Literally making Titan armour out of nothing. It is big. Not a 7 foot titan, but still large. Warhammer 40k Warlord Titan scratch build update and very real confession/apology. This leg which seems large, is not as big as the Imperator titan's head. (custom, even larger warhammer model by Eric's Hobby Workshop. What would happen if/when? they cross paths!?). Also, how I "lost" the $4000 Warlord Titan diorama (again). Charity titan diorama with only one titan in it.

@@ScratchBashingit’s good to see two creators supporting each other, and making water bottles into a walking castle and scrap plastic into tanks.
Maybe both of you could do a collab together.
And idea cold be making half of a creation and giving it to the other.
Then they would finish it without knowing what it originally was supposed to be.
Then people would need to watch both channels to se the beginning of their own creation and the end result of the other.
Well it’s obviously going to be the most dangerous Sigma class Titan out there, so paint it with an obnoxious amount of hazard stripes all over.
That way, if you get stomped/blown up it's your own fault!
Suggestion for the height thing, call it a 'siege', 'mirage' or 'carnivore' titan, they are a few that have been mentioned but never shown, and could explain the extra height and different silhouette.
One thing you could probably do in regards to the size difference of your Warlord titan is to instead make it into a Imperator Titan (aka a Emperor-class battle titan) since they're much bigger than warlord titans.
Imperator/Emperor might be too big for this leg, maybe a Warmaster class?

@@Robosiumsomeone printed what is basically an Imperator, called the Matriarch Titan. It’s 100cm compared to the warlord at 60cm.
Once this is complete you and midwinter minis need to have the ultimate battle with your warlord titans

You can justify anything in Warhammer with enough lore. Just say it was made with the special ancient mechanicus sigma power technology that led to it being so large, and then call everyone who debates that excuse's validity by calling them a nerd.

It would be a massive project but if you did the classic Alpha Legion removing a disguise paint scheme. This way you can do both loyalist and traitor elements and brag that you've completed an outrageously complex task.

i honestly dont think it being bigger than the normal warlord titan model is bad at all, titan sizes can vary pretty significantly between titans of the same typer in warhammer. plus, this minor "mistake" adds the posibility of making it a new class of titan altogether
Could work it into the lore... A single misspoken order by one of the primarchs, or misheard command leads to the biggest titan ever built. The atlas class, or " world breaker" titan. Able to crush whole armies beneath its feet, but requires far more effort and man power to control - with a machine spirit that is near impossible for anyone short of a custodes or primarch to handle.

Okay, your channel literally has merch about not forgetting the L O R E, so using my limited knowledge of warhammer lore, I'm gonna attempt to rationalize this "titanic" conundrum. (ill see myself out)
The Sigma Class titan was commissioned by Rouboute Guilliman at the start of the Indomitus Crusade to provide an alternative to the Imperator Class titan. It was designed with more of a focus on speed and overwhelming firepower rather than it's more heavily armored and slow moving Imperator counterpart. The weapons it could bring to bear were some of the most advanced and devastating at the disposal of the Imperium of Man, stemming their roots all the way back to the dark age of technology, and being more sizably compared to the blasters used on anti-orbital defense arrays. As a result of this, its princeps was required to be a psycher in order to wrangle the extremely advanced and powerful machine spirit that operated the monumental weapons systems. Designed to strike hard and then disappear with its incredible speed, it synergized well with its Imperator brethren, delivering hard hitting blows from unsuspected angles while the Imperators bore the brunt of the damage. Named in honor of an ancient terran culture known as the "sigma males" the Sigma Class titan would honor the lineage by looking incredibly cool, and "chad-like". However, due to several disputes among rival Magos (plural?) of the Adeptus Mechanicus, running the risk of inciting the framing of tech heresy, as well as general dogmatic imperial bureaucracy bullcrap, the titan was miss-identified. The official naming, much to Guilliman's dismay, ended up being Warlord Class, Sigma Pattern, rather than being a separate class.

You should paint it in a traitor forge scheme, that way you can say it's bigger than a regular warlord titan because "it DOES lift, brother" and even the Mechanicus will not be able to truthfully condemn the weakness of THIS flesh.

Honestly, the Old-Hammer style of this Titan fits with the scale, as before GW nerfed Titan sizes to sell more plastic crack they were bigger. This Warlord is probably closer to the true, original size of a Warlord than the official models.
I suggest slap a comically large flamethrower on another hand and go Salamanders colour scheme
Why? If you ask "why" you clearly don't get the pure sigma energy of a single Titan getting sent to burn an entire hivefleet wortg of spacebugs to a crisp without communicating a word and leaving afterwards

This is going to be a dark age of technology Titan. It doesn’t match any of the titan STCs. So, that means it’s a lost titan. Maybe this will be an early titan, Horus heresy era, lost to space. Maybe we paint it thunder warrior colors?
Ik they’re not related to knights or titans(as far as Ik) but idk why a lamenter style paint scheme to me might look good aka yellow, checkerboard patterns, n some red or black

Honestly, titans, when you compare their size to real life buildings, seem very small. So going bigger is definitely better.
For a color scheme, Caterpillar Yellow with black highlights should fit nature of the build perfectly.

*I’m gonna be real with you, the only colour scheme perfect for a sigma pattern would either be a black and white scheme or a deep ocean blue*
This titan process began to remember me the comercial of the Peugeot 206 made by an indian a hammer and an elephant.
Paint it blue to have dadabee dabadah power while fighting other blue factions like ultramarines or tau.
For some reason I think an electric blue like kroxigor contrast on all the titan with the white base would be fantastic.

Why not color it in the colors of your favorite space Marine legion? Could look cool
thats a lavalier calliper. when read correctly they give accuracy between 2 and 4 decimal places.
basically, you use the big main callipers for measuring the outside of something and the weird small ones on top for measuring the inside of things like holes. you measure to size, so lets say on the main scale its 85mm but its juuust over, you then look on the lavalier scale (the bit the ruler and calliper slide through with the scale on it) and whichever line is the first line to perfectly line up is the first decimal place, i.e 85.1, it then goes in order of the next most lined up etc, generally accurate as i say to like 2, 3, 4 decimal places, even the non digital ones
non digital logarithmic scale, great stuff, kinda like how they used to use slide rules and stuff. lavalier callipers are great
