    You've got to get a little aquarium so we can get a good look at the fish before they disappear into bigger tanks

    Rob, you seem like such a hard working, animal loving young man. You are just younger than my youngest son, and if you were my son, I would help you in every way I could. Keep moving forward and being a kind hardworking toung man, and God will bless you!

    *rob's aquatics*
    if anyone was wondering, you can breed an jackby or jaguar cichlid male or female to any of these african, duboius,sudan,amazon or asian cichlids etc

    Need to update your shop with some of tho fish you caught 😊. Can't wait till you get a better place and settle in that way you and camera girl can get back in the rhythm of catching more from the creeks and sewer tunnels. Loved the setup you started with the tanks but once you get in somewhere better it will be so much easier to keep and set more up. Keep your head up and keep being a Boss.

    @PandazAimee88 5 месяцев назад +5

    They look a little like bleeding heart tetra, but not easy to tell from the video frames.
    I recon with a bit of fishing wire, a needle and some patience. You could mend that hole in the fish trap. Save you going through them so quickly.

    17:53 are Bleeding Heart Tetras which kind of shocks me. Bleeding Hearts are considered as one of the more exotic and expensive species of tetra and are known to be quite finicky about their water parameters. You must have some extra hardy ones there if they can survive that smelly canal. They are a beautiful fish when in a school and go perfectly with Discus...remember the Discus Rob lol. The pleco is another sailfin leopard like you caught the other day and put in the Pacu tank. Those tiny fish I have no idea what they are. Didn't get a good enough look at them even when pausing the video. The cichlid looks like a Zebra but don't quote me on that. At your next place I hope you don't keep mixing African and South American cichlids in the same tank. Completely different water conditions. Happy fishing mate.

    Greetings Rob and Camera Girl. Tip nets into tubs. Your small fish, fry and shrimp numbers will grow massively

    • @stormqueen29
      @stormqueen29 5 месяцев назад

      Yep. Get a decent size white or very light colored tub and just tip the net into the tubs and then you can pick the algae and litter out and leave behind all the fish.

    Go buy pvc pipe to fit over the handle. Drill thru it and good it to the handle of your net. Simple cheap fix

    That really is a beautiful gourami!
    Next time you go to that location, you should definitely try the cast net. In a creek that deep and that wide, there must be a lot of fish you're missing from the bank, including the grocery cart fish. I don't know what it would be like if you caught a turtle in the cast net though.

    You could sew Velcro on the trap with the hole on top. It would allow you to open and close. Empty your traps over a shower curtain or tarp to save the fish.
