I miss how minecraft RUclips was back in 2014 and around then when it was mostly just sp let’s plays and small smps those were simpler times. Thankyou for bringing it back to the present with this series
The idea of having a forever minecraft world is actually such a good idea. I feel like I often loose motivation for a world because in the back of my mind I think "I'm only gonna play on this world for a week"
@@divdav Same, since 2012 or so. I could never understand why would you ever create a new world in this game, when you can just walk in any direction and generate new stuff. That way you can always connect all your builds with a rail.
Growing up, we had a horse named Whiskey, and he was one of the best companions you could ask for so I offer Whiskey as a potential name for your new best friend
Of course! I plan on also bringing all the RUclips members to this world too but I wanted to make sure to acknowledge your block. The color palette turned out better than I expected it to, I also normally don’t use acacia but I think it looks nice here
I'm just the type of person that would say to people "while you're entitled to your opinions, I will play my game how I enjoy it." I really hate when people get on creators for using mods of any kind. Minecraft is a sandbox game that is meant to be played however you may want to play it. You paid for it not people that watch the videos so 🤷🏾♀
They are being purists because it's the only way they can justify feeling superior to us when their builds don't even look as good as my 8 year old's. That defensive bratty sounding "Oh yeah?! Well, MINE was built in vanilla survival!" Like- do you want a cookie? 😂
No big ahh farm in the first episode, no full netherite in the first, episode no Elytra in the first episode. Automatically a goated minecraft RUclipsr. You deserve a sub🔥
For the kitchen: Not every furnace has to face the same direction. 😉And blast furnaces have a very nice texture on the top that would look great in the floor in front of the other furnaces. They could serve to protect the wood from catching fire. Barrels and looms can serve as kitchen cabinets. A cauldron with a tripwire hook above it can serve as a sink. Finally, a banner with a simple striped pattern could serve as a kitchen towel. 🙂
Good stuff right here, for sure. To be perfectly honest, it is nice to see a non-hardcore playthrough, brings back a bit of that old school ‘let’s just play Minecraft’ feel of old, no need to rush the god armor, no need to build mob switches, etc. plus, there are other ways to raise the stakes without losing your entire world (sacrifice X diamonds per death, build a shrine for lives lost, or whatever, if so inclined). Really looking forward to seeing a more relaxed, slow-burn play, I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I’ll enjoy watching. Very, very cool
17:27 idk if anyone could read that or cared but quite literally I felt what he said. Editing and trying to show it is too much from time to time when/if it wasn’t recorded, but he ended that with “alright mom, love you” and honestly I love that so much…also I’m a new subscriber so yeah. And as far as your munchkin kitty, she is gorgeous!
hey, it's really nice to see youtubers joining the long-term world club! i used to create a new world, make a house, get diamonds, then start over and that made me just... not really enjoy the game. after 1.18 came out i decided to create a "forever survival world" of my own and let me tell you, it's so satisfying to see all of the builds i've done so close together and even upgrade some earlier designs! i think you'll enjoy it too and i hope more people start doing it as well. cheers!
I've found when trying to avoid using villagers too heavily in a world that it's much easier when you have to set up houses/shops and build a proper village for the villagers rather than just cramming them all into a trading hall. It's also a good source of projects and makes a world feel more lived in having the builds serve real purpose. Love the episode, I look forward for whats to come!
This is actually the very first video that I’ve watched for your channel and I’m enjoying just how casual and nonchalant the gameplay is. You also sound very nice so I think I’ll be watching some more of your content. Keep being amazing man, all the love. ❤️
New Sub here! As a normal minecraft survival let's play enjoyer of the older demographic, I'm glad you gave this gamemode a good go. I've been playing minecraft since 2017 and now have a 3-year old survival world. And just like what you've said, this type of gameplay is really suited for a laid back type of gameplay, an avenue for storytelling, and lore building if I may add. I hope you'd give these concepts a go if you plan on making this a forever world. Since i noticed it fits your style of commentary & storytelling. I wish you the best of luck!👍
i love the slow pace and just listening to you talk about nothing and everything. this is definitely a series i'll enjoy having on replay in the background whenever i'm doing something
Yay, for new starts! I actually prefer regular survival let's plays over hardcore. So please, take your time and enjoy the journey. Playing with large biomes are a lot of fun when you find that place you want to call home. For the scale of your starter house the roof looks much better after you tucked it in by a block. Also, the whole build looks so inviting.
