I think it’s a possibility I may have this. I’m currently waiting to get tested for the spectrum, because of my extreme hypersensitivity issues. I had to quit my job at the Apple Store, because I couldn’t sleep at all anymore from the stimulating environment. Also, working in customer service was draining, because I could feel people’s emotions when they came in. When my grandmother gets her shot in her shoulder, I always feel a little pinch in mine. I feel like I can experience others experiences as well. If I see a skydiving video, I’ll start seeing myself staring at the ground a mile down, and feel wind rushing past my body. It’s quite interesting, and I always thought it was a normal thing.

I gotta call this doctor up, as someone with mirror-touch synesthesia I can't feel something I don't see or the other person feeling or if the person doesn't tell me...that woman was perfectly normal and he just knows she has back pain. She didn't tell him, there were no clues, but he knew? that's more like a medium than synesthesia.

It may be a case of cut out footage. We didn't see her walk onto the stage but he most likely did. She could have put her hand on her back or walked a certain way that caused him to feel this way. I do believe he felt it and I know of at least one other person who's felt a ulcer someone didn't tell them about. It also may come from his acknowledgment and his indepepth study into mirror touch which has allowed him to open up more. I know I myself tend to feel environments not people (In my case I believe it's less mirror touch and more what psychology calls empathic response) I can walk into a room of people and automatically my body reacts to the emotions in the air. If people our tense I get super anxious, if there happy my body feels with energy, if there sad I get super withdrawn and tired. Our bodies are all very interesting.

Hi Dr. Salinas I seen you on Ripley's Believe it or Not today and I'm so fascinated by your condition its amazing! Thank you for using your gift to help others even though its tough on you. I wish you was closer to me here in Louisville Kentucky I need a "Super" neurologist lol. Its hard to find one that doesn't understand or isn't so judgemental around here. Thank you again for all you do for people... Krissie Hadley-Harbin

It's great that he come up with this diagnosis.. But I believe this is the same case as a person that is extremely perceptive.. Like myself, I can feel people's emotions whether they're faking it or not.. I can even feel the ambience of the surrounding if it is filled with angry people or sad people..

i believe people that have this ability have had DNA manipulation done on their family’s genetic structure at some point in time.. idk if i said the right, like at allll, but.. it should’ve gotten my point across.
we’re not alone and never have been. people like you are proof in my world and eyes 🥰🎀
