@@605sunflower There's a lot more to SD Burman than these interviews. I could go on and on. Thanks for the comments.
What great insight. Shows how Dada treated each of his song with utmost care and respect to make it each a piece to cherish for lifelong. Not for nothing that the world remembers his songs even today as much they did in his times. He was a true genius and above all.
Peeyush Sharma Peeyush ji, He was a composer and a singer par excellence. We can never thank him enough for leaving behind a legacy by way of not only his sung songs and composed music, but also having trained so many who worked with him. If he worked with Uttam Singh......i am pretty sure that Dubeji must have worked on the rhythm arrangement of movie " Waaris". Get the CD of this movie and hear the arrangement. You will know what i mean.
@Sandeep Oz, The music directors for Waaris were Uttam Singh-Jagjeet Khanna jointly. Uttam Singh also was arranger in the film and played as well. Dubey je played in all songs. (Information by U. K. Dubey ji.

Motiji no doubt you are doing a great job by bringing such talented personalities into the limelight. A few words - you can ignore if you feel its too harsh. You have a really irritating nature of interrupting the person who is speaking, in this case Dubeyji..This is irritating to not just the speaker, but also the listeners. Secondly, a little bit of research regarding the subject, would make the interview more interesting. And lastly, any form of criticism is not meant to irk or dis-hearten, its only to make the person aware or to tell the person how he can do better.
@vinod kumar, Thanks for comments. Noted your advice. You could be right. I have taken your comments positively. I'll watch this interview carefully. It may help if you point out the timing, when you felt the question was irrelevant. Thank you again.

Actually my comments were in response to Mr Dube's remark that SDB's songs were always a hit irrespective or the film's success/failure. In "Benazeer" the only song that I can recall is "Dil mein ek jaane tamna ..". Having said that, I still remain a die hard SDB fan.
tintunbirha That is Dubey ji perspective. But one thing is true. SDB had the highest success rate among all the MDs. Have you seen my other interviews on SDB? They all tell you many untold facts about the genius that he was. Subscribe to my channel, and you can see all of them in one place.
tintunbirha, I am being a Bengali from Kolkata and in the Music Industry for a long time and playing percussion with almost all the famous Bengali singers as well as other singers from different parts of India for a long time, and a DI-Hard "SDB Premee", I personally have a great collection of almost all the songs of SDB sung in Bangla from 1941 to 1975 !! Therefore, I respectfully disagree with "Tintunbirth". Yes, "Benageer" film was one of his NOT that popular film songs, but as you said besides " Dil mein ek jaane tamna..by Md. Rafi." there were other songs by Lata Ji like " Husnu Ke sabab leke Ayyethe Sanam.......Ki Mil Seke na Haam", " Mile Ja...Mile Ja Mile Ja.by Lataji .it was a Pure classical based song flavoured with Pathos - and soft melancholic music. " Ei Mere Jaane Waafa..Mera Katil Aap Hai.." By none other than Lataji and there are so many wonderful rich classical music based songs in "Benazeer" film.
Dave Bhaumik Glad to know about your passion for SDB, besides playing percussion yourself. What you say about Benazir songs is very true.
