You could have shorten the video, or make a full list at the start.
meanwhile, it takes my pc 4-5 minutes to load rdr2
Will the "changing between games" features only be available for digital games? That's the best part for me
Most likely, I can't see them being able to swap disc install games like that without the disc, you'll most likely have to get up and install the disc to confirm proof of ownership ect and then crack on
Right now your disc is more a key than a storage.
Quick resume will still work, you just need to swap disks. That seems like the tune to me.
🔥🔥🔥 Xbox over sony ! especially this gen !
You know SSD on the PS5 is actually 2x faster ?
@@Ryuuko3 and 2 times weaker than the X 😎😎
PlayStation over Microsoft especially this generation! No one is buying your sh!tbox

Black Athena you’re sad
Glad to see everyone will be able to enjoy ssd speeds now. I have never been able to use a HDD again after switching to an SSD in my pc years back. On an nvme SSD now and love it. Every gamer needs an SSD!
Xbox Series X is about 3 or 4 seconds slower than my PC on loading rdr2 that's pretty damn good for a console
Yeah it’s really good and the PlayStation is two times faster which is pretty crazy. The future is looking pretty cool so far lol
@@mayorotter in ps5 it will take like 1or 2 seconds to be in game lol
Ps5 is like 10 times faster than his pc
@@ArjanTV sad how the narrative changes every year. Now that the more popular console being the PlayStation is less powerful than xbox this year, people want to focus on load times. I'd rather wait five minutes for a game to load but play a better looking game instead of load in one second and play with less impressive graphics.
@coffeeHolicGames specs plz
@@indefatigableargonaut bro ps 5 isnt just about loading fast..its a fast console in general .. thsy will take advantage of that ... in future games wont be created the same as they did last generations and this current generation... just wait till pc apply the ps5 techology and you will.see what im talking about ..
And nope you are wrong i dont think you prefer 5second instead of 1... now imagine you open your console desk click on the game and boom you are in the game menu in less than a secone.. then click again and you are playing the game... that is so amazing... expecally for people like me who are busy all day and the time is very short for games!
And no xbox wont have better ghrapics than ps5 lol forget that.
It might run the older games with more fps though!
But new games ps5 will kill xbox b3cause they will use the super fast techology advantage and their games will look so good compared to xbox
I really like the soft music in the beginning when ffxv is loading :o btw since these games aren't optimized for the new ssd tech they implemented these look like normal PC ssd speeds (SATA infact not even nvme)
quick tip
I just realized u can just press the right arrow key on the keyboard to skip the loading time
WAIT Wut?!

Xbox Series X: 38 seconds
Xbox One X: 2:08

Literally just saw a video on GTA 5 loading on SXS and it was 34 seconds from booting up the game completely, and 5 seconds of load time on the loading screen itself it was insane when I saw it and if you've ever played GTA5 you would know how crazy of an improvement that is. Video by stallion83 I believe the channel was called
You need test gta online session loading
Yeah lol
dont think it will make much diffrentse with online beacuse its based on your internet speed/rockstar servers, not hard drive 🤔
That load time of RDR2 in xbox one x is insane. My ps4 take half of that time loading this game.
Do you mean 'double' the time?
@@DrMcMoist no. I can confirm that the ps4 load speeds are indeed faster
My bad. I thought he was talking about the load times on the Series X.
I hope I can get one in the uk when they ship more
I had everything planned out with browsers open on my pc and phone and barely got one at target in the us. I was on Walmart the second it went live and by the time i got to the checkout they were sold out. And i had to buy a ps5 bundle to get a ps5 preorder but it came with 2 games i wanted anyway spiderman mm ultimate and demon souls plus a extra controller for a little over $700. Best of luck with finding one im sure you’ll have 1-2 more chances hopefully before launch. All these preorder and launches lately have been crazy i tried to get a 3080 founders thats like seeing a unicorn.
I'm a long time console gamer, but during lockdown built a gaming rig with a NVMe SSD and have played a few games I would normally play on console on my PC. It's been eye opening when it comes to load times. Glad to see the consoles go SSD finally; if they had yet again gone with 5400RPM HDD's, I wouldn't bother.
These games were designed to have loading screens. 80% of games next gen won't even have loading screens Im sure
loading time was kind of why i’m not interested in those big titles but now i’m interested
Ghost of Tsushima is already playing when you turn on a ps5 without selecting it
OK so it's twice as fast at loading, but what happens when next gen games take twice as long to load as last gen then it's the same
Is Xbox series X faster than ps5?
Edit: and will red dead redemption 2 be on 4k 60fps on both consoles(ps5 and Xbox series X)?
@PotBoyz niiiiiice
The SSD isnt
The ps 5 has faster ssd
No, the PS5 is 129% faster
PS5 SSD 5.5GB ... 8-9GB compressed
Xbox SX SSD 2.4GB... 4.8GB compressed
@@venix6473 wow impressive
Excited to see how different ps5’s loading time gonna be
Not by a lot. People think it is going to be twice as fast or more when that is not the case. We have already seen how PCIE 3 SSDs faired up against PCIE 4 SSDs which were being touted as much faster than Gen 3. This was on Linus's video by the way.
@@ItsJust_Sins it's actually by alot 🤦, the kraken tech inside of the ps5 architecture will double even more up 9.4gb/s
@@domzzcardzz7985 You will be disappointed in the minimal difference in load times when playing a game then. Zlib + BCPack is much more efficient with texture compression than Kraken. Zlib alone is more efficient than Kraken alone. Kraken combined with something else is more efficient than Zlib alone. Zlib with something else is more efficient than Kraken no matter what Kraken is combined with so it is more of so used to cover ground. Raw numbers do not mean anything. The Evo 970 is several times faster than the Evo 860 (550MB/s) . The Evo 970 is a Nvme M. 2. With 3500MB/s. For the most part the only real difference in speed you see is when downloading files. If we are talking games the Evo 860 beats the Evo 970 at times possibly due to having more storage.

How does one x load red dead in 2 minutes?😱 My one s loads the game in 1:15 and it's less powerful😕
And it depends on how full the hard drive is
@ImViruxx makes sense
That’s crazy red dead redemption loaded so fast. that’s one reason I hated booting up cause it took so long to load by the time it was done I was frustrated.
We don't care how early you got to the video
You need to go back and redo the time comparison for RDR2. I wondered why people were saying your time and IGN's times are so far apart. While it still shouldn't make a 27 second difference, your time is still off for it since you start the clock after the game has already started loading. Appreciate the work still, just pointing out and error.
Impressive, and the PS5 is even faster. Next-gen is exciting
Ps5 is gonna be more faster Xbox is gonna be more powerful
Nah 0.00001 faster, dont expect much. But the Series X is indeed way more powerfull than the ps5
Around 17% thats not much. Original ps4 was around 47% more powerfull than the 1st xbox one. And did xbox one games look that bad no not at all.
Can you talk about the capture features? Do we still need capture cards for good 4K 60 capture?
Pretty fast :)
Why the hell did you compare loading times of different saves? Like Control- of course it takes much more time to load the whole Bureau than the void.
