Story one!
In the Galactic Assembly, a mad Gib scientist urgently warned about humans harboring cosmic souls, sparking confusion and fear among the attendees. He described dissecting humans and discovering a mysterious energy within, likening it to a dual existence of body and soul. Captain Vir, Earth's representative, acknowledged humanity's belief in the soul but dismissed the fear, emphasizing its representation of good. Despite Vir's reassurances, the Assembly remained uneasy, grappling with the scientist's unsettling revelations. Krill, observing the tension, pondered the implications-could humans truly possess a transcendent essence? The Assembly left divided, unable to reach a consensus on the profound claims.
Story two!
Humans are known for defying natural limits and forming unique bonds, such as with dogs. Captain Vir's excitement about receiving a package reveals his dog, Waffles, initially terrifying Krill. However, Krill soon witnesses the deep, affectionate bond between them. The story highlights humans' unique ability to empathize and connect, both with each other and with other species. Even in captivity, Captain Vir inspires fellow humans to rise up through song, demonstrating their indomitable spirit and unity. This collective resilience and emotional connection showcase the extraordinary adaptability and strength of the human spirit, which cannot be easily defeated or constrained.

To be honest I am not really that surprised Mickey Mouse decided to go on a murder spree to find the "soul" in humans as it is the one thing he lacks and can't just buy.
i know i might be racist but he sounded like he was trying to be spanish or something of the like
@@c7iC--s7ick he was sounding just like Gollum, no sect
I thought he sounded like Rolf from Ed edd & Eddy
I was thinking the squirrel from Madagascar. Mort, i think
I thought he sounded like the VA for Nikola Tesla in Super Science Friends.
"The humans dont understand the power of their collective understanding."
Truer words never spoken.
"There couldn't be anything that powerful... could there?" - my immediate thought was "it's called music" and... the story answers that beautifully.
There are 3 universal languages of Humans:
Body Language
Food
Music
There is a reason the phrase "music is the universal language" exists.
Using Don’t Stop Believing as MORALE BOOST IS GENIUS AND I LOVE IT
It's never good for a captor when the captives regain moral and sets their sites on their captors, at that point, you run for your life.
"They're doing it again, Sir."
Doing what?
"...Singing."
"we had not slaughtered them, no we gave them permission to evolve. They returned to war showing us what a REAL death species, from a REAL death world was. And show us they did."
You can hear the madness of that scientist. Great job!!
all i hear when i hear the scientists voice is, "KING JULIAN, OH KING JULIAN"
SAME.
I'm glad I'm not the only one!
Now I can't unhear it
I think Krill is one of my favorite people of this series
Is that the medic??
@@metabolic2057 yes
@@somniferousSirenSocial miss him.
@@somniferousSirenSocial imma write my own A.I story continuation with just krill 🤓
tfw a kooky alien scientist accidentally discovers that an entire race of people is actually part eldritch, cosmic beings and now the entire galactic counsel is unsure of whether or not this race should be allowed to alive or if these things are true they’d only be doing them a huge favor of escaping their fleshly tombs and could return to wreak untold horrors upon the rest of the galaxy with vengence for their bodily demise 😂
Fantastic mad scientist voice, keep up the great work!
Now I want a sequel story where aliens discover ghosts
Even Doctor Who understands the importance of pop music as "traditional earth ballads"
The human soul masses 21 grams? That is interesting
Taken from real life, a bit of fakery to prove people have souls while animals don't. web search will give more info.
That number is with the body not losing any fluids or solids with the cessation of life.
the test was conducted in 1907 with 6 dying people that agreed to it
on death one lost three quarters of an ounce of weight (21g)
the physician wrote he had too little of a sample size to prove anything
but somehow that one note got stuck with us
@@pacman10182because we seek a prove that something about ourself could prevails death.
We fear death so much in our subconscious that we still desire on some degree that should exists.
@@pacman10182 thank you for pumping some healthy rationality in this thread.
To be fair the soul baffles human scientists.
You did a WONDERFUL job on the first story! Your vocalizations of the various character's personalities and voices, especially the mad scientist insanity searching for the human soul in the human like it was a physical organ. I could literally hear the various waves of emotional madness in his voice as they rose, fell, and were tossed back and forth as he manically spoke. Notice I said "...his voice..." and not yours. Your presentation was so good that I was transcended beyond being just a listener and was transported into the story by my activated imagination The second story was excellent as well. In the 2nd story I heard you create the character of a rather animated storyteller, and then bring him to life with your vocal skills as he described the vocal play about to unfold. Your shifting between excellent "narrator mode" and vocalizing your characters was well done. Another person posted that you couldn't sing. That person completely missed what you were doing. It wasn't "you" singing, it was your various vocal characters, each character with a different voice, different personality, and in the part of the story where they were singing, with various singing abilities ranging from gruff and awful to almost passable, but again, your presentation was so good that it was the characters singing, not "you". Incredible presentation on both. These two stories were a LOT closer to being like literal radio theater then just narration. You literally set the stage of the mind of the listener with your voice as you then placed the characters upon it and then they....through your vocal skills, delivered a wonderful performance. Twice. Bravo!
