It's the best idea to have India and sri Lanka connected via road bridge, so that trade and tourism between the countries will improve, it will reduce the cost of transportation. Also the religious emotions of Hindus - Ram setu is protected and Ram setu can be visited as pilgrimage via ferry ride.
