I'm also wanting to invest in a sturdy tripod, currently I have the manfrotto 055 alu series but it wobbles a little.. Do you have any recommendations for a tripod that would suit a 500 F4 L? Thank you.

That’s the 45 l because the 30 l I have it does not fit any big lens with a camera attached like they say. I have the Nikon d500 with the 400mm f4 and that’s all it fits but with out the camera attached. My 80$ newer bag fits more then that lol 😂 get the 45l if your a wildlife photographer . Gitzo needs to do more explaining on it with the lenses.

Jeremias Lindner it’s not the point of that I have mirror less camera Sony even the 200-600 won’t fit still and I’m talking about the 30l not the 45l cause that what I have now .

would be nice if a Gitzo bag actually accommodated a tripod so one wouldn't have to carry it on the shoulder...