in the second story, the choice of the first song was great. it starts with lines that are completely absurd for the situation on top of the fact that some guy is singing when in hell. then it shifts to uplifting lyrics about believing in the face of adversity. thus bringing everyone out of their funks and reminding them that bad situations can be overcome. then moving to one of the most iconic "war anthems" in modern history all about collectively fighting and bringing their abhorrent and disgraced enemy low.
15:56, We were born to conquer the stars!
doesn't the mad scientist alien sound like Mort from Madagascar and Dr. Hienz Doof mixed together? I can hear both "King Julien!" and "This is my new Inator- Inator!" EDIT: also a little Meeseeks too. XD
This might go deeper that anyone can think
I have been listening for a few days now and out of order. I absolutely love Krill and how he learns about humanity. Good job showing an inquisitive alien and their perspective of humanity. I really liked the one how he didn't know what sleep was.
Is it just me or does anyone else envision Vere & Krill as Zapp Brannigan & Kif
Nah, the captain is way too calm and rational.
Why do i hear mort from Madagascar when he speaks with the mad scientist?
Body = Hardware
Mind = Firmware
Soul = Operating System
Scars = Software
The greatest part of this, is that I genuinely was thinking of the idea to stand up from the other side of the cavern and sing "We Will Rock You" before he even finished the first song.
fascinating step into the metaphysical world about what we humans are
So are humans capable of psionics or something?
Did anyone else notice the headless person around the council table. The headless body is in the lower left hand corner of the screen at 5:50.
It creeped me out, considering the content of the story.
Ai generated images. Lazy.
If a human is alone it is either by their choice or by the choices of others.
The voices are great. Fantastic story.
Krill is Gollum but instead of the Ring of Power, he see's the Soul of a Human
Love your choice of songs!
What if humans harbored a cosmic essence?
SERIOUSLY Somebody Call AMBASSADOR DELEN!
She can explain this. Or you can go to the past and talk to Valen himself. Eh ... Nobody listen's to Deathclaw.... Very sad. Die alone in a nuclear winter he will.
Okay, you had fun doing the voices for that second one, didn't you? haha
Do you hear the people sing, singing the song of angry men...
We dont die...... we respawn just bare naked without knowledge what was on in the last game! Permadeath servers are anoying!
A form of immortality
Whoever told you that you can sing is responsible for lying to you
You missed the point. It wasn't "him" singing. It was his various characters with different personalities and with his vocal skills he gave them varied singing abilities ranging from gruff and awful to almost passable. That's what you were hearing. They had been brought to life by the narrator's vocal skills and it was like vocal theater.
You shit up
@@edhenderson1655 It was painful to listen to, end of story
@charlesmitchell8982 you've apparently never understood the point of narration. It is not to put forth your own talents. It is to bring a new and fuller life to characters that were once just words. Fix your own damn insecurities before you keep ragging on others.
@@voidshattered Oh shut up, fool, I do understand narration, if there was a part where somebody farted would you need a narrator to make a farting noise so you would get the picture? I don't need someone making noises to get a picture in my head of the narration and not wanting to have my ears burst has nothing to do with insecurity

I love Krill and Captain Vir!!! Please keep them coming, and I will support you how I can Good Sir!!!
Just a thought, but an amazing continuation, or offshoot of this story’s feeling would be that humans not only connect with each other very well, but others too. That humans for whatever reason can connect with anyone or anything that they come across. Like Krill who would be an individual and yet can feel the surge of pride and anger and happiness and sadness along with his humans, even though that isn’t normal for his species or any species. That humans can somehow just Connect with everyone. I’m sure that would be very jarring for every other species that was individuals before and then begin to feel what others feel or at least what humans felt/humans feeling what they feel. I’m sure it would be pretty odd for them not just alarming. Or could you imagine a hive mind coming across a human who began to understand the hive mind itself it would be hive mind-sepshion.
A religious leader once said that music is a divine and effective art, food of the soul and spirit. Through its power and charm, the spirit of man is uplifted. The second story proves that.
23:25
Wait... Kril was never able to sleep
The series of stories are really good!! 👍 Your narration is very good 💯
wonder if there is or to come a protogen story as by lore they are part fury part groxian and part machine
Great tune.
i can only visualize lemon grab with that voice and i love it
Unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!
