    Can I use a pancake compressor on the easy sprayer?

    Great gun and idea. Just need to make a refillable bag for doing small rooms. I can buy a 3.5 gallon box of joint compound for less that that little bag costs.

    This bs didn't work for me. Dumb. Wouldn't even shoot out of the gun unless I squeeze the bag the while time

      You're SUPPOSED to squeeze the bag as you use the gun, that's how it gets the mud into the gun's airway. The lighter you squeeze, the smaller the texture. The harder you squeeze, the bigger the texture. Rewatch this video @ 0:23.

    I just finished taking the popcorn down in my upcoming babies nursery. I finished the ceiling with this texture gun and did a heavy orange peel to go with the crows foot that's on the walls. It turned out great and was super easy with this! Great product. I recommend 10/10.

    That’s Bad A$$!!! Came across this yesterday while in Home Depot. Was going to the bathroom and passed the display. Took a look at the spray nozzle to see what it was about. Then saw the premixed spray bags. Decided to take a pic of the package so I could research it later.
    Came across this video first. Have to say I had no idea it would be this easy. Very impressed.

    `Once you get used to it,you can match any texture,perfectly.I use it all the time for patches,Miles better than a hopper,and way cleaner.

    Tried it for the first time. It's trash. It doesn't work at 30psi and it sprays to thin if you try to go higher on psi. And it's messy. It drips from the tip way too much mud.

    What’s the shelf life after it’s been open as long as it’s stored in a cool place like inside of a house not in a hot garage ?

    Thanks EZ Pro! I just used your gun for the first time and I could not be happier. Patched a hole from an old light switch and you can't tell it was ever there. Great product.

      Check.out a redtail texture gun instead of this products

  • @yzmoto80

    I saw somebody on you tube Fill up an extra large latex glove and zip tie it to the gun to make his own “big “ bags of mud for
    much cheaper than your $8 little bags of mud. EZ PRO has a great idea, but they got greedy with the mud, so now people are making their own. Stick it EZ PRO !

    Man I just tried mine and it worked like absolute dog shit. I had my compressor set to the right psi and fallowed all the instructions.

  • @johnalarcon5006
    @johnalarcon5006 2 года назад

    No i dont have to have this system i already have a redtail which is the best texture system available bar none and i dont need to lugg around a compressor or a air line hose and piss off the home owners by scuffing up their base boards with the hose , i like how this advertisement doesn't show a compressor or line running through the home just spend the money on a redtail

    If the texture bags were $4.99 each I'd use them all the time. They are just a bit too expensive.

    Definitely going to get one for some wallboard joint cracks. I agree with YZMOTO below. Do'nt get greedy, you will gain short term but lose big time long term. The more expensive you make the 10 cents worth of mud in the bag the less likely people will buy it. I saw this in a Home Depot, took one look at the price of a bag and kept walking. I get it that you have to recover you startup and NRE and tooling costs, costs, nearly all people don't understand those costs and only consider the production cost. But still, its so easy to replace that bag any number of ways. I'd bet most buyers are Tradesmen, followed by the upper home improvement guys who do all their own work, what you guys need to break into is the average Joe or Josephine who has just learned how to do some painting for the first time in their life. Anyway fantastic demo, kudo's for using a black background, that really helped see it and great camera work showing you suttle hand movements. Gonna buy one and even one bag of your pre mix but as a Prior Sailor in the US Nuclear Sub Force and and Engineer, I'm definitely replacing that too expensive bag.

    If I had a small job and just used a little of the texture, could I store the remaining material for another day? or is it a one and done type system?

    • @EZProMick
      @EZProMick 3 года назад +2

      Hi Jacob. That's one of the many great features of our product. Yes, you can cap the remaining product to use another day. You can also mix an older bag that has sat idle for some time by cutting the ends off of two zip ties so just the straight ends remain. Lay the two pieces on top of one another and place in a standard chuck of a drill. You should have approx 7" of zip tie extending from the drill chuck. Simply place the other ends of the zip ties in the bag and hit the trigger on the drill for approx 20-30 seconds. This mixes the texture in the bag phenomenally well.

    Ever Forward,
    First and foremost thank you for your service!
    As one of the founders of EZ Pro and a retired fireman who worked off duty as a contractor I see this subject from many angles. What I can honestly say is that for years I wrestled with only two choices for texture repair that were affordable. Those were aerosol texture or the labor intensive process of mixing texture and using a hopper. This product is a result of years of frustration. We try very hard to be competitive in price. The coverage is comparable to aerosol texture while offering a lower price point.