I think large biomes is going to be amazing for this world, it will kinda force me to slow the pace down, especially if I just don’t get elytra for a while
If you play a normal minecraft world it gets super tempting to just delete it once everyone stops playing. But I found that if you instead pay for a server and a yearly subscription, there's a pretty big incentive to not delete it anymore and suddenly that one world matters an awful lot, way more than any regular old world. So a few months ago I started a private server - a small one - just more me and my family, and I fully intend for it to last DECADES at least. It's going well so far, because I went seed hunting before hand and we got a beautiful mountain bowl spawn that is making for the perfect community hub. We've got tunnels through the mountains and paths going out a few thousand blocks to everyone's personal area that they chose to settle down in. I think I've finally managed to get me and my family a forever minecraft world and I couldn't be happier. It's well worth the money IMO.
Brother, I relate so much to your struggle of balancing your work day to day and want to build big awesome things for your viewers. Generally I think two things. People who return to watch, come for you more than the builds and also I think those people generally will wait eagerly for the episodes that have larger scale builds. This community, being the Minecraft community is one who above all else, know, experience, and respect the grind. Great content, keep it up but don't over extend yourself. Your audience will always understand.
This is brining back the feels of when I would watch survival series back in 2013-2016. Just the simple survival vibes without the speed running and just taking it slow and enjoying it all.
I too, am a working man that only gets a couple hours per week to play games, and minecraft is my game of choice due to the fact that I have kiddos running around. but i just found your series and really like your video style. I also like to watch fWhip, and really enjoy his recording, and play style. Keep it up brother!
I feel like this series is a breath of fresh air in the vanilla scene for relaxing series. Also the horse should be Pumpkin due to you finding them by pumpkins. Just a thought
With your kitchen you could make like a brick oven with a chimney and campfires making smoke go up the chimney. Also with the invisible item frames maybe but some food items on the counters.
glad you started a survival world i love the hardcore too but sometimes being able to d:e in minecraft is sometimes a relief for you and also sometimes you can its funny and not just stressful bc you lost your world horse name idea: Shrumster
I decided to do the same with my most recent world, just taking it really slow and enjoying the early game more and not rushing the progress. It gives it a more relaxed and calmer feel, that brings back the nostalgia of playing the game for the first time. :)
First time viewer, i really enjoy the sentiment of the video being that "let's take our time to enjoy the game and not rush to end game" less focused on a wow factor. Just a good ol' series of casual survival. much love from Canada
I love how Minecraft gives you a different world every seed, one that is the same for everyone, that you can explore for literally an entire year (in real life) and never get bored of discovering new things. There is a beauty in walking through Minecraft's block world due to the vastness of it, even as a 30 year old. I sometimes join the $20 subscription to 2b2t (also bought a $2 pack of every item you could ever need) just to explore land that STILL has yet to be explored by anyone. I have a base that I created 2 or 3 years ago that is still there; it isn't full of any great material but no one has messed with it. It just demonstrates how massive the world is.
dude ive been experiencing a lot of the same desires with wanting to have a forever world - a world where i can take the game slow and enjoy the little things that i would normally miss if i was to be super efficient. im excited for this mini-series!
