you guys are in Wyoming!!!! hell yes!!! when I got money, I'll come down from Buffalo and see if I can work with you guys.... the old power wagon is my dream truck.... Hope to see you guys in a few years...
had a GMC Sierra 4 wheel drive it was a beast in the snow but if I had the money I would get the Dodge power wagon in a heartbeat its a beautiful truck
It’s a beautiful truck, I understand the price to build something that lasts the tests of time especially these days with high costs in materials and talented labor to complete the trucks, still a shame the average middle class worker will most likely never be able to afford this as they did back in the day of the original .
It's a beautiful and well designed machine, but the Power Wagon was originally priced affordably for the workers who would be buying it. It's a shame to see it being turned into a rich man's toy.
Ya just another toy for rich people. Idd rather have an original. I own a good truck now. 99 ford. 7.3 diesel 6 speed manual 4×4 8 foot bed with extended cab. It will do all these trucks do and hey i can by 2 hoyses for cash with the money i didnt spend on these fake powerwagons
At 1:20 you promote the fact of orange peal in the paint as a good thing because it more original? If someone is buying one of these, originality is obviously not too much of a concern. Be real here. Single stage is quicker and cheaper to do from my experience. Just can't see the "advantage" of that. Single stage has always faded/oxidized quicker than your typical base/clear.
@@toomanyhobbies2011 Okay, it may be easier to repair to you but now you have to match THEIR orange peel to "keep looking nice". They claim single stage is a "time consuming appliction" as well with the implication that base clear is easier to do.
..It is pity that you didn´t use a sound booth, sounds like a livingroom. High resolution would have done the video and the trucks more justice though…. But I do think it is very cool what you do...
Not at all the "worlds first four wheel drive trucks", geez the Model T came in four wheel drive. These are awesome as collector items, I'd love to have an original, but who wants to drive one of these all the time? It also looks like an old body on new frame rebuild. Maybe a 90s Dodge 4x4 chassis under the old sheet metal. That's a very easy job, just swap the body, adjust everything to fit, and they already came with the 12 or 24 value Cummins. I saw another that was a Power Wagon body on a 2000s GM 4x4 truck chassis. It had the GM seats and an original looking dash with electronic gauges. Basically the same as my '03 GMC 4x4.
Old Dog City Pound your not paying for the truck your paying for 600 hours of labour from techs, welders, panel beaters, painters etc, a crate power train or donor truck, Restoring any vehicle to this level let alone one form 70 years ago will never be worth the time/money you put into it besides 200k is a lot cheaper compared to what other similar companies charge, a truck by icon will be closer to 300k and a singer or eagle will be around 500-600k
Hey much would this cost me ? and do you have any avalilable ? and would you be willing to fix a 1941-42 Dodge Wc-12-40 trucks ? And do you have a web site and phone? and who do i talk with ?
I've always been a GM guy, but this has got to be the coolest and best looking truck ever built. Wish I had the $$$.
Sweet truck. I just recently watched it on Jay Leno's Garage. I like the blend of vintage style and modern technology. :)
Why would anyone ruin this truck by sticking crappie GM stuff in it
you guys are in Wyoming!!!! hell yes!!! when I got money, I'll come down from Buffalo and see if I can work with you guys.... the old power wagon is my dream truck.... Hope to see you guys in a few years...
best truck ever produced
Sam Elliot should have done the voice!

A Dream come true, Dodge power wagon with a cummins/Allison. Awesome!
Each to their own! I prefer the nv4500. I always thought that manuals go behind diesels. But I also grew up with macks and kenworths too lol.

I have seen photos of a crew cab version at SIMA 2016. That is my dream truck.

Great video of restoration of classic Power Wagon.
But will they still be running in 75 years like the original trucks?

Agreed. Sad to see them come to this ridiculously overpriced end.

Single stage is easily repairable. That's a good thing in an off-road vehicle that you want to keep looking nice.

Too fancy for me with that smelly diesel, I'm keeping my 41' military WC12 stock :)

Far more refined and useful truck than the early Power Wagons.
why does it cost so much? maybe because most everything is custom?
