Love the 4 Xbox generations - especially the first two. My gaming setup now just consists of a Series X, a 360 RGH and a 360 Stock. The Series X has a lot of backwards compatibility on its own and plays all Series and Xbox One games. The 360 can play all the missed 360 games and half the OG Xbox library - but that is increased if you mod it and whitelist every game. The final part is to download dev mode for Series X and play all the OG Xbox cross-platform games using XBSX2 or Dolphin so you can get 4K, better textures, increased framerates and encounter less bugs than with the 360 emulator. The 2nd stock Xbox is used to sync my profile to Xbox live, post the achievements and back up saves to cloud.
Get Dev Mode for one off $20.00, install Xenia, play a lot of 360 games that aren't backwards compatible and even boost some of them (higher res, 60fps patch etc) and also play everything up to Wii/PS2 console and handheld wise, apart from OG X-box. Also, they just made a wrapper for open GL, so now you can use the SEGA Model 3 arcade emulator now, and emulators for other systems that don't used Direct X are now only an inevitability away, so we should soon have OG Xbox and PS3 emulators on there, hopefully Switch and Teknoparrot (for all those modern power PC arcade games) will follow now emulators don't need to use Direct X to run on dev mode.
Love it man, so many great GAMES and VAST library, and even NEW games, and classic games BOOSTED. sick. I can't wait for future game pass additions and XBOX games. Good roadmap
@@YTWAP hell Yes, Ps1-Ps2, PSP, I'm actually playing PSP x3 resolution on my phone emulation + GameCube and new games streaming Xbox Game Pass Geforce But I also Love playing on my big rig Screen XSX or SS and playing native big screen gaming or even on monitor. Fun, I love Xbox this generation, just a couple more BIG BIG title hits, Fable, Gears of WAR, Indy, Avowed, Halo 7, Age Myth R, World of Warcraft? Interesting upcoming games.

I bought 3 mint 360 games that I’ve been wanting for a long time . Two of them didn’t work on it nor on my Xbox One. Very disappointed, I won’t be getting anymore I’ll just stick with the PS3 version instead. That’s what I prefer more anyway.
To whoever reads this comment, these are the games that I’d suggest (Xbox, X360, XOne): NieR series, Ninja Gaiden, Splintercell Blacklist, AC Ezio Series, Bully, GTA 4, Rayman series, COD series, Black.
Dead Space 1-3 look absolutely amazing on series x. I played through and finished the first 2 so far. Looks so good on the series x. So many games scream replay! I love my Series X. Re enjoying So many Xbox memories.

So, it's a great console. It plays all Xbox One games, over 600 Xbox 360 games and around 63 original Xbox games. It plays these all through backwards compatibility and many games look and play better just because it's better hardware. So, in my opinion it's a great console.

I really like the idea of a console letting you play older games. As the years go on the older consoles can fall apart and not work. My old PS3, Original Xbox, GameCube, and Sega Dreamcast have all stopped working and as I don't have the skills to fix them myself I had to get rid of them. I can however understand Sony's stand on backwards compatible games. The polygon games on PS1 really have not aged well and not really sure people would really like to play that anymore. I mean I tried playing N64 after playing the Nintendo Wii and it was really horrible by comparison. But in truth SNES games still look great and if Nintendo would they could put several on Switch and it would sell like crazy. Waiting for Lufia 1&2 remastered on Switch.
A lot of these resolution boosts are just because the Series X uses the One X code, and tons of games are full 4K on One X, and only 1800p checkerboard (so only half the pixels of actual 1800p) on PS4 pro, so look substantially better than the PS5 playing them in back compat if you compare something like Neir Automata. Plus on X-Box some of them have FPS boost as well. Also, every OG X-Box game on back compat runs at 1920p, it's not like 360 back compat where only a few are 4K, it's all of them. Panzer Dragoon Orta looks like a modern game with bad baked lighting, but you need to get the 2 Otogi games, DOA 3 and Ultimate, Crimson Skies and the star wars starfighter games on there because they look amazing at that resolution, and all those I mentioned are at locked 60fps as well.
When you start it up next time, clear and quick resume games, hold the power button til it fully shuts down and unplug it for 30 seconds... It clears out the cache... It can happen over time, especially if you have a huge collection of games... I have over 500, so I have to periodically do that, then everything is back to running nice and smooth...
How so? There's people in 2024 that are looking to buy a Series X. Figured it'd be fun to point out a huge advantage it has over everything else this generation.

I was always a PlayStation Guy mainly, but had the 360 in the past which I loved. So it's honestly a great feeling getting back to the Xbox now, hell I'm even willing to buy myself a new OLED TV just to get the full experience. And as I'm not really a gamer who cares about age or graphics with games it's such a phenomenal thing using the Series X to play some of my favorite OG Xbox and 360 Titles and many I haven't ever played yet like. I was looking exactly for THIS, a multi-genre oldie gamer (compared to the new guys at least nowadays lol) to talk about some of the backwards compatible titles. So nope, it's definitely not too late to talk about it. I would even say it's never too late. As I'm still even wanting to get back to my PS3 aswell and even figuring out if I should get a newer one since my old one probably won't live on for too long by now. There are some CLASSIC Games, specifically starting in the 2000's who i will always appreciate and get my hands on no matter how old I'll be. I guess it was just my favorite generation of games. I still have fun with new games although I can't deny I'm honestly so often a little bored and disappointed by the lack of content or freedom and that most games nowadays have better graphics than great gameplay or story. You talked about Morrorwind in your older video, that's the type of games that come to my mind. Absolutely timeless and there's just a charme in those older amazing RPG Titles or even underrated 3rd/1st Person Shooters like the older Ghost Recon Games, Splinter Cell Games and the Rainbow 6 Games. It's just sad that the support of most of those didn't continue onto the One/Series X gut I gladly also still have my 360 for those...Peace, love your content! ✌🏼

You can't really go wrong! And so many people forgot that the Xbox 360 is backwards compatible with a good amount of original Xbox games!
Do you keep the RGH offline and have your profile on a USB and put it on the online stock 360 to do the achievement syncing?

I have been getting some freaking amazing games for cheap all generations, 360 games kinda high but Xbox one games pretty cheap

I think pre-PS1/Gamecube, Xbox games that were 3-D aged poorly. But there's lots of 2-D games that are still great!