If anybody is wondering the fast text at 17:27 reads "pretty sure i didnt show myself seeing that abandoned village but i've literally edited the entire video at this point and i really don't feel like going back and adding in that section so i'll just usd this to describe that i saw an abandoned village earlier. alright mom, love you
I'm so happy that you tone it down a bit. It reminds me of my childhood, when there were not so huge builds. Also you could name the Horse Captain Hoof, i think thats a funny but also kinda cute name. Great Video btw
I like how many Minecraft RUclipsrs are opting out of the hardcore challenge and are choosing the much more laid back survival gameplay. It's actually quite refreshing, and it leads to the possibility of a more consistent long term series, rather than a series getting cut short by a sneaky creeper ambush! I'm in for this ride 😬
Girl horse: Aspa Boy horse: Tatum Love the long chilled video, and the more personal stuff like about your keyboard and cat!! Really looking forward to this series, hope it’s not too much of a mini one!!
I just stumbled on this thru YT recs and just wanna say I love the idea! I also work full time and find it hard to fully relate to huge scale series even if I still enjoy them! I think it's great to balance out your own balance and enjoyment with the needs of this as a job too :) looking forward to more!
Ooo so glad i found this series, i love playing in my little calm world. I play on hard but at my own pace and just enjoy doing my own thing and not rushing
this seed is awesome for sure, also love this style of playing most and hope you enjoy it. playing without feeling a rush to do anything is what minecraft is all about for me
This is so refreshing, I haven’t engaged with Minecraft content in a while because the current scene is hard for me to relate to, but this is just so cozy and nice. I hope you have a wonderful time with this new world and I’m looking forward to future videos in it 💜
I don’t know if it’s just me bit if I enjoy listening to someone talk I immediately get hooked on their content. Guess I’ma subscribe now and watch this whole series to the end!! 😅
For your kitchen a cauldron in there would act as a sink and maybe a few carpets in front of the cauldron. For the tree some fence posts might help with variety. Love the slow play aspect you’re going for.
New Subscriber for you Love this survival content just stumbled upon you on my RUclips Home page and finally a series that I can relate to because nothing fast and everything is chill and slow Love this ❤❤❤
I love that more people are taking survival slowly and surely like it’s meant to be played, u just earned a sub, also, did anyone else notice the emerald ore veins at the start, that is one hell of a seed,
After 5000 hours playing this game & at least that much watching content, I was burned out. Stumbled upon this series & its refreshing. Much appreciated & I'll be tuning in.
I made my first "forever world" around the time of the 1.11 or 1.12 update and have kept playing it about once a week since. It is by far my favorite world, and I hope other people can experience having a world like that.
I just had a minecraft burnout and started not enjoy playing it anymore. But recently i just sat down one night and set out some rules. Taking it easy this time, no pressure, just enjoying that feeling of playing minecraft and discover this world again,no big farms, no exploiting villagers no nothing. And let me tell you i have been happy and more at peace since then. Idk its just fun again.
just discovered your channel, and this was a really fun cozy video to watch. I have some new build inspirations now. Especially that tree. Never thought of doing that.
Ngl makes me wanna start up minecraft again haha enjoying the series and the tree looks really cool, could add a story to each tree like have a light or sign for wanders of past to find their ways!
That roof is so cool! It wouldn't look as weird ( for lack of a better word) if maybe you put windows in the empty space between the beam you added at the front.
I just discovered this channel and I’m vibing with the slowed down survival theme. Plus the track in the background slaps. Nice content. Keep it up! 👍🏻
I can confirm Large Biomes and horse adventures go well together! This is my favorite thing to do in Minecraft. For long-distance travel, it works really satisfyingly to get Frostwalker boots and then lead my faithful steed with me to cross vast oceans. At night, the ice-bridge will stay there for the return journey, but it disappears behind you during the day, which is satisfying in of itself. I usually breed a faithful steed horse and then breed up a mule to be almost as good (just as fast, typically lower jump since all donkeys start at 1 jump) so I have extra inventory on long journeys. My mule-friend holds my "adventuring equipment"* on the way out, and on the way home it carries my loots and spoils. It's so satisfying to throw down a fence post and tie my horse while I explore a new site and harvest resources to bring back home. *Adventuring Equipment mostly being alternate enchanted boots (need a non-Frostwalker pair outside of traversing oceans) and helmets, or campfires and water if I have temperature and/or survival mods added. Extra tools, stacks of mushroom, crafting table, furnace, bed, etc. Stuff I only need if i'm stopping for the night. :)
I too love exploring with a trusty steed. I used to just pop them into my boat for ocean travel, but that's no longer an option. Frostwalker is a great work around! Thanks for this idea so much!
