Unfortunately I had to miss the 'live show' (things happened), but I remember when this game released. It was the first FInal Fantasy with the characters being voice acted (and some of that was hit and miss), but at the time period it released it was quite impressive. It didn't push the envelope on graphics to the same extent as FF9 did for the PS1 or years later how much FF12 would push the envelope on the PS2 (my god FF12 was a horrible game... but my God was it beautiful). FF10 also lacked the soundtrack of FF9, FF10 was good but FF9 was genuinely a masterpiece. All in all I get why some people had and still have mixed feelings on FF10, but, if taken on its own it is a very good game, I can understand the attachment to it.
FF games are oft debated is in which one is "best" aren't they? This is the only one I have nostalgic attachment too and I fully admit to rose tinted glasses on it XD Thanks for the comment!
