNES version as well) generally same play style as this one but much better graphics.
Imagine LA noire gameplay and Scooby doo setting
Thats amazing lol
What do you think about Scooby Doo CyberChase?
I've not played enough of it to judge tbh, do you rate it?
First frights was the best imo
Scooby Doo on the CDI was the best Scooby Doo game, wait what? It doens't exist? Oh all right, in that case Mystery Mayhem on the PS2/GC/Xbox is a pretty fun game. Solid 3d platforming with Luigi's Mansion type ghost catching
You should rename yourself CD-iOfMyHouse
Every word here is greatness , every single one
Does noone like Scooby Doo First Frights?
nice work !
Thanks bro
I bought this game only because of this review.
Good to hear - let me know what you make of it!
The Sega Genesis game is much better than this game.