@@irisbear9421 you're welcome! I cannot express how incredibly satisfying it all is, ESPECIALLY if you're on multiplayer and everyone has their own faithful steeds riding alongside your ice bridge. It also works really well for bringing home livestock (traveling merchants are great sources of leads until you find a swamp at full moon). If you travel at night so that the ice-bridge is still there for the return trip, you can put leads on all the livestock and ride your faithful steed full-speed without risk of breaking any of the leads until you reach dry land again.
I found your channel by chance!! Your minecraft content reminds me of the best age of minecraft videos on YT around 2012~2017. Bro take your time, enjoy this immersive journey and keep this quality of video. Your content rock, man! It inspired me to get back into playing MC since it's been a long time without surviving out there. Love it
I started minecraft again and taking it easy too. And i tought to myself to not create other ones... If i feel like i get too tired of the spot or the same things I will just take a "Stone Survival Kit" some food and just start again in another location. I figured if i do that at the end i will just have created a bunch o villages everything with its own story and history. And at the end of the road to explore and redescover these "villages" full of memories again.
I hope you start a new trend with this, I'm tired of the crazy giant mega hard-core worlds. I haven't seen any of your videos before but you a subscriber in me for this series. I miss old minecraft let's plays, slow down and enjoy the playthrough. This is awesome Also your personality is perfect for this kind of let's play, your not over the top or trying to hard to be enthusiastic. I can tell you are literally just being you.
So, I've been watching minecraft lets plays since Coestar started doing it. My favorite minecraft content is survival and chill. I didn't really care about big builds or automation. I liked the slow life pace and just taking your time and telling stories about ones life. It's so calming for loads of people. Might be something to consider. Oh, and I just decided to sub to you.
Please make series like this more often 🤗 building in the survival world with a relaxed and a little unhurried is more enjoyable to watch, love u vid ma man!
Just found this account and will forever be watching it! Watching you spawn in to that area made me think dinosaurs so I already knew I would be subscribing.
been looking for a good minecraft series like this. its perfect, slow-paced, enjoyable, and doesnt have the usualu dumb commentary thats not even about the game. Great video man definitly subbing now!!
Just found your channel and subbed. If it was one of those HC series I probably wouldn't have, it's way too played out. Looking forward to seeing what you do in your world just as a regular playthrough
Regarding the reason as to why not to build a smoker is because if you build a campfire, you can cook your food for free and it can be automated with a hopper/dispenser
Hey a good rule of thumb, if you want to play more casual- don't reroll a villager until you have built it a house, and max 2 adult villagers per house. (when kids grow you have to move them out) Just a fun self-imposed rule to slow things down.
I LOVE a slowed-down survival series. I like actually being able to relate to the content .

I don’t know if it’s just me bit if I enjoy listening to someone talk I immediately get hooked on their content. Guess I’ma subscribe now and watch this whole series to the end!! 😅
Name your horse ghost
Perfect
For your kitchen a cauldron in there would act as a sink and maybe a few carpets in front of the cauldron.
For the tree some fence posts might help with variety.
Love the slow play aspect you’re going for.
there’s something magical about slowed down series, this is the type of gameplay I’ve been looking for tbh
I hope you saw that jungle temple 👀. I still find it so cool to find these old school generated structures.
It's been around 10 years since I've watched a Minecraft Let's Play that wasn't trimmed into oblivion, so sure I'll stick around and watch. Hi.
