I don't know if it's very common, people tells me it's just because it's your memory, but there's many smells that will gives me flashbacks to something very special, for example a very specific of glue brand will remind me of my kindegarten because we used these a lot and it's very closely tied to it, I also have a good sense of smell.

I have mirror-touch synesthesia, its not just with touch though when someone says they have a stomach ache or their head hurts the same thing happens to me but its only if I'm aware of it. (yes I got diagnosed with it dont come at me bro)

Everyone in the comments that's trying to self diagnose themselves with synesthesia needs to remember that everyone has synesthesia to a certain degree, it's part of normal cognitive quantifying. You don't need a mental disorder to be unique, please look somewhere else.
Synesthesia can’t be diagnosed, because it’s not a disorder or disease. It can be tested though, and I agree, I think everyone has a form of it and it can be practiced/enhanced. Some people are just more genetically predisposed to it than others. Like a lot of things, it’s a spectrum and everyone experiences it differently.
