I have realised that I definitely fit into the silent watcher category but feel like I really wanted to write about how much I'm enjoying your content Alfie. The attention to detail but also really relaxed style of videos are so lovely to watch and I genuinely look forward to watching what you put out. I Love how you immediately addressed my thoughts in this video! At the beach I was thinking how well you’re all doing in your little family and how easy it always seems, even though I know you still sometimes might struggle just like everyone else and then right in that moment you commented on it yourself. We’re all focusing so much on what others might do better than ourself and that little reminder just made me smile :)

Thank you Alfie for reassuring us as parents the tantrums does happens to our little ones! It’s like how you and Zoe put it: we’re not going to pull out our camera and video record our kid when they’re throwing tantrums! We have to help soothe and cope with them on their big feelings and behaviors. I love how Ottie picked Harry Styles to listen to in the car! She’s definitely a Zoe’s daughter! Lol

Thanks for your little chat at the end. I've been struggling a lot lately with fighting against inertia - a body at rest stays at rest. But what I've realized is that the opposite side of inertia is that a body in motion stays in motion!! I've been making more of a conscious effort to get my body moving in the mornings (I work a night job) and I have to say that it's getting easier and easier every day!!

Alfie your videos are a joy to watch they always have been for me, I can’t think of a specific time exactly but I think i began watching your RUclips around 2013 when I was 12 I’m now 22, I’ve grown so much as a person since then and what’s so comforting is that in all that time I’ve watched your videos and watched you grow too. You seem to have parent life worked out perfectly, and as you said not all moments are as easy as they seem I can tell you that Ottie will grow to remember all these memories and admire who you are as her father whilst she begins to understand more. Thank you for always shining positive light onto all of our lives and I hope when you feel any times of negativity that you remember how very special you are! ☺️

Your talk about doing something that you don’t feel like doing reminded me of this quote: “Commitment level always higher than ability.” Of course, apply it with common sense to avoid burnout, but it is very true, I feel 40% more ready for the gym just by wearing my gym clothes and showering, and training is one of those things that gets mentally harder when you break the habit of doing it. In September, I will have been doing training for 4 consistent years, it’s my training anniversary.
You have created such a carefully curated life.. living your best life So wholesomely enriched with loved ones, family and friends. 💞