New Subscriber for you
Love this survival content just stumbled upon you on my RUclips Home page and finally a series that I can relate to because nothing fast and everything is chill and slow
Love this
❤❤❤
I love that more people are taking survival slowly and surely like it’s meant to be played, u just earned a sub, also, did anyone else notice the emerald ore veins at the start, that is one hell of a seed,
After 5000 hours playing this game & at least that much watching content, I was burned out. Stumbled upon this series & its refreshing. Much appreciated & I'll be tuning in.
Love this change of pace in the minecraft landscape, will check out your hardcore videos !
I recently started my Forever world series and it is extremely refreshing to take it slow and just enjoy the game.
I feel your situation man.... balanzing the crazy minecraft status quo of content creation and a full time job is really difficult
just discovered your channel, and this was a really fun cozy video to watch. I have some new build inspirations now. Especially that tree. Never thought of doing that.
Stumbled across this and happy to see someone creating a new survival world. I will enjoy watching 😊
Just discovered your channel and it’s SO nice to find a series that is chill and not Hardcore. You have a new subscriber 😊
Ngl makes me wanna start up minecraft again haha enjoying the series and the tree looks really cool, could add a story to each tree like have a light or sign for wanders of past to find their ways!
This will be a great series! Love the more slow pace!
Also I think the horse looks like a Ginny
Love it
First video I have seen from your channel. Reminds me of when I was a kid and watched videos of people just playing a game. Good Work!!
This is just the series I've been needing! I can't wait to see what you do next dude :D
And at the end of the road to explore and redescover these "villages" full of memories again.
looking forward to this series! you’re a great builder and i really enjoy this format
That kitty is absolutely adorable and She is THE QUEEN
just the fact he works full time along with HC Minecraft ALREADY deserves a sub
i just stumbled upon your channel with this video being the first i’ve seen and i truly love this content and wanted to let yk to please keep it up🖤💯
I hope you start a new trend with this, I'm tired of the crazy giant mega hard-core worlds. I haven't seen any of your videos before but you a subscriber in me for this series. I miss old minecraft let's plays, slow down and enjoy the playthrough. This is awesome
Also your personality is perfect for this kind of let's play, your not over the top or trying to hard to be enthusiastic. I can tell you are literally just being you.
Absolutely gorgeous building style, love it. I wish I could build that well. You got my sub, I’m curious about your other videos after this one
This is so comforting I'm sleepy watching it lol! Wish I could lay down. Technically at work
So, I've been watching minecraft lets plays since Coestar started doing it. My favorite minecraft content is survival and chill. I didn't really care about big builds or automation. I liked the slow life pace and just taking your time and telling stories about ones life. It's so calming for loads of people. Might be something to consider. Oh, and I just decided to sub to you.
I am very excited to see more of this series. I enjoyed your hardcore videos but I think this one is my favorite.
Please make series like this more often 🤗 building in the survival world with a relaxed and a little unhurried is more enjoyable to watch, love u vid ma man!
I really like your vibe with ur commentary it’s like I’m just listening to a friend talk, great video can’t wait for the next one :)
i love how casual the video feels, also the cat got me! im going to suscribe and watch all your videos when i finish this one
Great video man definitly subbing now!!
also great building I like how you actually put texure and detail into your builds
Call the horse, Lady Grey. Nice play through. I love chill early game stuff.
The neo cubest has been my main fix for slower lets plays for a while and glad to find another one to binge ☕ hell yea
I haven’t seen a neo cubest video in forever, completely forgot about that guy until now lol
Just found your channel and subbed. If it was one of those HC series I probably wouldn't have, it's way too played out. Looking forward to seeing what you do in your world just as a regular playthrough
Instant sub. I've been looking for a series like this to enjoy. Can't wait for the content.
Please keep this gong as long as possible i miss this type of lp
Regarding the reason as to why not to build a smoker is because if you build a campfire, you can cook your food for free and it can be automated with a hopper/dispenser
Hey a good rule of thumb, if you want to play more casual- don't reroll a villager until you have built it a house, and max 2 adult villagers per house. (when kids grow you have to move them out) Just a fun self-imposed rule to slow things down.
