- Back in 2012, Bandai Namco and Saber Interactive released a cover based third person shooter shockingly similar to Gears of War. They attempted to differentiate themselves by incorporating gravity alteration, but it wasn't enough. It went on to receive mixed reception, and score a 53 on Metacritic for the Xbox 360, but... did it deserve the hate?

I've never seen a game based on a gimmick that actually utilized that gimmick to full potential. Case in point: Singularity. In that game you either kill enemies with your powers (which you can do with guns anyway) or you progress the story with it. What's even the point? This game seems very similar to that.
Inversion does play a LOT like Gears, but I actually enjoyed it more tbh. Better weapons, and better sprint animation imo. Plus I enjoyed zero gravity platform segments. That ending thooo.
Yeah, that ending was WILD, I wanted to talk about it in the video, but I held off just to leave it for other people in case they wanted to go back and play it. A lot of Leo's dialog makes more sense once you have the context of the ending lol.
Might give this game another chance.
It's very underrated...i hope they make a 2nd game.
Found this game from funhaus 1 dollar 1 hour, and it doesnt look half bad
Oh wow, I used to watch them quite a bit, I guess I just missed that episode, but that's awesome!
when i first saw the game, when i was like 12 or 13 years old, i instantly thought the game was a gears of war rip off, but when i played it, i just fell in love with it, sadly i never got to finish it, i dont remember why, i think i lost the cd of the game, but i really enjoyed the game a lot, the mechanics where a lot of fun, the story, gameplay and weapons are clearly too similar to gears of war's but this game is so much fun that ia literally dont care, i love gears of war and this even if its a rip off, its so well made that i just cant help to love it