They glaze us so much that it's.... impressive
let'sssss gooooooooo, more krill
"21 grams" was only ever 'detected' by the religious doctor who believed in religion and souls. And only by selective 'analysis' of his own data.
That is the most human thing ever.
I was suprised noone mentioned 7 nation army
You sound like Dr. Doofenschmirtz 😂 i dont get it out of my head
Alright liver last night was a light night. Get some rest you and the kidneys are going to have a long night.
ok the voice acting on the mad alien scientist?... You're incredible. Just friggen awesome in every way. Seriously, good job. :)
Bro the moment the sun sun chuss thing appeared on screen I was just like YEsSSssSsSsSSs WE WILL WE WILL ROCK YOU
Truely the power of music
If you took this show on Tour, you could make MILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO KEEP YOUR MOUTH CLOSED!! No singing! EVER! Bahahaha
This video was great, voice acting could be better for some characters, id reccomend some voice changing software, should be easy to use !
Thanks for the story.
pfft lmfao (every single school ive gone too used that silly rythm song) DUM DUM TSCH DUM DUM TSCH (its the bestt)
The source of the soul: Gen 2:7 Breath+Body
Where it goes when you die: Ecc 12:7 "The Body returns to dust and the Breath returns to God who gave it."
No such things as ghosts. If there are some kind of spirits aka "ghosts", they aren't wondering human souls.
5:45 yeah this is straight up not true. I'm not opposed to accepting different logic for a fictional story, but given that this fun little piece of misinformation was spread everywhere on the internet for a while, it kinda annoys me. (though I may be more annoyed because I was actually ricked into believing it for a while)
I can't help but cringe at this story in context. This series is very good, and the aliens aren't superstitious. They have the decency of being rational and only believing something because there is evidence of it, and this story simply undoes all that and insinuate aliens will believe stuff from human religion as fact just... Because! And things we can disprove nowadays
Like, just give humans souls in your sci-fi! You already made every other alien very very fragile to make human survivability a superpower, just tie that to a soul thingy, why does it have to be developed literally using the same fallacies preachers use and why can i point to the exact moment where everyone suddenly pre-supposed souls exist and are just undetectable, for absolutely no reason?
The writer is interjecting fallacy based, illogical lines of thought, and they might not even be realizing it, which is a thing since religion only works through being indoctrinated with it at a age where you're too young to understand logic. That's a horrible sight on its own but it also makes enjoying this story very hard
My parents love this song ,and once my mother sang it but said toust Detroit, and I will never listen to this without laughing
crimgey pic/title, but hopefully decent story, to the "watch later" pile.
There are some of us that do indeed not care much for music. Musical anhedonia. Which i happen to possess.
26:53 That had me laughing so hard I had to get up from my pc and walk around my place.
Humans have a soul because only they were made in gods image. Not them aliens
Mort was never the same since King Julian abandoned him
For some reason the mad scientist sound like Mort from Madagascar to me
The last story song should had been that one backstreet boy song
I knew a ginger who had a soul, he bought it on eBay.
Great voice acting! Especially the scientist.
..legal!
Love it! Very POWERFUL
Animals do to have souls. Some humans don't.
lol of all songs he uses this one? 😂
Mort is a scientist now, good to know
Whoop Whoop homies
✌🏻🐵✌🏻
Sounds like Mort
Mort went insane
Everyone (no need for a professional) can sing this song better!!
I like the stories but the screeching voice is hard to listen to.
Bro watched human's pseudoscience youtube videos and gone insane.
I hate how this series of stories is amazing, and the aliens have a very good vague characterization, mostly through what differentiates them from humans, thus emphasizing what makes us unique
And then they all suddenly presuppose souls exists for no reason, from one paragraph to the next
By definition, if you're sentient, you have a soul. So are these aliens not sentient?
That is not what sentient means.
Poor krill finally snapped:(
Voice reminds me of goon from Titan ae
Great story I totally enjoyed the second one
4 da AL GORE RHYTHM!
If anyone was wondering about the 21 gram soul thing it's probably a reference to a scientific experiment conducted by Duncan MacDougall who observed a patient immediately losing around 21 g of weight at the time of his death with no way to account for the weight loss. What he didn't want to disclose was that he did it with six patients and only one of them actually lost the 21 grams. It's called selective reporting, it's what people with an agenda do to try to forcefully confirm a hypothesis
FTA
The song ruined it
BS, once more!
I appreciate that you are doing voices for different characters, but that hi pitch winy voice made it hard to understand and killed my interest in the story
O hell no first few secs and I cringe to the extreme
you should change your voice because it sucks big time.
